Our dog Olive started going to City Bark about a month ago and always has such an amazing time. Every time we pick her up she is smiling from ear to ear and is so tired and happy. When we pull into the parking lot in the mornings she perks up because she is so excited to go play with her friends. All of the staff members are so kind, knowledgeable and helpful but, we would like to particularly thank Leela (hope I spelt it right). When Olive was out sick for 2 weeks and ran out her promotion days she so gratuitously extended us for the days we were unable to attend. She calls promptly with any issues that might be going on so we can make sure everything is always okay with our baby girl. Overall we are so happy we found City Bark and not to mention the HOURS! My fiancée and I are both nurse so it is very helpful that City Bark opens before we need to be at work and closes after we get off! We love bringing Olive here and think the photos can attest for how much she loves it too read more

I've been taking my dog Moose to City Bark for over 3 years now, and it's definitely time I leave a review to show how grateful I am to all the staff for taking great care of him! He is not the easiest dog but they are so patient with him and love him so much. He's so happy to go in every time, which is especially impressive because he usually has separation anxiety when he's away from me. I know some of the other reviews are mixed, but I want to say every dog daycare has its issues, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. It's not the "nicest" looking place, but I've taken Moose to fancier daycares where he was just stressed out, and I did not like how the staff treated him. I love City Bark's staff because they go out of their way to get to know each and every dog, and I just couldn't be more impressed with how they've taken care of Moose and how much they love him. He's collectively spent months of his life there since I travel so much, and I always love to look on the webcam and see him getting love. I also love how communicative they are - they have a text line and are so responsive which I appreciate. I can't imagine taking Moose anyplace else! read more

I started bringing my 4 month old puppy to City Bark in Denver at the 8th Ave location. The staff is so caring to my girl and allow me to have a break while I am working. I know that she is always so well taken care of and having the best day at City Bark. read more

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE THINKING OF LEAVING YOUR CAT HERE: I am not someone who leaves 1 star reviews loosely. This was well earned by this facility. It is clear their "cat boarding" service is a tacked on addition to the facility for extra money, with little care put into the system. Short Summary: No one here cares, it was clear every question I asked was met with a lie to placate me. These ladies are putting in little effort and organization towards taking care of LIVES. My cat was wet, his coat was dirty, and his blanket was stolen by one of the workers. I paid for 2 playtimes , an Enrichment Service, and daily images and updates. I received 1 set of images, 1 update, and no one could accurately tell me Who did the Enrichment/Playtime or What it even was. This felt like a ripoff and I worried for my cat's wellbeing after. Please do not take your cats here, they will be a complete afterthought handled by people who do not care, and your belongings might get stolen like mine did. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CAT HERE. Denver has other and way better options! Full Story: I left my cat here over the weekend while I went out of town. When I organized his stay, I was told I would receive daily updates about him and an image or two daily. Over the course of 4 days, I only received 3 images, taken on the first day, and one "report", which was clearly a copy pasted paragraph where they inserted his name. I could not get another official report, update, or image on him again after the first day, which left me very worried. When I dropped him off, I asked to see where he was kept, the women working clearly did not like that idea, which was a red flag. I saw the messiness of the back facilities but was willing to overlook it as I was leaving on a plane soon after, my mistake. The cats are kept in Animal Pound style small cages or kennels if you are feeling generous. They sleep with their litter box and presumably their food bowls too. The cat's belongings are strewn about the halls and stuffed into different rooms. I left my cat with his favorite toys, water , food, and a hand-sewn blanket my girlfriend gave to me for my cat. This has extreme sentimental value. The blanket was completely "missing" when I came to pick him up. There was no record of the blanket existing on any laundry records, and no one could find it. I even went back to the facilities again to look for it, and then I learned that my cat was moved to a different kennel, the reason for which was not clear. Everything I was told felt like an excuse or made up story. No one could confirm anything. This place gave me a rotten feeling in my stomach. Owning my first cat from the ktiten stage has made me feel like a parent. I realize you can feel when something wrong has happened to your pet, you have paternal instincts. Mine were going off like alarm bells. He was soaking wet and I was told he "knocked over a mop bucket during Enrichment." No one could tell me who, when, where, or what Enrichment was, yet he was still wet from the supposed activity. This was just extremely shady. I feel like they either hosed him down or he spilled his water and no one cared to dry him off. Just an awful, rotten feeling thinking I betrayed my cat and let him stay here. I am truly sorry to him and as such I WILL NOT be leaving him here again. read more

UPDATE: After I left my review they did eventually get back to me and refund me for the stay. They also offered to replace the ruined dog bed but despite several emails and follow ups they have ignored us on that front. What a great groomer! but proceed with caution re boarding your pup here. My pup contracted kennel cough despite supposedly being barred from fratinizing with other doggos. Not sure how she contracted this she is vaccinated and not allowed around other dogs. they stated they clean 3 times per day. still even dog nose to nose contact can spread the respiratory disease. I thought I did everything to keep my pup safe - private room brought my own bedding and food. now my pup is battling this virus and not allowed to be around other dogs for 3 months. maybe they need to wear gloves. the vet was in full hazmat gear when she treated my pup. so scared. felt I had to tell my story. read more

We got referred to City Bark by a fellow pet parent. It is convenient and close to our home. But that is not the reason that we take our precious baby there. The staff is always friendly, it is clean, and the groomer Hope is the best. When we mention Hope's name our pup gets really excited! We have been to several other groomers, but none are comparable to service and price. Dave and Julie Garnett read more

The dog is fine but here are the issues. They were incredibly hard to reach via phone. On numerous occasions I had to call multiple times for several hours before getting a response. I would see the employees talking in a room on one of the dog cameras, but no one picked up the phone. Additionally, they don't offer after-hour puck up as a service which every other daycare I've used had. Reasonably priced, but not satisfied with the customer service. read more

Do NOT board your dogs here, especially if they are on any medication!! We boarded our pup here over the holidays, and came back to a complete disaster. Our dog is on medication, which we made clear when dropping him off, and they did not give him the medication during the duration of his stay. I counted the pills AND they admitted to me in their records that it had not been recorded correctly which is why it was not administered. He came back to us in terrible condition and we now had to take him to the vet and incur astronomical fees because of this carelessness on the part of City Bark. He also came back with a huge sore on his lip, and no one at City Bark mentioned anything to us about it. And not only that, but we sent a family member to pick him up and they gave us the wrong bed and blanket and failed to give us his medicine. I went back the following morning to swap and pick up the rest of his items (including his medication) and they were unbelievably disorganized. His medication was just left out on a counter. His blanket was with a different dogs bed, and his bed was nowhere to be found. Once they found his bed, they gave it to me wet, rancid smelling, covered in another dogs fur, and it had a large chew hole in it (and I know my dog would never chew his bed - he's 6 and never has even tried and has been boarded with it multiple times). This was a $300 bed that we did not expect to come back in this condition, especially being used by other dogs. And on a small note, we gave them brand new toys to give him during his stay, and they returned them to us without a single bite mark - they had never given them to him! One initial red flag - I called to check in on him on his second day there (since he's on medication I just want to make sure he was doing okay!) and the girl on the phone was rude and literally laughed in my face for asking how my dog was doing. She then just said "oh yeah he's doing great" in a sarcastic voice and rushed me off the phone. For over $70 per night we expected the basic needs of our pet to be met, which they clearly weren't. I would never recommend this place to ANYONE and will certainly be taking my dog elsewhere in the future. I've tried to resolve this with them directly, and keep being told they need a manager to review it and they would call me back. I followed up multiple times and finally got through to the manager who said another manager needs to be involved and they'd call me back, again I never heard from them. This is not a place that cares about dogs or the service they provide. read more

We are so happy to have found City Bark for our pup, Wally. We started taking him here once a week when he was just over four months to give him a break from staying at home all day. The staff was very helpful and suggested he start with just half days of play since he was young. As he got older, we took him more often when needed and ended up buying a package to save a bit of money. The staff does a good job of getting to know you and your dog and they knew our names within the first few visits. Wally started off in "Smalls" when he was a puppy, and they've slowly and carefully transitioned him into the larger dog group, also known as "Bigs". They always give me a run-down of how his day was, who he played with, if he ate all his lunch, took a swim, etc. It really does feel like a very personal experience, even though they are watching a lot of dogs. We've used City Bark for boarding as well, and have never had any issues. Something to note is that your dog must be dropped off before 5 PM on the day their reservation begins. Boarding is also a completely customizable experience. You can choose type of room (standard, suite, inside/outside), amount of play time, if they receive a bed time treat, etc. We usually do a half day of play time every day Wally is in boarding, but also leave it in their hands should he need more or less. The facility is clean and welcoming. The lobby is large and has cameras so you can see all the rooms. I love that you can also watch these cameras online! They feature a "Dog of the Month" behind the counter, which is adorable. There is also food and toys available for purchase. Dogs have access to indoor play rooms, outdoor potty areas, outdoor play areas and the pool. I want to go to doggy daycare! The only bummer about daycare is that Wally doesn't always come home smelling the best, but with the amount of hair he has and his knack for laying on the floor and rolling around, it's bound to happen - no stars off for that, more just a heads up. They do offer baths though, so if your pup is there for a while, you can take advantage of that. The staff cleans up accidents quickly which is great. I would highly recommend City Bark on 8th Avenue to anyone looking for a fun experience for their pup during the day or while they're away. The staff is attentive, facility is great and Wally always comes home tired and ready to eat and sleep. read more

City Bark Denver - Two paws up from this pup! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

My dog is dead. It took my other two dogs 2 and 5 weeks to recover from the negligence they experienced while under City Bark's care. The staff didn't medicate our three dogs the majority of the time of their 5 day visit. One was left in her kennel dying alone. I didn't receive a phone call to alert me that she was not doing well. Upon our return we took her immediately to the emergency room but it was too late. My heart is broken and all they can offer is a refund and shitty promise they're working on it. read more

Awful communication, and my pet never even stayed with them. I requested a reservation for boarding my cat for the holidays, months in advance. It turned out that a friend could watch my cat, so I went to cancel my reservation. Their representative told me that I never had a reservation, even though I received an email that said "you're all set!" from them after submitting my reservation request. I brought this up while texting the representative and they ghosted me. If I didn't have alternative care arranged, I would've been up a creek without a paddle for holiday travel. With this experience plus the other reviews here, I absolutely would not trust City Bark to care for my animals. read more

I just want to start this by saying that I'm not the kind of guy who leaves negative reviews on places, even when they absolutely deserve it, but in this case, I feel obligated to warn others about it. I've actually even left a positive review of this place in the past, but clearly, some things have changed since my dogs last stay. I put my dog in boarding for 9 nights here. He's 8 years old but still has the energy of a puppy. He is not fixed, so he had to be in segregated boarding. He was in absolute perfect health when I dropped him off and loving life, full of energy. When I picked him up, he's was a completely different dog. Anxious, depressed, scared. What could have happened in 9 days to make him act this way?? The first thing the girl said to me when i walked in to pick him up was, "Oh, his butthole looks a lot better than earlier. It was bleeding and inflamed all week." It was encrusted with feces and blood upon my arrival, and It is still red and inflamed now 6 days later and certainly was not beforehand. If you knew my dog was injured and bleeding, why did I not get a call? Why did he not get treated? They didn't even attempt to address the issue. He is 11 lbs lighter than he was when I dropped him off. 11 pounds lost in a week?! He had sores all over his stomach from laying on what I can only assume was a urine and feces covered floor. His nose was completely dried, scabbing, and bleeding. Again, there was no call from the facility to inform me of this. He has peed inside every day since picking him up, which he never did even as a puppy. If you even slightly raise your hand around him, he now cowers as if he was physically abused while he was there. When I leave for work now, he shakes and cries as if he's afraid to be alone. It's not something he has EVER done before. Did my dog get food or water while he was there? How can he be so severely dehydrated that his skin is coming off in pieces? How can he be so malnourished that he lost 11 lbs in 9 days?? Sure, there is some separation anxiety and stress for animals when in an unfamiliar environment and without their owners, but hes been there before without issue! I feel as if he was just thrown in a cage and forgotten about for 9 days, and it makes me sick that he had to go through that. I paid $600 (including a $50 tip!) to have my dog neglected, mistreated, malnourished, left by himself, and possibly physically abused. I will likely pay even more in vet bills. It is absolutely disgusting that a place like this can be allowed to exist. Please, if you have an animal that you love, do not entrust this place with their wellbeing. They should be shut down! Judging by the reviews, this is not the first time they have gravely mistreated animals, and commen sense says it will not be the last. Please do not allow your pet to go through what mine did. read more

I wanted to give it some time for them to call me back or respond to my email or voicemails but no one has so I guess they don't care at all about you or your pet. I took my 5 month old puppy here for an evaluation and I really liked the girls there and he seemed to like the place so I took him back for his first free day of daycare. I tried to call to make a reservation but no one picked up the phone- this should have been my first red flag. When I get there, the girl there apologized and said she was the only person there and again my fault for assuming that she was the first shift and more folks would come in as the day went on. I checked the cameras a few times and there did seem to be more employees, and he looked like he was having fun so I didn't worry too much. At drop off, I was assured he would only be in his age group (6 months and under). Later in the day I checked cameras again and I noticed a few times there was ZERO humans in one of their outdoor areas. I gave them a call- no one picked up. But my pup wasn't in that area so I assumed he was safe somewhere else, with other puppies so again, I brushed it off. When I went to pick him up, I noticed a scrape on his leg but didn't think too much of it- puppies get hurt all the time. I get home and realize his leg is actually punctured and bleeding and when I gave him a full inspection, I find 2 other scrapes on his side and another on one of his hind legs. At this point, I am LIVID. I asked when picking up how the day went and no one mentioned to me that he clearly got into an altercation with another dog and then it made more sense to me that no one could have seen it if there were times that not every single dog was supervised. Upon further research I find out a dog actually DIED in their care in October 2020; 2 were severely attacked and 1 ended up dying while staff wasted time figuring out what to do rather than tend to the animals and alert the owners properly: https://kdvr.com/news/local/city-bark-denver-under-investigation-after-deadly-dog-attack/ It was said that the staff "failed to separate small from large dogs" but even if that was the case, one can only assume that there was NO ONE WATCHING to let an attack go on long enough to the point of death. My puppy is fine thankfully but I have felt so guilty ever since I brought him there and I am disgusted at the ignorance and neglect they seem to have for the pets they are supposed to be caring for. I am annoyed at the way they have treated me but I am fcking pissed at what happened to my puppy there and I strongly advise you to look elsewhere if you care at all about your pets. read more

Terrible Service and even worse communication Please sort and read reviews by date because as you can see, this place has gone way down hill and a lot of my concerns were also voiced by other customers. We used to love City Bark, not anymore!! I took my dog here a few weeks ago. Upon dropping her off, the lady at the front desk was friendly and acknowledged all my concerns. I paid for overnight boarding with the upgraded gold package which was supposed to include the following: full day daycare, treat, daily photo, extra potty walk, late checkout until 7 p.m My husband was watching the doggy day care cameras and barely saw our dog on camera, even though we paid for the full day. We also never got our photo. I asked the front desk person, Aaron, about this when we picked our dog up. His response was "We had a lot of dogs this weekend, we will send you the photo by the end of the day". He also couldn't even find my dog at first to return her to me. He came back out from the back and asked which dog "HE" was. He didn't even know what the gender of the dog he was looking for! He also tried to charge me over $90 for a night of boarding when I was quoted $66 for the gold package. I had no update as to how her behavior was or her stay at all. She also smelled like she had a bath, which we didn't pay for, which makes me wonder why she needed a bath... She had an upset stomach when we dropped her off and I'm convinced she needed a bath because they let her sit in a cage in her own mess. I never actually got my photo and called back asking to speak with management. Aaron continued to make excuses. I explained it's not about getting the photo, it's about knowing my dog was well taken care of and getting the extras I paid for. They wouldn't provide literally the one thing I could verify, so I have very little confidence she got the extra treat or potty walk (see my note above about the bath...). I've tried calling several times and am at the point where I feel my calls are being screened. I've left several messages and no one ever even picks up the phone, let alone returns my messages. Completely unprofessional. I recently got an email that said all services must be pre-reserved. This makes sense to me now. They were taking on WAY more dogs than they could care for. But it's too little too late for me. City Bark definitely lost a customer. We were scheduled for a $200 stay this past weekend and switched to Rover, where I got loads of photos and updates for $75 less and she got a lot more individual attention and love. Edit to add -- you can see by their response they still aren't offering to fix the situation. I paid for services I never received. Great business practices! read more

Beware of boarding your dog here!! I boarded my dog here as a last resort as I needed to travel last minute. When I picked my dog up, he couldn't walk. He was so injured during play he was unable to walk from the facility to the car. I needed to carry him to go outside for the bathroom the next day. Additionally, I sent him with antibiotic medications for an infection and they never administered his MEDICATION. This resulted in further infection as well as an additional vet visit. They sent him home with all his medications as well as his food (which made me concerned he wasn't fed as well). They also did not give him his nightly chews that I requested and lost his blanket. I called city bark weekly for two months without a response from the manager. The front desk kept apologizing that no was was getting back to me and that the manager had been refusing to call me back. I finally asked for the phone number of the branch owner. When connected with him, he tried brushing it off as a minor problem and kept encouraging me to "try another stay" with city bark. Months after this stay, my dog still struggles with anxiety he did not display before his stay with city bark. He even has been prescribed anxiety medication- which he never needed before his stay. read more

Love, love, love this place!! They have been a second home away from home for our 3 fur babies for several years. The staff truly love the dogs and it shows how much every time I ask, "who wants to go to daycare?". They get so excited to go, I know they are happy there. One of my babies is very special needs and she is always a happy puppy when I pick them up. They are always tired after I pick them up. This mom can get dinner and some other stuff done around the house while they nap. Thank you City Bark staff for loving them and making them have a GREAT visit EVERY TIME!! I will gladly recommend this second home for love and awesome care to anyone! read more

I really wanted to like this place. I was referred over here by a coworker, then saw this place linked to my vet's website. My coworker ended up not taking her dog there anymore because her dog would "get a bath" after his daycare, then come back dirtier than when she dropped him off. I decided to try them out after seeing some reviews and how cool their facility was. I could not have had a worse drop off experience this morning. I walked in and let them know it was our first day, needing some direction on checking in. The lady working the front said "write your name down" then left the room. We waited there while she helped 3 other people who walked in.. to which she then looked at my wondering why I was still standing there. I asked what to do with his food and she rudely told me to just leave it, and grabbed my puppy and took him back. I waited until she came back out to let her know I was new and wasn't sure how the process worked, to which she responded, "ok", then kept working. I was so disgruntled I almost went back and grabbed my 4 month old puppy. I relaxed a bit more as I paid $1.99 to watch my puppy on an app they give you access to during the day. When I picked him up it seemed like he had a good day, but that doesn't make up for the unprofessionalism I experienced. I will be taking my dog back to Dog-topia, where they value their customer **Editing this review to 5 stars. City Bark's manager reached out to me to follow up on my experience. They took care of this situation with their customer service and made sure I was able to come back and have a better experience. Murphy has been at City Bark 3 times since then and they are ECSTATIC when we come in the door! read more

My dog has been coming here since a puppy she is familiar with the friendly staff and she is always very excited to go.

My husband and I were moving from NY to CA and decided to do a cross country road trip so we could have some adventures with our dog, Charlie. Denver was the 6th city of 10+ that we visited over 3 weeks. I had a positive experience with City Bark--the staff was super helpful and friendly. I had really great hopes for this place. I boarded my two frenchies together since they are not spayed/neutered. I saw great reviews and photos. My dogs were taken in for a temperament test but I wasn't offered a tour of the place as a new customer, which I thought was weird since I'm handing over my dogs. I logged on to watch their playtime through the cameras and was underwhelmed by the "play area". Just basically a small room indoors. I understand they had to be away from other dogs Bc they aren't fixed. But just a PSA, if you're boarding dogs that are still intact, don't expect something amazing. I added a bath to my package and when I picked them up, I could tell they were groomed which was great. But my dog turned around and had poop all over his butt. I had to ask for a dog wipe before I could let him in the car. This confuses me because I'm thinking he must've gone in his board room and it seemed like it wasn't being monitored at all. Then I get home and look at my girl and see she came into heat... with blood obviously dripping from her. I asked while I was there if there were any notes on how they behaved and what not and was told nothing besides how great they were. I'm just confused how this wasn't seen by anyone caring for them or to where they at least notice blood on the floor. I would've appreciated a call. To wrap it all up, my dogs have been extremely sick since I picked them up. Still to this day & they tested positive for Giardia. Won't be returning but I appreciated the kind staff I met on the day I brought them in for the their temperament test. Best of luck read more

Won't be coming back here. I booked an online grooming appointment and got an email confirmation for 8:30 AM. I showed up and was told that the groomer wasn't in that day. They knew that I had scheduled an appointment but rather than calling or email me to explain the mix-up they just waited until I drove over there to inform me. The person behind the counter didn't seem to know the groomer's schedule or how to read the scheduling book. If they'd let me know ahead of time, I would've understood and tried them again. But won't be going back. read more

Does this place need another five star review? Probably not - but take my advice, this is the best of the best! My dog absolutely loved this place when I lived in the area...and now I'm pretty pissed that I can't find anything comparable in my new location. When I went there the first time I was pretty hesitant - knowing that my dog is ok around other dogs, but likes people better - I wasn't sure whether he would enjoy it. But he did! I never used the doggie daycare portion - or let me rephrase that - my main usage was for boarding (and the doggie daycare was included in the package). I remember one time that I picked up my dog and I could see that his fur was wet. I know I didn't request a bath/groom so I asked about that. They told me that he had been swimming and they just brought them back in. I said "What?!?!?!" I have a lab/great dane mix and I swear he's allergic to water. Anytime I bathe him, it's like his death is imminent. So when I heard he went swimming I was impressed. He was panting like he just had lots of fun and was excited to see me. Then I also remember one time one of the other pup parents accidentally took my pup's leash - and I didn't have one. They apologized and provided me another one for free, which was awesome. I've also used the groomer - they did an excellent job. I know it doesn't take much to groom a lab/great dane, but he was smelling so fresh and lovely when he was done. My only main concern - you pay for what you get. This is not the cheapest establishment, and I remember going out of town for an extended period - and coming back to a bill that was quite high. But I was ok with that knowing that my pup was in good hands. And one last thing - I love, absolutely love that they have doggie cams. When I was out of state I would just check on my pup on their website. Loved that! So when I make my way back home to Denver, I will make sure to use them again. Arrrgh it irritates me so much that I can't find this in my current city!!!! read more

I'm so excited that we found City Bark for our pup! Thanks Yelpers! We'd been kenneling & taking him to day care at a PetSmart, but started noticing that every time we picked him up - he'd practically run outside to go pee. It really made me feel bad like he wasn't getting as many potty outings as he should've been. I also felt like it was really expensive that for what you were getting. Anyway, enter City Bark! We brought him in for his interview, which I'm sure he barely passed (he's a 1.5 year old lab that loves EVERYTHING and naturally has boatloads of energy), but passed he did! We bring him here now for day care outings maybe once a week or once every other week and he always comes back happy and exhausted! I also love that they have a pool for them to swim when it's warmer outside. We'll be sending the dog and cat for their first overnight visits with City Bar over Christmas and I feel confident they are in great hands! PS - the kitty kennels supposedly have fish bowl walls for the cats to play with all day! read more

We have 3 pets. Abby the choco lab. Bosco the 110 lb mut puppy. Jackson the cat-dog. Abby grows freakishly long nails. We get "looks" from other pet owners anytime they notice said nails. It's really not our fault... She just has abnormal hormones or something. It's true. Anyways, we take Abby and Bosco to the City Bark to have their nails trimmed regularly. Deannan is the resident nail trimmer and she is FANTASTIC! Both dogs do so well when they're there. No bleeding after the trimmings and upon leaving, both Abby and Bosco are still wagging their tales. It only costs $8 per trimming appointment and our dogs are always so much happier when they get home. I highly recommend this place, especially if you've also received afore mentioned "looks". read more

We are on a road trip from California. Brought our standard poodle with us (obviously). We want to go see the Avalanche game tonight and realized our dog does not do well in the hotel room by himself (even in the kennel). City Bark took Alfie with open arms for the night. We even have our own human grade dog food that needs warming up. They don't mind at all. Just emailed them his vaccination records and good to go! They are also extremely fair priced and offer plenty of services such as grooming. Some of their housing even has TVs for the pups. Izzy helped us and was extremely accommodating and understanding. Thanks City Bark and Izzy! You guys rock! read more

I was visiting from out of town so I needed someone for doggie daycare while I went skiing. I dropped my dog off in the morning and picked her up later in the afternoon. All the staff I interacted with were really friendly and seemed to have a genuine love for animals. Bonnie (my dog) was a little uncertain the first day she stayed there, but the second day she ran right into the back room when they called her. I was a little hurt she didn't look back to say goodbye, but on the other hand I knew she was going to have a fun day. The place is pretty clean. When I picked her up, she smelled like roses . .but she also didn't have dirty paws. read more

I've been getting my dog groomed here for awhile, and Raelyn does an amazing job. This is the only place I will take my dog. Highly recommend!! read more

City Bark Denver - I love going to city bark! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

First time here and we will return on our next visit! Can't into Denver for a couple days and our girls seemed happy and well taken care of. The employees seem like they really enjoy being around animals. I felt like our dogs were safe and engaged! read more

I've taken my dog Hula here four or five times now. It really pleases me that she seems excited to be there. I suppose nothing speaks for a dog boarding facility like the dogs themselves. I've never seen my dog eager to be left anywhere except at City Bark. She must get a lot of love from the staff! The facility is clean, prices fair and the staff is helpful and approachable. The play areas the dogs have access to are very nice. I highly recommend you try them out. The place is a little hard to find if you are not using GPS, as it is almost tucked under the 8th ave overpass. Consult a map. :) read more

I feel like my old review is in need of an update, I was extremely impressed with the reaction to my last review. In the week following the review back in August, I was contact by the owner of the City Bark locations. She mentioned she had read the review and wanted to know any other concerns I had. She apologized, expressed her concerns, and invited us to bring Bowser back a time in the future to try them again. The personal outreach and concern was much appreciated, and we did end up taking Bowser back a few weeks later, only to find that we were very pleased with the time he spent there, and now we are frequent users (not TOO frequent though! we still love us the Bowser), and Bowser could not be happier to go back behind the counter when we get him there. Grade A service on the outreach to us, and you've certainly earned back a consistent customer. Thank you for the fantastic service! See you again soon. read more

I can't believe I've waited so long so long to give the much deserved praises to City Bark! I started taking my Marley here years ago for overnight boarding, until we moved out of state. But when we moved back to CO, I came right back to City Bark. Even though we were living further away, this place was worth the extra drive. Marley loves it, and I have never received anything but the best, friendly service from the staff! They go out of their way to give exceptional service and provide great feedback about how the stay went. I recently adopted a new puppy, Floyd, who just spent a couple days at City Bark. I was a little nervous leaving him, as he's so young, but he was well taken care of (and happily tired out). It's great having a place to take my pups that I completely trust! read more

What was once a great place has truly gone down hill fast. First off, they do not answer the phone. Secondly, their "new" online reservation system is a joke. I've lost money in my account. I tried to make a reservation for 4 days out. NO RESPONSE. It's ridiculous that the reservation system doesn't know if they are fully booked or not. TERRIBLE service. The staff is always perplexed. Do not waste a dime funding these people. They don't care about you or your pet. read more
