I went to the store and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Later I called and asked to speak to management. They echoed the same line, they would replace it only if I bought the 2 year warranty (the person I spoke to at the store did not offer that. I had already gone to Home Depot (where they sell quality products) and purchased a new one. I understand a 90 day return policy, but this is a terrible business practice. It was brand new, in box, untouched, other than trying to get a faulty product to work. There is a reason that Harbor Freight has 1.5 stars.
