It was a very unpleasant experience that I will never go through again because they have lost my business forever. I am sure it was a misunderstanding that could have been cleared up if there had been better communication and less attitude of rudeness and not caring about the customer. I have orderEd pool salt and had it delivered to my home for years. The delivery was always on time and everyone was polite and nice. I have always requested that the salt be placed near our pool. It never seemed to be a problem. I appreciated it very much. These are 40 lb bags of salt and it was a bonus to have them near where they would be used. (Thank you for those years past.) This year the delivery was late. Ok. But I didnt know it would be two days late until I checked. No apology for inconvenience. When it was delivered the very rude man placed it in the driveway and said it wasn't his job to move it anywhere else and he wasn't going to do it. On the order I had asked for placement by pool as I always had. I admit that I lost my cool and in response to his attitude i was rude. He later reported to his boss that I called him names. I NEVER called him names. I was upset about the situation. My husband and I are 80 years old and he has health problems. There seems to be no respect for senior citizens who has been customers for many years. He finally, grudgingly moved the salt around to the pool. Basically said, yeah, old woman, are you happy now. You got your way. I said thank you for doing it and he said "I didn't do it for you." I called ACE. Did not speak to the manager as I requested, but thought the assistant manager would be of assistance. He said they only move items to driveway now and do not go into house, or fenced areas because of liability. They only did that in years past as a courtesy. I guess courtesy is no more. It would have been nice if they had made it clear when I placed the order. Also, he was impolite and rude to me and said that he wouldn't tolerate calling employees names , which IDID NOT do. Obviously he was waiting to light into me. And wasn't interested in hearing what I had to say. Rudeness seems to be the thing at this store. I told him I would never shop there again and he said "is there anything else we can do for you." No apology nor how can we make it right. Never shopping there again.

We go to Zettlers because it's local. We are frequent customers. I'm working on a project and I…read moreneeded a can of white spray paint. I sent my husband the twenty minute drive down to zettlers and he purchased a can of DoIt spray paint. The can would not spray no matter what we did to try to find a resolution. So I sent my husband back today to exchange it for another can and the manager (Jordan) refused. He fiddled with it for a few minutes and was able to get it to spray. My husband understanding how important this project was for me to get it finished today, went ahead and purchased another can of paint ($17) because he knew if he came home and I couldn't use the original can of paint I was going to be upset. So when my husband got home and explained the situation I was dumbfounded. I called the store and talked to Jordan who again refused to exchange the can of paint. He basically said there's no way he could resell it so he wasn't taking the loss. He ssmaid he was able to get the can working. I tried to use the can and it took everything i had to make our spray. He also told me that the owner Mike would tell me the same thing and that the owner would also not exchange the can of paint. Now I know from experience working in customer service that the last thing a manager should do when you have an upset customer is to tell the customer that the owner would not do anything different. The last thing a manager should do is to not find a resolution for the customer. A simple exchange was all we wanted. Instead we are out over 2 hours plus the$5 can of paint that basically went in the trash and the additional $17 we spent for a working can of paint. Beyond disappointed. The teenagers that work at this store always treat is with respect, Jordan could take some lessons.

The staffs there were extremely helpful on giving us ideas on how and what we needed to do to complete our projects. Home Depot is always a go to place for us when we are thinking about doing any type of renovation or repair to our house. The prices at Home Depot is also very reasonable.

We found the soil about one third the way back on the side wall. Grabbed some Dahlia bulbs as a spontaneous purchase and made our way to the counter. While doing so I checked into Yelp. As I checked in I received a bonus coupon from using Yelp... (a big red screen popped onto my phone with a coupon for a free key! Offers like this sometimes happen randomly if you remember to check into locations enough times) The free key made this trip in an exceptional value! He quoted me $50 for the belt and 1/4 hour to install it. Later I get a call from the mechanic saying that was incorrect and both the belt and labor was more than I was quoted. Lastly he said it needed new blades and that one of them was bent. When I went in to pick up the mower I told him I wanted to see the blades. Neither he nor I could see any bent blade and at that point it was obvious they were just interested in selling me new blades instead of sharpening the old ones. Needless to say I will find somewhere more reputable to take my mower in the future.

He called the dealership & verified which aftermarket parts they use, they answered with Napa. So he then called Napa (in Marengo). The guy quoted us $440 for all parts needed, but they weren't in stock. It would only take a day to get them, but we called the Sunbury location anyways. The associate was super helpful & quoted us $330 for everything! He said the items we needed weren't in stock but were on a truck & would be there by 1:00. We arrived at 2:00 to pick everything up & the associate had everything in a box waiting for us, including everything my husband would need to do an oil change on his truck. He was in & out in a few minutes & the associate even helped carry the parts to the car. Great prices & awesome service, we found our new go-to parts store!
