Quality tends to be good, I've never had an IKEA item that wasn't good quality and last. Prices - they're bargain section is really good, they put a lot of items on clearance and for good prices, not just like kinddd of a deal, they really slash it so it goes quick. SO if you like deals, go during the week and often. Layout and product selection is very IKEA, very consistent. Hate that there's not an easier way to get directly to the section you want to get to, but ... there are cut-throughs to skip a section if you can notice them. My goodness if I sat on most of them, I'd never be able to get up! Soo low. The couches?They look very cheap and under comfortable for the most part- although the pricing was not . It's definitely geared more towards first apartment/college vibes. There were some end tables that looked decent. The thing that got me was when I was ready to go- I couldn't. The labyrinth just kept going!! My goodness I thought I was going to get rewarded with a slice of cheese once we got out! I know a lot of people love it but it was not for me. The room looks so bright and clean now, the new fixtures work beautifully, and cleaning takes almost no time at all. Plus, we now have stylish grab bars, a non-slip shower pan, and a larger drain that won't get clogged with hair. Michelle suggested removing some wall tile to extend the new Onyx wall slabs in the shower enclosure to the door molding, and we are really pleased with the result. The 3-person installation crew, led by Kevin, got the whole job -- including replacing two toilets -- done in 8 hours. They showed up on time, were very pleasant, and they cleaned up after themselves. There were a few minor issues after the job was done, and Michelle sent Matt over. He made everything perfect, and he was just as nice as the rest of the crew. Columbus Bath Design gave us a fair price. They are one of the best contractors we've had in the 24 years we've lived in this old house.

There were ton's of scenarios to choose from and even more counter and vanity samples. As for the actual work on the job, CBD had some of the most able and professional craftsmen that I've run across. These guys were on time, worked diligently, contained demo dust and debris very well and took a lot of pride in how they installed the new product. That last part was very important to me. Not one of them treated the remodel like it was mine....It was more like they were doing the work in their own homes. It was flawless. During the project, they asked me my preference as to locations of towel and TP bars and soap caddies in the shower and bath and the direction of the floor being laid. We ultimately decided to order the flooring directly through Vlad because the quality was the best for the price! They completed the install in about 4-5 days (over 1200sq ft!). Having just moved to an outdated home in Worthington - installing hardwood floors was a priority. We had 3 different types on flooring on our first level (thick tile, carpet, laminate). Between Bath Tune Up and their subcontractors, I had 5 different contacts I worked with and scheduled separate appointments with- each of whom told me different things. None of them seemed aware of discussions that I'd already had with the others. Multiple times they either didn't show up for appointments or canceled last minute (especially frustrating when I had taken time off work to be home for the appointment). To their credit, early in the process they identified a leak in the side of our house that we needed to fix immediately. Bath Tune Up paused their work and was very patient while I got the leak fixed. After 10 days I notified them that the leak was fixed and the bathroom work could continue. It took them 9 weeks after that to finish the work. Also to their credit, multiple times when I complained about the quality of the work they did send someone out to see and then later come out to fix the work. However- this required a ton of time and management from me. I'd rather they did it right the first time.

I have been telling them that the cabinets are the wrong color. I was originally told to put up curtains and they'll look darker! No, I ordered black cabinets, not brown. Given the dining room is also an open area of our home that is considered a great room I was very specific on my needs. The size, the style and most importantly on budget. After viewing lights on their website, we landed on a few that we feel in love with. The website allowed me to customize my search making it easier to find what we were looking for. So, to decide on which of the two we found online, my husband and I headed to the store. The location of this store is easy to find and right off Polaris Parkway. Parking out front making it easily accessible. Upon entering on this Saturday afternoon, we were immediately welcomed by a few individuals. Lucky for them we had exactly which lights we wanted to see. The lady who assisted us told us that those particular lights they didn't carry in the store so we couldn't see them. Given we got distracted by the vast number of lights in the store we started to look around to see if we found one there that met my size, style and budget requirements instead. We found a few at the store and realized they didn't have of those in stock and would have to order anything at this point we liked. Both the two online we saw and in store. She let us know it would take 3-4 weeks for the light to be shipped to their store for pick up. Hmmm. I wasn't happy about that but nothing we could do but order and wait. So, my husband and I agreed on a light and it was one we saw online. We got light bulb recommendations which was extremely helpful. I didn't know how intense the decision on light bulbs were. Definitely appreciated. After leaving the store, I was part excited and part disappointed we would have to wait and then drive back up here to pick up the light. Will update the review upon the receipt of our new light.
