We went on Saturday in early September and they were open, we returned the following day on Sunday- the SAME weekend, and they had flipped over their "closed for the season" sign. Weird. It seems like places on the spit are closing earlier and earlier every year; never mind those of use who live in Alaska within driving distance who are waiting for the tourists to leave so we can enjoy local businesses.
