On more than one occasion they special ordered a part when they had 3 and I needed a 4th. They never gave me my own parking spot even after the 87th visit, but, hey the cashier claimed they never gave her a parking spot either! Not to worry there is actually more than sufficient parking.

Three of us in a cul-de-sac just had the mobile service from the Springboro store come out and sercice 4 mowers. Oil change, oil filters, blade sharpening, flat tire repair; they did it all. The alternative would be to rent trailers and take them the store. It was awesome having the service done right here where we live. For sure next year we'll call and setup another service call. It was great and our technician was knowledgeable about all of our mowers; zero turn, lawn tractor, and walk behind. You won't be disappointed.

I have been going here for 25+ years, back when it was Centerville Mill. I can get some things…read morethere I can't get at the big box stores. One thing is they do propane fills. Today I went to fill one of my tanks. They had about three tanks getting filled. The process is that the tank gets picked up at the front of the store and taken to the back behind the building and filled at the bulk propane tank. You then pick up your tank after paying. I had a relatively new tank (less than a year) with only three fills. One of the other people getting a tank filled walked off with mine. I complained because of how new my tank was and the tank that was left was older and worn. Store management replaced the tank at no expense to me. They need to improve their process, but they did good by me.

Went in today for two items with my toddler. Long line of customers with one person manning the…read moreregister and helping others so poor planning on their part. I went to grab one of the things I needed and found it was locked??? We are in Centerville so why is a simple screwdriver set locked? Which was extremely aggravating as I was short on time with a restless toddler. But I needed the tool so I waited in the cashier line since there was no one else around to ask for help. When I got to the front I asked him to unlock the item. He said that he would help me, but is going to ring the lady out who was behind me first....strike 1 as I had been already waiting for a while and now he wants to help others who were behind me. He didn't even ask me if that would be alright with me. He rings the lady out, which was a water jug exchange. She asks him to take the new jug to the car. He tells me to wait "four seconds"as he takes the water to her car. Strike 2 Why couldn't that lady wait until he helped me? Clearly as a black woman in a predominantly white neighborhood it was very evident my time was not as important or important at all as this white woman's. I wait then a considerable amount of time until FINALLY other employees show up out the blue. I ask one of them if they can help me and he apprehensively with raised eyebrows goes "Okkkkayy, what do you need". Strike 3 The micro racial aggression is palpable at this point. Like no mention of an apology of the very clear fact there is no one around, I need help, and no ask if I had been waiting a while. Which I have but the cashier thought helping other people was more of a priority than helping me. On top of that the second item I needed was simply a power screwdriver which they don't have in stock. What kind of hardware store doesn't have that... Overall a terrible experience. Not going back. And finding more avenues to post this review and give 1 star for one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in my life.

I have frequented this hardware store on the main drag in Miamisburg at least half a dozen times in…read morethe one year or so I have been back in the area since relocating from the West Coast Benefits of this store are plenty of close free parking. It does not get that much business so no crowds to deal with the handful of people that work there seem to be pretty knowledgeable where things are located which is helpful. Pricing is just about average sure you could maybe save 5% or 10% traveling and Shopping Around and maybe you cannot find a better price The biggest advantage is if you're looking for small nuts and bolts screws washers and various hardware because you can buy them individually out of bins at two cents each five cents each whatever exactly how many you need and you can trial fit them to make sure you're getting the exact ones you want Everyone including me, hates having to buy a package of 50 or 100 nuts and bolts to only use two or three of them Another bonus is they have free popcorn for you as soon as you walk in the door it's super salty, but they make it pretty fresh and it's in bags to grab while you shop around and look for things They have a advertiser magazine of what they have on sale on a monthly basis I think and there's some occasional coupons in there They do not have everything obviously like lumber and such but for smaller hardware, various items for household or a business I think you will most likely find it here I think it's great to have here in the community as the star city hardware down in the middle of Miamisburg sadly is long gone

She recommended another brand that would be close to my original brand. I told her that solution wouldn't work as I will look at it for the next 25 years. I asked her why I should buy from Sherwin-William if there was no difference than buying from a Home Depot. She told me to leave and said if I didn't she would "call someone." Both my wife and I scheduled appointments in July of 2025 to get our batteries replaced in our Google pixels. Walked in to the location and understandably was turned away because they didnt have the batteries on hand. Unfortunately they didn't call ahead to tell us so I wasted my time driving there for my appointment but not a huge deal. After that, I was told I would be called in 4-6 weeks when they had the batteries. At 8 weeks still no call, so I called. I was told they didn't have either me or my wife on the wait list and that we would have to wait for more batteries to come in. Not sure why we weren't on the list? We had an appointment two months prior. I called again in September and was told no batteries available. Fast forward to today, May of 2026 almost a year later than the initial appointment I got an email that my appointment had been cancelled. I called in and the guy j spoke with had no record of me or my wife in his system and said "oh you can come in anytime, we've had the batteries available!" After waiting 10 months for a battery and 0 communication from this company it was pretty sad to hear the batteries are available and likely have been available for quite some time.
