Called Arbor…read moreAce for a non-emergency possible tree removal for a pin oak tree that was over 3 stories high, in between power lines, 2 sheds, a shared fence, and was starting to lift the ground around it. They gave an estimate on when, how long the job would be, and what to expect. They were able to also address all of my questions i had. At the end, we decided it was best to remove the tree. The job was finished in 3 half days (its December, so days are short now), stored and cleaned up the all the branch debris. I was expecting to come home with tree twigs everywhere the day they took down the branches and chipped the wood. I thought i would have to do some light sweeping but was surprised to not find branch/tree debris in my backyard, front yard, drive way or street. They were swift, thorough, efficient! They were able to cut the tree and grind the stump with no damage to our shared fence, sheds, or bushes around the tree. They were very friendly and courteous. They called ahead, reviewed logistics with our schedule, street cleaning, and where to park their vehicles. The last three guys were not given any instructions how to plow the driveway , which was explained to the office before the first snow fall. In addition, they spread salt on my walk way and drive way, when they were expressly told not to because of my dog, but they ignore my request and hurt my dog! The owner doesn't like his staff being told what they should do or not do. I placed snow polls, as request and they either plowed over them or ignored them in areas that the snow needed to be back bladed verses plowed. Basically they made a mess. ATLAS TREE SERVICE IS *EXCELLENT*!…read more We had been delaying having several large trees removed from our property--partly due to the exorbitant costs we were being quoted, and partly due to the enormity of the project and concern for potential damage to landscaping on our (and our neighbors') property. The job was also complicated and worrisome because the trees were among ConEd electrical lines. By chance, we had seen an Atlas Tree Service truck while driving. A quick Google search showed a 4.9 (out of 5) star rating with over 200 reviews. We called Antonio (the owner) who came over promptly. He provided a quote and to our delight, his prices were more than reasonable (by a large margin). After a week's worth of work which included trimming all the smaller trees on our property in addition to removing very large trees. Antonio and his crew left without a trace that they were here. His guys (and daughter!) were meticulous in their efforts, hard-working, efficient, professional, and pleasant. Antonio is an honorable man who is extremely experienced, easy, and pleasant to do business with. To summarize, we cannot say enough good things about Atlas Tree Services.

To get into the neighbors backyard, where the tree was located, the DuJets men needed to use my driveway for the Crane Truck, and another neighbors driveway for the Bucket Truck which carried the climbing guy. There was another Truck with a gigantic wood chipper parked along the other neighbors sidewalks. I think 6 men and 4 trucks in total. This is a very very professional team of men who quite obviously have worked on some big and difficult trees together for years, because it was like the Navy Seals rolled in, did their job precisely, cleaned up without a trace, and left quietly. They had to roll back my chain linked fence and when they finished, they put it back together more securely than it was since it was installed. Every crew member knew exactly what their job was. They communicated via helmet and head set and there wasn't one issue. Not one misstep. That's pretty amazing since our houses are so close together. I have had large trees taken down myself on other houses I lived in. I thought they did a good job. But they can't compare to these guys at all. DuJets did this job in 1/2 the time, with a very good quality crew, very good equipment and the crew got along like a professional team!!! My neighbor said they got several quotes from other businesses and all were similar. So if you are thinking about quality, efficiency, and being truely happy with the job, and not worrying about the workers yelling at each other or their chain saws breaking down, call these guys~they worth every single penny!!
