This shout out is well overdue! Lucas in the Service Department was extremely helpful and thorough! I experienced a very stressful situation after I purchased a car from a different dealership. Had it less than 6 months and long story short...it became non-operational. The dealership (not George Chevrolet) that I purchased the car from and their warranty were no help or use. Lucas stepped up to assist. He did not sugar coat the situation, but took the proper steps to assess matters and follow-up accordingly. Basically, Lucas and his team got my car working in less than a week and it was all covered by the Chevy manufacturer warranty. A special thanks to Lucas, Robert (Sales Department), the Service Department and the personable young lady that took my call to get the car towed to George Chevrolet. Now I know why my husband favors George Chevrolet for his own Chevy truck service needs! We appreciate being taken care of there! They have top notch customer service in our book. A+++ read more

If I were a huge Chevy fan I probably would have tolerated the unprofessional service my brother and I received there. I have nothing against the sales representative (I think his name was Bernie/Bernardo) he was friendly and professional... but the heavier set guy that I guess is considered the sales manager. Totally unprofessional. The fact that he wanted to make his belittling jokes towards my brother and bringing numbers without explaining, unacceptable. As a sales person, tell us what exactly we're signing for. Don't just give me a sheet of paper with numbers and expect me to understand. If I didn't have experience with purchasing my own vehicles, I would have just went with it and would have gotten screwed over. I shouldn't have to ask what the APR is, it should have been somewhere on the paper with the monthly.. then when joking asked, "where's the good guy deal" your reply is, "we're not good guys here". Embarrassing for the department. Maybe I was expecting a different "better" service because that's what I've always received at the other dealerships. We all have overwhelming days, but if that was his case, he shouldn't have been on the floor. In the end they lost a sale because of the lack of professionalism.. read more

Stopped by Chevrolet George with modest expectations, but drove away in a brand-new 2026 Chevy Trax LT thanks to Raziel, the manager who helped me through this process. I was feeling nervous and emotional due to my situation, but he took the time to listen to my concerns, treated me with kindness and worked hard to make everything happen! Thank you, Raz, for your patience, attentiveness and support throughout this entire process. I truly appreciate everything you did to help me get into my new sweet vehicle. Thank you John in the service dept for taking on my 2016 Colorado repairs, on august 4, 2026. Although I did not buy my truck there, I read the reviews on yelp and they had the best Chevrolet service dept. Prior to getting it repaired, I did not feel safe driving on the freeway because the power steering would shut down and the quick fix was to turn the truck off for five minutes then turn it back on and it was good. So I only drove it on the street. This was happening too frequent so I took it to George Chevrolet. The 2014 and 2015 Colorado had a recall for this but never on the 2016, so I decided to bring it in and pay for the fix myself. I now feel secure driving my truck on the freeway and real happy with the service, and special thanks to Andy, the service consultant for always being open, honest and easy to work with. Once again, that's a million Ana M. read more

I do not have any comments regarding a service review because I never brought my truck in for routine service. However, I can provide a review based on my truck replacement experience. My 2026 Silverado required a full engine and turbo replacement, which was confirmed by GM. Due to the severity of the issue, my understanding was that the truck should be replaced. Unfortunately, the replacement process has taken an excessive amount of time, with little urgency or clear communication. What is frustrating is the contrast in responsiveness. When I was in the process of buying a truck, I received calls almost every day. Now that I am dealing with a major manufacturer issue and waiting for a replacement, the follow-up and support have been very slow. This situation has been disappointing, especially considering the age of the vehicle and the seriousness of the repair. I expected better communication and a faster resolution read more

Avoid George Chevrolet's service department at all costs unless you want your time wasted, your car ransacked, and your legal documents compromised. On a Friday morning, I had my car towed here for a blown tire. I explicitly told the staff I had an 11:00 AM flight to catch. Instead of showing any urgency, they completely ignored me. One employee actually wasted time making jokes comparing me to a basketball player (who I look nothing like) instead of doing the paperwork. Because they dragged their feet so long before finally giving me a ride home, I completely missed my flight and had to pay to book a later one. The sketchiness started shortly after I left the dealership. Around 11:00 AM, the technician, Andy, texted a photo of my registration card to my personal cell phone to ask if it was my name (which makes no sense since my information should already be in their system.) They were clearly digging deep through my glove box the second I walked out. It gets worse. When I returned on Sunday to pick up my car, the interior was completely ransacked. Items from my glove compartment were thrown all over the cabin, my apartment gate remote was broken, and my vehicle registration card was entirely missing. When I went back inside to report that my legal documents were missing, the girl at the front desk condescendingly asked if I was sure I checked, even though I had already inspected my vehicle twice. After making me wait, she revealed Andy had wrongfully locked my registration inside his personal desk, and nobody had a key to open it. She called Andy, who promised he would personally drive it to my house on Monday. Monday came and went with zero contact, so I emailed the general manager and set up a 7:00 AM meeting with management. During that meeting, they admitted they completely lost my registration. They tried to buy me off by offering a free tire, a windshield repair, a side mirror fix, and promising to take care of a dent in my door instead of addressing the massive privacy breach. Management then promised to deliver my registration to my home. They showed up two hours late and handed me a photocopy of my registration, which is illegal to drive with in California. When I demanded the real document, they swore the official one would arrive in the mail within 5 to 7 days. They also did not fix the door dent they promised to look at, after I left my car in their possession for more than 4 hours. It has now been over a week. Absolutely nothing has arrived in the mail, nobody has followed up, and I am still being forced to drive around illegally because they permanently lost my official state documentation and tried to pass off a printed copy to hide it. An employee still has a photo of my home address on his personal phone, and management does not care. I have officially filed a police report against this establishment. They are shady, incompetent, lying, and a complete safety hazard to the community. read more

Horrible service experience with service writer Armando, little or no communication, would have to call to get updates after a week , rude and liar, when I inspected the vehicle me when completed after 2 weeks I realized the cap lid for water reservoir was broken. When I brought it to his attention he said parts has it , and expected me to pay for it, which I told em it wasn't broken when I brought it in. Finally after a conversation he walked to his manager and said he was gonna order take 2 days to arrive, this guy expected to drive the vehicle as is, so I walked to parts department nice guy employee Jerry helped me out and finally got me the part which had all along been stocked that same moment. read more

Bought my pickup here in June 22. Silverado 1500 refresh model. Fast forward four years, got my email for my retrofit for the park assist.(previous retrofit for heated seats was a 5 star experience as well). Took the truck in and was having some problems with backup lines missing, and forward collision system unavailable messages. Totally forgot I purchased an extended warranty, Lucas my service advisor pulled my data up and reminded me about the warranty. Huge nod to Lucas for that. Initial estimate was a couple days, obviously with electrical issues and software problems timing is hard to predict. In the end it was 10 business days. Although it was painful being without my pick up for 10 days, Lucas kept in contact with me through the dealership text message the entire time, feeding me updates and answering my questions as the techs sorted through the modules that they were testing and trying to diagnose. In the end, they replaced cameras and modules and reprogrammed everything not only fixing the issues I was having, but also completing the retrofit. I am so thankful for their patience and diligence. Overall I am very impressed with their service department. This is my third trip to their service department for one thing or another and every time they have taken care of me. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another vehicle here or bring any of my vehicles here for service. read more

My husband and I just purchased a new truck over the weekend, and had a wonderful experience! We were met by Oscar immediately. We told him what we were looking for, and he showed us all available models. After we found the one we were interested in, we were met by manager, Rudy. He was super friendly and patient and walked us through the entire process. We explained what our budget and expectations were, and he went above and beyond to make that happen. After having a bad experience at a previous dealership, it was nice to know that there are still some good places left. Highly recommend checking them out! read more

Went to this dealership yesterday 11/01/25 for an oil change service but ended up getting the rotation also since I used a coupon. I was assisted by Service Advisor/Consultant - Alex Viray. He promised me that my car will get done in less than 2 hours (11:30 am). There are multiple cars behind me during that time. As I was waiting, I noticed that my car hazard light is on, not sure why. Then after a few minutes, I saw that service clerk put my car on the side and had other cars behind me go first. I was surprised and I know something is not right. I observe for 15 minutes. My car is still not being worked on, still park aside, with hazard lights on 15 mins before the promised time! I approached Alex Viray and inquired why my car is not being worked on yet, he answered "It's in the shop". I pointed my car and told him that "IT'S NOT" and asked him why they set aside my car. Alex Viray answered, it will get done. This tells me that you are not monitoring the progress of your customer's car. Then there is this supervisor/lead/manager (I don't know what he is) overheard us and make a typical excuse using Saturday is busy. I always come here on Saturday and it is not like what I experienced yesterday. He looks new there for me cause I always go to this dealership for my car service needs. As soon as I pointed out my car, they took car my right away to a service bay. This a bad customer experience. I waited longer than the promised time since oil change and rotation doesn't take too long. Waiting for almost more than 2 hours is not my usual wait here for a simple car service in the past. Given what I also witnessed on how they set aside my car and do the sequence of first come first serve. When I was on the line to pay for the service, there's also one customer who mentioned they did the same thing to his car and with the same service advisor - Alex. If you ever think of coming here for a service, make sure to avoid Alex Viray. He is not good in my opinion and will not meet what he promised. Not on top of monitoring customer's car progress also. As for myself, I will never come back again to this dealership. I will go to the closest dealership for my car service needs near my place instead which I also told Alex and the other guy(supervisor/lead/manager). read more

So, this is my first time taking my car for service here. I purchased my vehicle in another chevy location. My check engine light came on with under 30,000 miles. I came here since it was the closes to my home. I made an appointment with a gentleman named Armando for 7:20am... I got there at 7:05 since I was going into work at 8am. I didn't not see the gentleman till 7:30am with coffee in hand and still asked me to wait. Told him I was already waiting for a bit. I told him needed to get going. Asked if he was able to move on with the service. He did. Later that day since I have the chevy app i checked and I seen that my car was done the same day... no check engine light on any longer but also no call or update about my car from the service department... I was the one that had to call the next morning, they asked me for the name of the person that helped me, i said Armando. The lady in the phone came back and mention that he will call me in 15mins that was getting the final paperwork done. He did not bother to take my call. This call was made at 8:30am and i did not get a call back at all all that morning... i called back at 2:11pm and now the lady mentions it was ready... why did he not call me back.. not sure. Why did he call me when it was done.. not sure either. This is not the way to treat someone. It is very unprofessional to have someone waiting then come 10mins later with a coffee in hand and then asked them to wait more... I gave attitude yes but I was never disrespected. I felt disrespected since he did not care for my time. Finally then picking up my car the car I asked to see where it was. The person that gave me the keys said to just click on my car key to check. They didn't even know. So I did and seen it was still half way on the lift. With not even a courtesy car wash. read more

Terrible experience with the Service department. I had my 2018 Malibu towed here when it died on me. The engine and turbo needed replacing, cost was $9K nine thousand dollars. Luckily we have Ally insurance and we were covered. When I go to pickup my car, I notice my tank is empty. While it wasn't full when I brought it in, it definitely wasn't empty. When I brought it up to Lucas the service rep, he did and said everything he could to NOT do anything for me. Considering they made a $9K dollar sale off my vehicle, I felt this shouldn't be a big deal. Lucas' reply was "We only drove it 10 miles, so...". After standing there in silence and realizing that he wasn't going to do anything I just left. Three days later my engine light comes on and Im getting reduced power. I take it back in, the catalytic converter needs replacing, that too is covered and replaced. Again, I go for the pickup. The service guy drives it up. I get in to see a warning on the dash menu saying my rear passenger side tire is at 6% air. I check the tire and its flat to the rim. I mention it to the valet and he drives it back to put air. I find Lucas to tell him this is unacceptable, but just like the situation with my empty gas tank, he gave ZERO FUCKS. He looked at my tires and said they needed replacing and said there is nothing he could do for me. I drove down the street to Ramirez Tire Shop and they found a piece of metal jammed into the tire causing a slow leak. They patched it and I moved on. But when the dealer drives my car and uses gas, then drives over a nail puncturing my tire and takes no responsibility for it is just unacceptable. Buyer beware! read more

vehicle here with the dash lights service monitor system check engine light also the tire pressure light was on and the transmission Chevy Silverado truck and kicking at 100,000 miles. The representative stated that it would be $265 to let me know what the issue would be but whatever the cost was that they would take out the $265 off the bill if I repaired it I said OK he paperwork and gave it to me as I was leaving my car. I looked at the estimate he had given it was $940. I went back to him and I said why would it be $940 he stated that for every concern I had it would be $260 per concern. I think that it's really unfair for Chevy to do such a thing to their customers especially it's a Chevy product that I'm driving just my thoughts so I took my vehicle back and I will never bring a vehicle back to George Chevrolet again. read more

I just wanted to put a message out there I've been dealing with Chevy for the last 10 years, purchased 4 cars already from a Chevy dealership. I'm sticking to Chevy and I went to George Chevrolet knowing I wanted a new car but undecided on what model I want, told the salesman the 3 cars I was most likely interested in by the time you know it the salesman brought one of the models I mentioned to test drive even after I told him no, they were too aggressive telling me take the car no money down just go home with it. I took the car for a test drive and didn't like it they were still insisting for me to take the car, going over the payment opinions. They were trying to force a car on me that I didn't even like, I will never go to George Chevrolet ever again, I'll continue to go to the Carson Chevrolet they're not so aggressive there and they listen when you say you don't like a car - Isidro read more

NO ! Bad experience with customer service ..... Issue has not been resolved but never order parts here again. 1 - don't have any control of their team 2 - wait is crazy 3 - they don't ask for ID to handle OEM parts 4- my parts where not ready and they said there isn't a pickup receipt on online orders When you must have a pickup receipt in case of return or just to make sure order place was picked up . Like any other business..... they don't want me to cancel my order but they want to wait till Monday to see .. who stuff gave away my parts, waist of time on my experience I will stay with my previous dealership, not coming this place ever again and I hope they cancel my order since poor customer service and head all over their place sorry but that was my experience at George Chevrolet parts . read more

0 stars if I could. Charged me $450 to tell me what I already knew. I was told by one agent that my truck was good and almost done then called back by another "Faith" saying they didn't have my number so they couldn't call me to tell me my warranty didn't cover my check engine light. Wasted my time and money. Had my truck sitting for days. Could have easily emailed me if they didn't haven't my number - which they did. Pre-owned vehicles aren't inspected right - I'm driving and my visor fell off almost causing a crash. Button for heat which never was used was stuck - they had told me everything was checked and passed inspection. Felt confident in what they told me so I didn't bother checking it for myself. huge mistake. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Called around to 20 different dealerships and the Jerry-Will tag team were the only ones who were able to guarantee me an extremely difficult to get Bolt EUV at MSRP with no dealer add-ons by placing a custom order. Day of the sale I worked with Jerry who arranged a pick-up for me. Of course he let me know about all the extended warranties they offer, but it was more of a "hey by the way" and I never felt pressured at all. Esau did all the paperwork for me and did a thorough, and - let's face it, more importantly - quick job of explaining it all to me. He even submitted my carpool lane sticker application for me, which I totally wasn't expecting. There was a delay in the original ship ETA, but that was out of control of the dealership, but all-in-all it went very smooth. Highly recommend. read more

I bought a new Tahoe today from George Cheverlot and I have to say I had the best experience I've ever had!!! I've bought several Tahoe's from multiple dealers, and today was by far The easiest and most pleasant!!! I started out my morning going to a dealership in Costa Mesa that had the vehicle I wanted online, turns out they didn't have it. So I left and called George Cheverlot. I was lucky enough that FERNANDO in sales took the call! He sent me pictures of the vehicle so I knew they had it and off I went. Walking into the showroom floor, I ran into a gentleman by the name of BRETT who happened to be the general manager. He was so kind and nice and just so friendly that I sat and chatted with him for a little bit until FERNANDO came and found me. He took me directly to the car. It was exactly what I wanted so off we went to his office where we met ALEX, who came up with pricing for me that was no runaround whatsoever, he was straight and to the point. Having done some research I knew he was honest, sincere and kind and wasn't wasting my time. Fernando was extremely knowledgeable on the car. Also helped set up the Chevy app and the OnStar programming which was difficult because I had an old email on file, so it took quite a bit of time, but he was so patient and insisted on completing the process. Long story short, I set out to bring home a new car today and thanks to the crew at George Cheverlot. It's parked in my garage. . I feel like I was treated with so much respect and kindness. It was very heartwarming because I usually don't feel that from other dealerships. I want to thank everybody there for treating me so well today, I really enjoyed the experience and I love my new car!!! And lastly JILMA in the finance department was so quick and thorough.
