WHAT IS ACE DOING??!!!…read more I ordered an item online from Ace and needed to return it, so I went to their website (sadly I ignored my instinct not to shop at Ace because they are going extinct). Their "easy" return policy states that you must find a store and return it there or call a number. I called the number and was met with a promotional scam. The only option to get to talk to a representative was to dial "1" which brings you to a promotional department asking if you want $100. I wasn't born yesterday and I know you never get something for nothing. I said I just want to know how to return my item and so they promptly hung up on me, so I had to find a store. The nearest store was Werner's Ace, in Florida, NY, which is a 25 minute drive from my house. When I got there and said that I needed to make an online return, a very rude woman snapped at me that I have to come back tomorrow because the person who does online returns will be in tomorrow. So, of the three people behind the counter, none knew how to process a return - there is just one person specially trained LOL??!!! What are you doing guys? Do you know what year it is?

They were able to help me with polyethylene tubing that big box stores weren't able to - they cut me off a piece of tubing so I didn't have to buy 100' when I needed 10'. Friendly service, they took their time. At checkout there were a couple of old head customers to chat with who were also friendly. Reasonable prices. For being as small as the location is they have a LOT of selection.
