But before I did that I'm one to smile and say "Good morning and excuse me" "where can I find this"? OMG-I was given "What! What do you need"! "That's in Aisle 14"...In a very rude and dismissive attitude. My parents raised me to be always respectful no matter how people treat you. So, I replied back to her and said "Thank you and have a wonderful day". Lady, need to relax, it's just a job. Not all customers who approach you are rude. I can say that because I've worked retailed and IK how it can be. Otherwise, I love this Lowe's because 99.9% of the time, I find what I'm looking for! Thanks LOWE's. Unfortunately, I'm starting to believe that one star review: the service we received was very…read moredisappointing. From the moment we entered, as Hispanics we felt as though we were being closely watched and followed throughout the store in a way that made us uncomfortable. We had no large bags or items with us--just a wallet--yet we were treated with a level of suspicion that did not seem warranted. At the same time, another customer (take a gander) in the store, who had a large backpack, which looked like it could fit an arsenal was able to shop freely without the same level of attention. The contrast in how we were treated was noticeable and concerning. Prior to visiting, I had already spoken with someone about purchasing a higher-priced item. However, due to the way we were treated during our visit, my husband and I decided not to move forward with the purchase. Instead, we chose to leave and spend our money elsewhere. We ended up going to a nearby business (Ss donuts) where we experienced welcoming and respectful service, which only highlighted the difference. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no customer should feel uncomfortable or singled out while simply trying to shop.
