Beware if you stay here…read more Had a traumatic experience where I picked my pup up and immediately noticed she had big bite marks on her lips (pictured below) that the staff did not notice during her stay there which proves they did not give her proper attention. Then in the car back she threw up all over the car three times. Had to immediately take her to the emergency vet where they immediately flagged her for severe and deadly dehydration (see pic with her level of lethargy in the ER). So much so they had to keep her overnight on IVs and had her stay for 24 hours due to health risks. We had to stay the entire night in the emergency room with her after having extensive travels back from our trip which was taxing physically mentally emotionally as well as financially and will take us a very long time to recover from. Did little to reconcile or try to resolve the situation adequately with us. Therefore this is this warning of our experience to all who stay there.

We wanted to address the behavior early rather than let it become more established, so within about six weeks of it starting, we enrolled her in a board-and-train program. We ultimately decided to put both of our Aussies through separate programs: both females, one five years old and the other about a year and a half. The difference has been night and day. Both dogs now have reliable recall, walk calmly on leash, and for the first time, we feel genuinely confident having them off leash. They no longer react to wildlife or other dogs on hikes, the fence running and excessive barking have stopped, and they can calmly sit with us at outdoor cafes and other dog-friendly public spaces. The "place" command has been especially valuable. They can settle calmly for extended periods, which has been a true game changer both at home and when we're out with them. Most importantly, both dogs seem more confident because they understand what is expected of them. My husband and I are also much more consistent and aligned in how we communicate with them and provide the structure they need to be successful. We've enjoyed continuing to work with them every day and building on the foundation Juliet provided. The overall atmosphere in our home is noticeably calmer, more harmonious, and far less frustrating for both us and the dogs. Juliet has also continued to follow up and check in to make sure the dogs are doing well, which is something you don't always see once a training program is finished. It's a tangible sign that she genuinely cares about the dogs' long-term success, and it has reinforced for us that this was absolutely the right investment for our family.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. They've accommodated my special requests, like boarding my two dogs together but feeding them separately.On my last vacation they even called to let me know one of my dogs was having digestive issues & could they give her a little pumpkin. What awesome customer service. They also have special drop off & pickup times on Sundays, even tho they're closed. Plus you can watch your pet on Web Cams. They checked in on our cats, made sure everything was taken care of, and sent updates that made it clear our little furballs were living their best lives while we were gone. He absolutely loves her walks and tummy scratches; he tells us in specific woofing patterns while she is around. Dexter also loves one of Danyell's traveling companions, Sno. Their visits are the highlights of his days at home. Like most people it isn't easy to trust your pet and home to someone new, but Danyell's consultation made us feel at ease...and our lives have been so much easier because we trusted her and Zoologie. I'd recommend Zoologie to anyone in Northwest Denver/Highlands, who needs a Dog Walker or Pet Sitter. When there is a random day where she is sick or cannot make it, she always has a backup walker planned. I never, ever feel out of the loop and that is the most valuable part of our relationship. I would NEVER entrust Soshi (or Princess Xochitl as she calls herself), to be in care of my four…read morepets ever again, and would caution anyone considering doing so. Soshi was paid ahead of time and committed to coming for eight visits while I was out of town over an extended weekend. Come to find out at the end of my trip, that Soshi had opted to NOT show up for THREE of the visits she was supposed to come for and LIED about doing so. Beyond that, and more devastating, she left my dogs confined in the house, without relief or care for over 24 HOURS. It seems Soshi was naïve or clueless in thinking that all of her actions were not trackable through the security system. On February 10th, she entered my home at 8:19AM and didn't return until the next day, on February 11th, at 8:28AM. It's beyond heartbreaking, thinking about my poor dogs and what they were enduring during this time. On the day before, which she again chose to skip (February 9th), they were restricted in the house for a span of 14+ hours on two occasions. Now going back, she was texting me that she was 'on her way', but never entered the house and never took care of my pets that were trapped inside all day. I trusted Soshi being in my home and had her in my house on occasions prior to this. There were blunders with her back in August, where she clogged my toilet and had the cops sent to the house, from not disarming the alarm. I should have known better then and had verified she was actually coming when she said she was. In a clear reflection of her lack professionalism, Soshi continued to be deceitful about the situation along with being combative. Her indifference and carelessness is completely unfathomable. Her actions were not only neglectful, but boarding on abusive. How a woman like her is claiming to run a legitimate "Pet Sitting" business, yet lacks any compassion, is alarming. I just hope to save others from enduring a traumatic situation such as this.
