I LOVE harbor freight! I mean sure, not all of their stuff is going to last a lifetime or anything but they have PRETTY much anything you ever need in way of tools. The staff is always helpful and friendly and they all have the attitude that they are going to take care of the customer, PERIOD! And the prices? Went in for a Daytona Low Profile jack. Came out with a bad broken one that did not work. Don't waste your time and money go somewhere else like Home Depot or Lowe's you can get a jack for the same price. Customer service at this location was outstanding very helpful. I came in 8/24/24 to purchase a Pittsburgh 3 ton low profile Jack. During checkout, Brandi asked if I had any coupons and when I said no, suggested I look on the website. Just your typical Harbor Freight Tools store. Nothing extraordinary, but a good store to find what you are looking for. The store was organized and clean enough, considering its a harbor freight. This location has plenty of parking too. Will definitely come back when I am in the area. read more

This is a good Harbor Freight, it seems to be well-managed. The cashiers are very good about honoring all the coupons, of which there are many. The staff is helpful, assisting you in finding things in the store. It's clean and well-maintained. Good deals here! But I would be careful about what you buy.. their products are cheap for a reason, everyone knows that. But I love HF and this particular location is hands down the best. read more

Harbor Freight has two things: tools and other junk stuff. The tools are lower name brands such as Chicago Electric, Central Pneumatic, Pittsburgh and US General. These tools are good when you're in a fix, but don't expect them to last. I will say that their returns are some of the easiest I have encountered though, so if it's broken, bring it back! The coupons make it problematic to buy there, mostly because of the monthly free junk they give away. Old snowbirds will fight to the death for that free mini flashlight or pair of scissors! The lines can get very long, and if you need help with an item, good luck finding someone who works there. Overall, I guess Harbor Freight is passable for when you need a tarp, or can't find that one washer, tape measure or wrench. For things that last, spend the money on the reputable brands at the hardware store. read more

My husband and I come here all the time for supplies but today was no a very pleasant experience. The store was not busy it was practically empty. We were in search of a certain item which we could not find. After 20 mins looking around for some help we finally spotted what we needed on the very top shelf. My husband walked up to the register and asked if someone could bring it down for us. She was super nice. She paged a coworker named Steve to isle 1 where we were waiting. After 15 mins no one showed. At this point my toddler was getting restless waiting. So my husband decided to just grab it ourselves. He is 6"4 and easily grabbed what we needed and put the rest back up. As he put the box back Steve finally shows up in a very rude matter telling my husband "Don't do that ever again, that's for display only" We were shocked he spoke that way to us. We explained we've been waiting over 15 mins and he then says (again with an attitude) "I was told you were in isle 7" and proceeded to walk away. No apology nothing. Mind you we were there when she paged and she clearly said Isle 1. Also the fact it's a small store. It doesn't take 15 mins to walk to Isle 7 to Isle 1. If it wasn't for the fact we needed the item that day and for the very nice lady at the register we would not have given them our business. We won't be back again. read more

I just walked out. The curly haired cashier started to ring me up. The price that she gave me for the items I wanted to purchase didn't seem right. While I tried to ask her about it, the woman stopped to answer her cell phone. While talking on her phone and trying to talk to me as well, I went to double check the price. The woman then walked outside to talk whomever was on the phone. Apparently I wasn't worth this cashiers time. I'll be buying all my tools from Home Depot from now on. I first have to mention that this review is about Harbor Freight Tools Customer Service online or by phone, store personnel are generally helpful. This last summer I purchased a multi drawer rolling tool unit from your store in Apache Junction, AZ during a parking lot sale. The tool cart was missing a drawer and the sales person gave me a discount if I would sign-up for your Inside Track Club which I did. I went thru numerous phone calls and inquires trying to finally talk to someone which knew what part to order, it is a 4 size drawer unit but in the parts listing it only shows 3 drawer sizes. I order the drawer, order #1170920 on June 30, 2011. I was told that the order could take 6 to 8 weeks and I was willing to wait. I patiently waited for the drawer to be shipped and for someone to notify me of the progress. On Sept. 27th I received a letter stating that the drawer had arrived and that I needed to call and pay for the order. I called on Sept. 27th and was told that I would receive email conformation of my order, invoice and tracking info. I did not! I have no invoice for this transaction. The drawer arrived on Oct. 6th and it is the right size but there are no slider edges to mount the drawer. The part I mention is riveted in place on my other drawers and is in essence part of the drawer. A called HB customer service and the person said that I needed to order the mounting hardware. When I tried to state that it is hard attached on the other three drawers on my cart, they hung up on me. I have the rest of the mounting hardware for the drawer in place. How would I have known about this as being a separate piece. Also no really big deal except a lack of quality detail, the decorative edging strip on the drawer pull is also missing. I guess I should have figured to order that too. This seems to be a lack of QC control at the source and is a bad mark for Harbor Freight . I waited 3.5 months for a simple parts transaction. If I was being paid by the hour for the amount of time I have put into this tracking and ordering fiasco I could have just bought several new tool carts outright. Oh and did I mention that I sent a version of this rant to Harbor Freight Customer Service and I have never heard a thing from them. read more

So long as you have their coupons, you can get a good deal. Otherwise, their prices are not that much better than their competitors. They have a good selection of equipment. Check out was kind of a pain because a lot of the people in front of me had expired coupons and the clerk took forever sorting them out with current coupons. read more

This is my favorite store, however I work valley wide and have received the same service at every store, great selection for heavy duty or even lite duty. when I have a need for auto, HVAC or construction tools, this is the first place I go. The quality is about what I expected, but the customer service? Unfriendly to say the least. Been there several times, with different cashiers...same story. No eye contact, very curt. Once I trying to return something after waiting in a long line. Was told "Oh, I didn't realize you had a return. Just step aside" and went on to help the next guy. If I could give them ZERO stars I would!!! I have never been so embarrassed before for another customer until today when the Cashier ( I believe her name was Barbera or something of that... an older lady with glasses and grey hair and over weight kinda tall shes there seems almost everyday at least when I'am there) began yelling at a customer for a simple mistake about a coupon and made a public humiliation of the poor older customer. The customer had clearly been honestly confused about the coupon and rather than nicely explain it the cashier literally yelled at her loud enough for myself and other customers to hear clear across the room! And if that was not ridiculous enough this cashier then went on to embarrass this poor older customer when the customer said there was no need to yell at her and YES the cashier was embarrassing her. I felt i needed to say something to the other cashier as I didn't see a manager around and she acted as if this was ok saying she didn't see anything wrong with the other cashier's behavior! This rude cashier had lied to me the other day saying I absolutely had to provide my phone number to get to use a coupon the other day despite the coupon not saying anything was required of me of such! This establishment needs to talk to their EXTREMELY rude employees about their behavior! ASAP and fix their attitudes towards paying customers! read more
