I went to pick up my merchandise. I handed them my slip. He went into the computer to double check everything and told me that they had not given me my military discount. He backed up the order re-totaled it and gave me a refund. He did not have to do that. He could've just as easily either pocketed the $100 or he could have just let it go. But he didn't. He looked in the computer and saw that I was a prior customer he saw that we always got a military discount and we did not get it on this order so he told me and he corrected it, that is why I know these people are trustworthy and good. They had everything I needed, and a couple things I probably didn't, but bought anyway. I also asked for help with carrying out a heavy bag of salt, and no one hesitated for a minute. The quality of the materials here is head and shoulders above the selection at Home Depot. When we needed help at Home Depot we got blank stares or "it's not my Department" for answers. This was not in the distant past it was at 12:15 TODAY. The employees at Lowe's are friendly and knowledgeable. Help here is real help and not a sales pitch. Today's trip was for stainless steel screws and washers. After a wasted trip to Home Depot (small items and they are really close) I went here and quickly got exactly what I needed.
