And without the impersonal nature of somewhere like Home Depor or Lowes. They have fewer items due to its smaller size but they're always incredibly helpful in finding you the right product if they don't have it in store. And I'd like to support locally operated stores rather than national chains. The only con would be that they feel slightly understaffed right now but who isn't? They like to focus on their time with each customer. Truly I cannot recommend this business enough from the management to the staff.

Not to mention emptying the old to then fill the new. Appliance shopping is exhausting! While I wanted to shop more local than Home Depot. My kitchen had other thoughts. It had to be single door, had to be a certain size... and the only feature that was a MUST was a water dispenser. (Which with a single door fridge is hard to find.) Alas, Home Depot had it. The stainless steel fridge of my dreams... errr... or rather my kitchen's dreams. Popped online. Snagged it in my cart. Scheduled the first possible day they could deliver. (A week later.) Added that they would be taking my old hunk of junk fridge away with them. (An additional $25.) Added that they would be needing to get the water hooked up to the fridge.-- cause nobody's got time for that. (An additional $25.) Popped in my credit card info. Painless. Then the day before the delivery, I got a text telling me a window of when it would be delivered. (2-6pm. Which, let me point out that is about eight hours less of a timeframe then what my local cable company gives me when my internet is acting up.) I got email updates as they approached. I got a call when they were one stop away. Two fellas in masks came during the 2-6pm window. They had to take my front door off to get the fridge in, but man-- they were speedy! They gave me tips on cleaning it. Told me how to get the water and ice going. Put my front door back on. Took my old fridge away. BOOM. In and out in about 20 minutes. This was a painless adulting excursion, thanks Home Depot!

Bought a dryer there two weeks ago. It worked for a week and then it completely died. We had to…read moreleave out of town for a week, did some troubleshooting and discovered it was dead. I assumed 30 day returns were the norm, but apparently I was wrong. For Lowe's it's 48 hours. We loaded it back into my truck to return it. Lowe's refused to do anything. First they were rude to my wife. (Who's a sweet and respectful person). Then I went in myself because the lady just railroaded her with no options. The "customer service" staff consisted of being told they would do nothing, followed by confrontational, and then told to "Settle down" as though I had zero reason to be upset after a DOA dryer after less than 2 weeks. It was further escalated when the other "customer service" employee openly laughed and mocked me. Manager came up and was willing to work with me WHILE the "customer service" lady was mean mugging me behind him and the other one was laughing. I got my money back but I won't be coming back. Simply unbelievable rudeness. It was bad enough to basically get no help....but it was escalated by the open hostility, laughing and gaslighting.
