Don't buy Pokémon cards from here. They are resealing and selling them…read more So, I went in and got a Booster Bundle, slightly below scalper prices, but significantly above MSRP. The guy who brought the cards up, looked like he was mad at me for some reason, and was being very short, and asked for my signature, before even giving me the product. I didn't think much of it, but it felt like he just wanted to get me out, and on my way. My mistake was not looking at the product closely, and inspecting it. I just took it to my car, sat it on my seat and drove home, since it's ACE Hardware, a reputable store. When I got home, I already had 3 other bundles, that I had picked up from a few Pokémon Vending Machines over the last week or so. I noticed that the one from ACE Hardware had a significant thicker, and tighter seal wrap. It felt like a completely different material. I then opened the packs, and I noticed that almost every pack from the ACE bundle, had little openings in the top corners of the individual bags, which none of the other packs had. They also were significantly harder to open, compared to every other pack. Lastly, one of the packs from ACE had a Pokémon card that was near the middle of the pack, was warped. It was significantly bowed, while the other cards around it, we're perfectly straight. After searching online, and doing some research, these were all signs of being a resealed pack. I collect them for fun, and just started. So I just hope they aren't fake cards, and are just resealed "bad pulls" or whatever. I didn't expect to get any good cards, so I don't care too much. But, be warned.

Before bringing it in, I asked the cashier if it was okay since I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to purchase a few items. The cashier said it was fine. A few minutes later, the store manager, who I believe is named Evan, came through the store yelling, "Whose e-bike is that?" in front of other customers. Instead of speaking to me professionally, she immediately became confrontational. I calmly explained that I only needed a few minutes to finish my purchase, but she responded by insulting me and using profanity. I'm an adult, a paying customer, and a regular shopper at this location. There was no reason for the situation to be handled with shouting and disrespect. If there was a store policy, it could have been explained politely instead of creating a scene. I reported the incident to corporate, but because this location is independently franchised, they were unable to resolve the issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this store while this manager is in charge. Customers deserve professionalism and respect, not public embarrassment over a situation that could have been handled with a simple conversation. Ty

Wanted to be ready for a big July4 barbecue party. We assembled the new grill and found that the NG nozzle from our house didn't fit the NG receiving hose from the new grill. Thanks to the excellent technician at ACE we found an adapter for the new grill to safely draw gas from the NG hose at our home.

I want to share a very disappointing experience at your Diamond Bar, CA location especially in…read morelight of your slogan, "Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks." Unfortunately, that was not at all reflected during my visit. I was looking for gutter clips to hang string lights. Your website indicated that the item was available for pickup within 15 minutes at this location. Based on that, I chose to go directly to the store instead of placing an online order. When I asked for assistance, the employees told me they "could not even begin to know where to find it" because the item was buried in the back as a seasonal product. This was already frustrating given that your website clearly showed the item as readily available. I asked if placing an online order for pickup would prompt them to retrieve the item. I was surprised when they told me they would not fulfill it and would simply cancel the order instead. This experience was not only unhelpful but also discouraging. It felt like there was no willingness to assist or find a solution. Additionally, while these gutter clips may be categorized as seasonal, they are commonly used year-round for backyard string light not just for holiday décor. I left the store feeling frustrated and let down. I expected a much higher level of customer service, especially from a brand that emphasizes helpfulness so strongly. At least they had pie.

The platen or the piece that you crank down to hold the paper tight has bent as it will not hold paper tight or flat. I was first greeted by a women named Vicky who once I explained my issue to she asked me if she could have a different sales person call me back. Strange, possibly deflection but I agreed as possibly she may not have known the answer. So I called back to a different extension and she answered again. I asked ok so who could I speak with then. She exclaimed "geez you didn't even give me a minute," and put me on hold. Horrible customer service example one. She came back on and gave me an email to a women named Shirley and asked me to send her my order number date purchased and the item number. I went a few steps above and provided a picture of the issue as well as my invoice. No response from this Shirley person instead someone named Zora Hong from China intercepted the email and began the whole things all over. First asking for everything I already provided. In my first email I explained that I had already tried trouble shooting to see if it was something to be fixed. The next email from Zora 24 hours later was asking me to try trouble shooting from the guides provided online. I already had. The next email which was the next day asked if I really needed to be using it where it was loose and if I could cut further down. what?? No I want to use the product how it was intended. Now after pictures and asking if they will uphold there warranty a full 24 hours later they are wanting a video to send to their factory to confirm. The reason this is going on like this is because they have a 1 year warranty which I purchased on September 7 2023 it is August 19th 2024, so as you can see they are purposely dragging this on by responding to one email every 24 hours to try and go past the warranty date. My advice do not buy anything from this company as they are a complete joke. I will be contacting the BBB, attorney general, Amazon and anyone else I can. I have purchased multiple of these from them over the last 10 years but this one just did not last and all I wanted to do was get it warrantied like I should be able to. Horrible value horrible customer service and absolutely zero accountability for their customers who keep them in business.

Jeff, knew exactly the door we had. Then he explained in detail what we had on our hands and even threw in a referral to two locksmiths. I was listening to him, he explain the difference between the two referrals. the budget friendly referral is not budget friendly anymore, but over the phone we liked his customer service over the other. Jeff's expertise was flawless down to him running to his stockroom to provide us the parts. Since we were in a rush to get the job done & be back for a delivery. (new home owners) alert. Jeff is the "Aidan Gillen" of Hardware. But I sure caution: DO NOT use their budget friendly referral. That man doesn't have the expertise for these beautiful complex doors, we ended up replacing the mortis lock (+additional $350), then this budget guy took the wrong measurements of our equipment and shaved down the door tongue pin too far, the replacement cost us an additional $50 and change. Plus their service fee $225. Our business will be back, despite the locksmith experience. Have your own locksmith in hand, hell we found out a family friend is going to give us the family discount now. Just ask, we may even have neighbors who are experts that we can trade trades with. Thank you Jeff! and Huntington Hardware.
