Over the last year and a half I…read morehave been building a hot dog cart and being not all that mechanically inclined I found myself walking into Barney's asking how to do this or that and getting great solid advice, even when the advice was you need to go to another business to get a better price. On more than one occasion they special ordered a part when they had 3 and I needed a 4th. They never gave me my own parking spot even after the 87th visit, but, hey the cashier claimed they never gave her a parking spot either! Not to worry there is actually more than sufficient parking.

I have frequented this hardware store on the main drag in Miamisburg at least half a dozen times in…read morethe one year or so I have been back in the area since relocating from the West Coast Benefits of this store are plenty of close free parking. It does not get that much business so no crowds to deal with the handful of people that work there seem to be pretty knowledgeable where things are located which is helpful. Pricing is just about average sure you could maybe save 5% or 10% traveling and Shopping Around and maybe you cannot find a better price The biggest advantage is if you're looking for small nuts and bolts screws washers and various hardware because you can buy them individually out of bins at two cents each five cents each whatever exactly how many you need and you can trial fit them to make sure you're getting the exact ones you want Everyone including me, hates having to buy a package of 50 or 100 nuts and bolts to only use two or three of them Another bonus is they have free popcorn for you as soon as you walk in the door it's super salty, but they make it pretty fresh and it's in bags to grab while you shop around and look for things They have a advertiser magazine of what they have on sale on a monthly basis I think and there's some occasional coupons in there They do not have everything obviously like lumber and such but for smaller hardware, various items for household or a business I think you will most likely find it here I think it's great to have here in the community as the star city hardware down in the middle of Miamisburg sadly is long gone

So, I went to the store to cancel and order something online that would be quick. I told the associate why I needed to cancel....his reply..."Not a problem." I stopped in a few weeks later to thank them. I will shop there in a second if I need anything more.

I love to go there when I just want to run around for the day, never seems like I need anything and BOOM I've spent 100.00 easy again! The cashiers are always very friendly and helpful. The only downside to the store is maybe finding a cart. Yes, the store is a mess but it is an outlet you are not going into a Nordstrom. All in all I can't recommend this place more. Great prices, friendly people, and finding stuff you never knew you needed every single time you go in. I Love it

The two gallons was not enough and we needed less than a quart to finish the job. I asked to purchase a quart. Shelby told me that they didn't sell this paint in quarts. I told her that we bought from Sherwin-Williams for their expertise in estimating the volume and paint quality. I asked her if there was any other solution. She recommended another brand that would be close to my original brand. I told her that solution wouldn't work as I will look at it for the next 25 years. I asked her why I should buy from Sherwin-William if there was no difference than buying from a Home Depot. She told me to leave and said if I didn't she would "call someone." I assumed she was going to call the police. Stephaine, her co-worker, just laughed. As I walked out, Shelby told me to call her supervisor. I trusted Sherwin-Williams to help me with my paint needs only to have a shed that needs a little more paint. I guess I have learned my lesson on the character of your company. Sad. Dan Kinnett, SW city manager sent me an email saying he would be in touch. Never reached out again. I wouldn't recommend this store.
