He said don't worry we will take care of that and video tape that diagnose and send it to my phone and my car will be washed before we return your car. My car was diagnose the fourth day. I ask Victor did you and the mechanic drive my car first and listen to the whistling noise? He said he can't hear a thing same thing with the mechanic. I text Victor and find out the status of my car. He replied back say there has been a delay of my car part. Victor told me he will loan me a car for the third week because they mess up fixing my car. He said GM will pay for the damage. It was a leak on my car. So Mr. Rodriguez, check me out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The car was returned to me dirty in inside out. The inside of my car looks like someone ram sack my car. All the paperwork in the glove compartment was pulled out dust all over my dashboard. Mr. Rodriguez told me I should be charged for that rental car which they didn't do that. Something that the HARBOR CHEVROLET mechanic messed up and wanted to charge the customer for their bad service. This place has gone downhill fast after being bought out by an out of state company a couple years back. Super shady all around. Inquired on purchasing a new vehicle. They asked for the keys of my current vehicle to examine for a trade in. When we got to the office to discuss the new car pricing the 1st shock was they changed the price by adding $5000 to what was listed on the internet ad they had currently. I tell him I can no longer leave the car and I can come back for the service. He says I can't take my car now cuz it's all in pieces. I said I never approved of any repairs I wanted to know 3 days ago what was wrong and we can discuss moving forward. He leaves for a minute then comes back and asks again if I want to just leave the car for the engine cleaning and he will hear back about the catalytic converter. I said no I cannot. He says ok well I still owe $200 for the check up. So I said fine I'll pay it. He steps out. The porter comes in and gives me my keys so I walk outside. I had been there back in August for service (where they actually put a huge dent in my vehicle and never made it right), but the people I met then were friendly enough that I thought maybe sales would be different. I was wrong. Completely wrong. Today was a totally different story. New people, new clientele, and an entirely unfavorable, dishonest experience. 1 Star for Service / 5 Stars for Sales (Jaycob Gomez) With all the DCT problems with the C8 see picture below and my breakdown I purchased my C8 Corvette on March 8th and had an amazing buying experience thanks to Jaycob Gomez -- he deserves 5 stars. Super professional, helpful, and made everything smooth. But the service department? Complete disappointment. I had an appointment scheduled for Monday, and I wouldn't have bothered going if there wasn't a real problem. Instead of actually listening and helping, they talked to me like I was clueless -- super dismissive. The technician's explanation and the service advisor Viktor was the worst part. I highly doubt the test was conducted on Heavy traffic stop and go It felt like they were just making excuses and not taking my concern seriously at all. I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and completely let down. Buying experience: excellent. Service experience: awful. Definitely not what you expect after spending this much money on a car. there are a few concerning issues with the tech's response 1. The tech is suggesting driving technique is causing the issue by claiming you're "dragging the brake" in traffic. This is a common deflection tactic when they can't diagnose a problem. 2. The statement "vehicle not equipped with automatic transmission has dual clutch transmission" is misleading. The DCT is technically an automatic transmission (you don't manually shift with a clutch pedal), just a specific type. 3. The "could not duplicate concern" after only 18 miles of testing is inadequate, especially since DCT issues often appear intermittently or in specific conditions (like the stop-and-go traffic you mentioned) again HEAVY TRAFFIC not hauling ass at the back roads and light traffic 4. im casuing excessive heat to the dual clutch. What this means: The dealership is essentially blaming my driving technique rather than acknowledging a potential mechanical issue. how should you drive in a HEAVY TRAFFIC SITUATION STOP AND GO ? should i just step on the brakes wait like 5 car length to go ? You guys ever driven or live in LA ? sounds really dumb The "must fully release brake pedal from a stop" advice is reasonable for DCT operation, but significant shuddering is NOT normal behavior for a properly functioning C8 transmission, regardless of driving technique read more

The person who we are addressing this to is Garth Passantino and if you look at other reviews too you will see his name brought up a lot. I went in to repair a warranty issue for my 2017 Chevrolet Volt, and while they did perform the necessary work under warranty, they insisted on charging a diagnostic fee. The reason given was that a code had popped up due to low coolant. However, when I went to pick up the car, I discovered that no such code had actually appeared, and they couldn't even provide proof of the coolant code they claimed was the issue. When I questioned why I was being charged the diagnostic fee if the code wasn't even there, the service rep got visibly upset and unprofessional. He said "we already discussed this", but his explanation didn't hold up since he couldn't show me any proof of the supposed code. Instead of addressing my concerns, he said "I don't want to talk about it anymore. I'm mad that you're not going to pay." This response was shockingly unprofessional and further solidified my frustration with their service. When my dad questioned why he couldn't just top off the coolant himself, the rep said that it could not be done. He claimed the coolant was different, which was not true according to the car manual. When we pointed this out, he just kept saying we were wrong and refused to provide the correct information. He even said "I hope that the liquid is wrong so that the light comes back on and you have to come back". So unbelievable that a grown man was throwing a tantrum over me not wanting to pay for work that is completely covered under the Volts PZEV warranty. To make matters worse, when I got into my car, I found a receipt for In-N-Out that wasn't mine. The receipt was dated on the same day I dropped off my car, 4 hours after my appointment time, and it showed an order for about eight meals. This means they used my car to grab their lunch during my appointment, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. The lack of transparency, poor communication, misuse of my vehicle, and overall unprofessional conduct made this an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. For sales and parts, I have zero complaints. Those teams have been pleasant and easy to work with. If this review were solely for that, I'd give 5 stars. They are the saving grace because service would get one star. If Chris is your service advisor, you can expect zero communication, forcing you to call repeatedly to get updates. He will then neglect to read the file on your car and will just tell you whatever. I quickly learned not to trust what he said, since it was invariably wrong. I tried complaining to the service manager but had to leave a message. I never heard back. I tried again later, but only a sales manager was there and he was able to relay the information. Just to let everyone know, do not buy a used vehicle from them. In Feb of this year I bought a 2010 Nissan Frontier from them, took it for a test drive and all was good at the time. They reassured me that they've done an inspection on the vehicle and all was good and safe. So I purchased the truck believing all was good with it. So one day driving it home from work I got a Service The Vehicle Soon light on, it was the crank shaft sensor that came on so i had to get that fixed, $300 there. and again just driving there was a thud driving home and it turns out that the drivers side strut had broke because it had rusted through, $500 there. I do realize that that a used vehicle is sold "as is" and that there's no warranty. But when they tell you that the vehicle has been inspected and is good to go, you believe them. Now I'm stuck paying for a truck that I don't know if if it's going to get me back and forth to work safely each day. Then we decided to trade it in and purchase the new 2025 EV Vette. We only had 100 miles on it when the computer messed up. We took it to the shop after only 4 days, and they have attempted to reset the computer, but nothing is working (sounds like a lemon to me). We have been trying to get answers, and have been put on hold and forgotten about. This dealer is the worst, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Christopher Lopez is a bad rep for the company. I took my car for a vehicle inspection due to check engine light on/ shutting off completely(twice). I explained to chris the situation and he added things that were not truth and I never mentioned but yet, " that I said" in the paperwork. Left my car and never received an update, I had to call within the days and no answer. After picking up my car, I never received information on what they worked on my car, my car started with the same issues within a day after. Personally, It feels like they just restarted/reset the computer. I was told by a sales manager if I didn't come up on the price (the price they asked for) or purchase their paint protection or alarm that they would not sell me the car. The car had light scratches so why would I buy paint protection? We live in California alarms are annoying and ineffective so why pay for something when a $25 airtag would suffice.
