Just so we're clear, Douglasville store = good. They care, they've been very helpful. That's 3…read morestars worth of "OK"... However, CORPORATE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD - and I'm not impressed with the Camp Creek store either... That's another review... :( This review may change depedning how the final stages of my reimbursement are handled.... But right now. Bad corporate customer service, useless policies, that put all the burdens on the customer, and withhold money rightfully owed back to the customer in a reasonable amount of time. The AI bot is absolutely useless, and the delivery and returns are terrible because of "the system" "Corporate customer service" is such a bad joke. Will act like they care, and want to help the customer, but still just process everything the way their policies say to do it. Well, the policies are bunk! They are theft by conversion and money laundering. Service fee non-refundable = NOT MY PROBLEM, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DELIVERED ME A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM WITH THE MANUFACTURER. Also, as far as I'm concerned, if I GIVE MONEY TO ONE STORE - THEN THAT'S THE ONE THAT GIVES ME MY MONEY BACK, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS CASH. Not these shenanigans that corporate is enforcing that the "store that the inventory came from, from their warehouse, will have to give you some money back" (AND NOT ALL OF IT). Um, no bro, I gave money to the Douglasville store, cash in hand. Over $1,200 Then I'm told I'll get my money back for the actual freezer as a gift card mailed out to me... OK. I'LL BELIEVE WHEN I SEE IT. BUT... that to get my money back for the 5 year warranty (that was literally never used, because the return was made because the freezer was defective from day one, from the manufacturer....) ... is up to the discretion of the store that sold me the warranty. If they don't give me the unused warranty money back, then that's theft too! (I don't expect this to happen from Douglasville store, they're cool... should be...) But over all "bruh".... I gave ALL THE MONEY IN HAND TO THE DOUGLASVILLE STORE, BUT NOW I'M BEING TOLD MY RETURN MONEY WILL BE LOCKED INTO A GIFT CARD "WHEN IT GETS THERE"... (IN THE MAIL?!) Now I'm still committed to using that money at Lowe's, being locked into it feels dirty and wrong!!! And that's the theft as far as I'm concerned. I gave Lowe's my money. They shipped me a defective product.... and then instead of giving all the money back for a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT... it's locked to a gift card to their corporation!!!! I still HAVE TO SPEND THE MONEY WITH LOWE'S ON SOMETHING ELSE........ nah bruh. that's not cool! Especially for how bad your system and your customer service is!

Asked another employee for help finding a wheel for my yard cart. He looked it up in his cell phone & told me which aisle & bay to look in. Nothing there. Finally found a 3rd employee after I had been searching for leaf bags for several minutes. I told him the app said there were 70 in stock but could not find any. He said if I didn't see it on the shelves they didn't have any. Then he moved a forklift into the aisle forcing me to step into a display to avoid being run over. This is the worst run Lowes in which I ever shopped.

I went to this store, in order to buy a piece of Mahogany that I need for a project…read more While I was there, the store was overwhelming staffed and patroned by older men who I found to be rude. The lumber section of the store is in a back corner, and isn't a very large area. While I was selecting my piece of wood, several men would just walk walk in front and around me, without saying excuse me nor being verbal at all. It was like I wasn't even there, to them. So as to not get touched or knocked over, I had to move away from the lumber twice, even though I wasn't finished making my selection, just so I wouldn't be "in the way." When I went to check out, I was standing in line, and the cashier, Don, called the gentleman who was behind me up to the register to check out. That gentleman let the cashier know that I was ahead of him and it was my turn to check out. I had actually been standing in line for a while before the customer behind me even got in line. Don then called me up- he offered no apology. As he checked me out, Don didn't ask if I had found everything ok. Didn't ask if I needed anything else. Generally unfriendly. I just generally noticed a certain theme in this store, and I don't like the vibe. Maybe some diversity, in gender and/or race, would help offset that vibe. I'm not sure, and don't really care because me nor my dollars will be returning.

I attended the Douglas County Master Gardeners Plant Sale for the first time this year. This…read moreannual plant sale is held the first Saturday in May. Initially I had mixed feelings but now that I am starting to really enjoy many of the plants I purchased, I can honestly say that it was definitely a trip worth taking. Here is what initially gave me pause about the experience : It was held in a small crowded wooded area with uneven terrain and plenty of bugs. This was a problem because it was difficult to get around with carts and wagons. If you are smart, you take your wagon. It could have been held in their very spacious parking lot which would have offered a much better experience. The volunteers who were hosting the sale were difficult to identify. It would have been nice if they had all been wearing matching fluorescent vests or name tags. This is a small town so there was a lot of "visiting' going on when more attention should have been given to customers who had many questions were often left searching for assistance. When it came to the plants, not all of them were accurately labeled or priced and this created an inconvenience at check-out. There should be a rule that before plants are put out on display, they must be correctly identified and priced. We purchased quite a few plants and now that I have been able to identify them and they are starting to bloom, I am quite excited. I purchased several plants that you won't find in a local garden center and they were extremely affordable. If you go, observe the following: Arrive early Use bug spray Wear comfortable shoes Take a wagon or cart for convenience. Most importantly, know what is a "must puchase " and get it first!
