Cat people know the anxiety is real. If you've ever left town and immediately wondered, "Are the cats plotting revenge or are they okay?" then you get it. We used Denver Pro Pet Sitting while we were on vacation and it was an absolute lifesaver. They checked in on our cats, made sure everything was taken care of, and sent updates that made it clear our little furballs were living their best lives while we were gone. Reliable, communicative, and clearly people who genuinely care about animals. It's such a relief knowing your pets are in good hands instead of just hoping the automatic feeder doesn't become their new enemy. 10/10 would trust them with our cats again. Pretty sure the cats didn't even miss us. read more

Denver Pro Pet Sitting deserves all the praise in the world! First, they have great communication with multiple ways to communicate with your sitter. You can text, email, or respond in the portal. The sitters give you great detail on your pets bathroom and eating habits and medications. They also provide lots and lots of pictures! I was unfortunate enough to have an emergency while on vacation with no way to get home quickly or call anyone. Nelson and my sitter were absolutely amazing in handling the situation with urgency, care, and communicated with me the best they could given my limited availability. I hope I never have another emergency when I'm gone, but if I do, it's Denver Pro Pet Sitting I want taking care of my pets. Finally, they do their best to assign the same sitter every time. I really love seeing my sitter comment on my dog's health improvements since previous visits and makes me feel like they genuinely care about my pets and their well being. read more

I had read their positive reviews before hiring them to take care of my boy cats. They didn't disappoint me ! I am out of town quite a bit and hate to leave my cats in my condo. But with Denver Pro pet sitting, I don't have to be worried about my cats. Their excellent and creative ways of communication and daily updates are terrific. Their portal is also terrific for scheduling or changing schedules. I really do appreciate that they care a lot of about fur family members. Highly recommended! read more

I have only incredible things to say about Denver Pro Pet Sitting! I reached out to Nelson after I was let down by multiple Rover dog sitters. I wanted someone that was kind, honest and treated my dog well. Nelson answered all my questions and paired me up with Julia. She has since been watching my dog on a weekly basis for months. She's responsive, consistent and I know my dog is in good hands, unlike with Rover. It's been great working with both Julia and Nelson and I highly recommend them for any pet needs! read more

If I could give more stars, I would :) Newly moved to CO, we had to start over again to find a vet & pet sitting services. The time came when we needed to be away for a few days and I started my research. A lot of sitting services were already fully booked for the holidays, and I was so lucky Denver Pro Pet Sitting had availability for us. It started with a phone consult - they reached out and called me and we discussed our needs & pricing. Then they sent out a sitter to do a meet & greet. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they try their best to book the same sitter each time (during the current booking we had for 3 days & for future needs as well) so our cats would be familiar with the sitter & the sitter with our house. Jasmine is our wonderful sitter and was so polite. She did a great job looking after our 2 cats and I adored her detailed daily updates & photos. I can't wait to use this service again for future trips. Thank you guys! read more

We had an amazing experience with Denver Pro Pet Sitting! We were going out of town for the holidays and we needed someone to look after our cat Pepper. She is diabetic so she needs to be fed and medicated twice a day. Bradley was prompt with his visit times (we have a ring doorbell so we know when people come and go) and spent a full 30 minutes with Pepper each visit! He sent the best pictures of her and made sure to give thorough updates each day. We will absolutely use Denver Pro Pet Sitting again and highly recommend them! read more

Hands down, best pet sitting service we've had over many years and many locations across the country. They take phenomenal care of our dog, provide detailed (and v. funny) updates and pictures, bring in packages, and respond quickly to any messages from us. We also use them for home stays when we go out of town and can rest assured that our home and fur baby is in great hands. read more

Denver Pro Pet Sitting does it again!! Had to give an updated review with another five stars because fur pawrents definitely need to know about this place! I absolutely hate leaving my cats home alone and it has often stopped my boyfriend and I from taking vacations together (yes, I'm that crazy of a cat mom). I get extreme anxiety worrying about them when we are gone so I try to make sure we don't have to do it often. But when we do, I fully trust Nelson and the Pet Sitting team to take good care of Fred and Marlin. This time, we needed someone to watch the kids (cats) for three days. We didn't know that we would both be gone until the last minute (literally two days before we left) and Nelson was still able to accommodate us. He made the visits for the whole three days and as always, we got reassuring and detailed updates after every visit! My younger cat, Marlin, is pretty terrified of anyone other than me or my boyfriend so he hid from Nelson during the visits, but Nelson still went out of his way to get pictures of Marlin (behind the washer/dryer) to send to us. We really appreciated the effort and we're happy we still got pictures of Marlin even though he was in hiding. Once again, super easy process for everything, including making a payment through the portal! read more

We had a pet emergency & called Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Although we ended up using someone else, I was impressed with Nelson's quick response & willingness to help, especially since we weren't established customers. Will definitely call them again. read more

I've been using Denver Pro Pet Sitting for over a year for my kitty, they are the absolute best! I always feel safe and secure leaving my kitty in their hands when I travel, whether it's for a few days or for an extended trip. There are so many amazing things I could say about Denver pro pet sitting. Finding a pet sitter for our fur babies is so scary and nerve racking but Nelson made me feel so comfortable. He is amazing and my pets are taken care of so well when we are gone. I love the detailed notes and pictures he sends while watching them. If you are looking for someone to watch your pets you are in good hands with Denver pro pet sitting I highly recommend them. read more

So grateful for the incredible care they provided my cat! Loved the daily pictures and email about the visit. Would highly recommend.

From camping at Sequoia National Park and hiking amongst giants to driving to LA and meeting our ridiculously adorable niece for the very first time to eating a bunch of craft burgers and getting gourmet cupcakes out of an ACM (ATM for cupcakes), we had an absolutely amazing time on our recent trip to California! Generally, I would never be able to pinpoint my favorite part of our vacation but this time is different. This time we enlisted the help of Denver Pro Pet Sitting to take care of our boys while we were away. From my first conversation with Nelson, I knew that Denver Pro Pet Sitting was exactly what we needed. We discussed my cats' needs while we were away which included administering an oral medication to my 5 month old kitten as well as giving him multiple medicated baths. I was able to create an online profile for both cats with their individual photos, descriptions, feeding instructions, health details, etc and also download an app for easy access to scheduling, invoices, visit status updates/notes (which include photos) and even GPS tracking (which would be useful for tracking dog walks.) We scheduled a meet and greet with Danny, who would be Bruce and Bronson's caregiver for the duration of our trip, and hit it off immediately. We discussed everything that I included in the boys' online profiles to confirm that all bases were covered. He even offered to get the mail! Danny treated our boys as if they were his own. We got text and email updates after every visit that included multiple photos and, from what it looked like, the boys really enjoyed him being there. We didn't worry once. THAT was the best part of our vacation -- the peace of mind. Danny and Denver Pro Pet Sitting exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be more grateful! We're already planning our next trip and couldn't imagine using anyone else. Thanks guys! read more

These guys are WONDERFUL. They had immediate great rapport with our kitties. The kitties love them and are pleased to see them when they show up. They send us updates showing the cats are well-fed and cared for. They obviously love what they're doing and care about the animals they're taking care of. The cats are always healthy and well-fed when we get home. They keep the litter boxes clean and the cats fed and played with. We're currently stuck in Colorado Springs during Snowpocalypse 2019. A quick text to Nelson late late late last night letting him know we wouldn't be able to get home last night got a quick response saying he would stop by first thing in the morning and feed them, and there was a status update while we had breakfast showing our tiny friends getting food and love that CODOT kept us from providing ourselves. Danny has also been out for us multiple times and is also amazing with the cats. We've used them when we went out of town on a half-dozen trips or so and cannot imagine using anyone else at this point. They are wonderful. They are absolutely worth every penny of their very reasonable fees. Maybe the best thing I can say about them: our tiny friends are happier when we come if Denver Pro Pet Setting has been taking care of them than any other pet sitter who's ever cared for them. We cannot imagine hiring anyone else at this point. read more

I am blown away by Denver Pro Pet Sitting!! 10/10 would recommend! I am so glad I decided to go with Denver Pro Pet Sitting to take care of my kitty Walter. The attention to detail and care was exceptional. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and confident that your pet will be safe and sound at home while you are away. They start off with a home visit and make sure it is a right fit. Then while you are away they send you a report for each scheduled visit with an update of care and lots of pictures!! Danny and Nelson have made me so happy with the care they have provided! I will use them over and over again! Thank you!! read more

We have cats. Have tried boarding but one is special meds needs and high anxiety and nearly had to be put down after failure to thrive. Tried a different referral home visit but they were problematic and impatient. Kelli and Mariah came to our rescue. We got daily text on visit updates and within 1 day they had our anxious cat purring and playing. They respected the animals needs and cared for them as if their own. They were prompt and handled the meds. Payment was easy online and questions were answered promptly. Cost was far less than boarding with vet for pets with special med requirements. Very pleased read more

We were new to Denver and looking for a sitter for our blind cat - we actually screened a few other companies and were feeling a bit hesitant with everyone....until we met Jasmine with Denver Pro Pet Sitting! She was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. Extremely competent and professional, so warm and intuitive with our little guy, excellent communication and incredible photos. Scheduling was a breeze, even when I needed to make some changes a week prior to leaving. Our first trip was a long one, and I was so, so, so grateful to leave our cat (and house!) in her hands. read more

I am thoroughly displeased at my experience. I submitted the online contact form on Tuesday after business hours. I then called on my lunch and upon hearing that the webform is the best way to receive a response and that a response would be given within one business day, did not leave a message. I called and left a message on Thursday when there was no contact. I again called on Friday and left a message stating I would be posting about my experience. Finally got a response via email 10 minutes after. If the business is thriving this much, update your message to give a realistic turnaround time. ESPECIALLY when you are approaching holidays and have people who have animals with extra need that makes finding a care service that much harder. No longer interested in utilizing UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER FEEDBACK: I know many small business owners, so I am *very* aware of how much work and hustle is involved. However, when a response is given three business days later (Wednesday to Friday) AND only comes via email (not a phone call) after threat of posting about the experience does not equate to a good first impression. And first impressions are all you have. The next small business I tried called me back same day when their owner was recovering from surgery. They were absolutely fabulous and the opposite of my experience here, so I stand by my rating. read more

One more five star rating for Denver Pro Pet Sitting! I moved to Denver in the second week of November and had to leave town on Wednesday for Thanksgiving. The one person I knew in town had agreed to cat sit for me, but cancelled at the last minute. So Tuesday afternoon, I hit up Yelp for answers and I find rave reviews for Denver Pro and send them an e-mail. They respond within a few hours and schedule a phone call for later that night (they were willing to talk at 9pm to accommodate both of our schedules). They were booked solid for Thanksgiving weekend, but squeezed me in anyway. When I mentioned that my cat gets along better with men, they accommodated that as well, even though it was far less convenient for them. They waived their meet and greet requirement when I explained my situation. Nelson was great on the phone and talked about his cats, so I knew I was leaving my cat in good hands. I was able to provide all the information he would need on their app and they sent me daily updates via the app as well. I got texts/ within app notifications each day when the visit started as well as detailed messages about how the visit went and photos of my cat. They brought some packages in for me and they left my cat's food and litter areas really clean, going as far as washing his serving spoon. These are clearly people who understand the relationships we have with our pets and they are working with a really easy-to-use, non-glitchy app. I never leave Yelp reviews, but they did such a great job that I really want to spread the word! read more

I owe Diane from Denver Pro Pet Sitting! She helped out with a home emergency while checking in on my cat this past weekend. Had we not hired her to stop by, the damage would've been much greater. Within 12 hours of leaving town, my basement flooded. Poor Diane discovered the water and took action immediately. She tuned off the main water valve, along with the washer/dryer, moved some things off the floor, and unplugged what she could before calling me with the bad news. She also made sure our cat was doing ok, and shut her in our bedroom with all the necessities. We were going to have strangers coming through that day and it was safer to keep her in one contained area. Diane even checked in throughout the day while we contacted a plumber and a clean up crew for the following day. She totally didn't have to, but she clearly cares and it showed. "Normal" pet sitter visits are not usually this dramatic. Diane's come by and taken care of our cat before and does a great job with that part too. She feeds the cat, cleans out her litterbox, gives her some treats, and even snaps a photo or two to add to text message updates. Standard pet sitting stuff, handled like a pro. I have and will continue to recommend Denver Pro Pet Sitting. Diane saved our butts this weekend and we'll continue to have her look after our cat, once our basement isn't flooded anymore :) read more

If you are looking for a dog walker I highly recommend finding someone else in the area. I can't speak to their pet sitting services, but our experience with their dog walking services has been overwhelmingly negative. They largely don't deliver on the services you pay them for and their communication is unreliable. One day my work schedule changed and it was to late to cancel our walk so I took the opportunity to run some errands while the dog walker came. I got back early and found the dog walker Jade sitting in her car for 20 minutes after she messaged saying she arrived for her visit. She went inside, walked our dog for less than 10 minutes and then spent the remainder of the time going back to sitting in her car. We paid them for an hour long walk. Additionally we made it clear multiple times we weren't comfortable having anyone walk our dog who we haven't met and saw how they interacted with him first. And with no notice one day I looked on our ring camera to find a stranger standing in our living room. Their services are not worth the money or the unreliability. read more

Denver Pro Pet Sitting has been walking my dog, Abbot, for the last few months, while I am at work. Denver Pro Pet Sitting - Thanks for walking me, Nelson! - Dog Walkers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

I recently used Denver Pro Pet Sitting for the first time while I went on vacation. I was really scared to leave my pets, but their daily service includes feeding/water, litter, and playing along with sending daily updates and photos of your pets. This really made me feel more secure about going out of town. Amy took great care of my pets and seemed as if they were happy and and having fun with her. Nelson, the owner was really communicative, nice, and runs his business professionally. I believe he and Amy went above and beyond and at an affordable price. I'm more than happy to use them again. read more

I can't say enough Great things about Denver Pro Pet Sitting! I have used their services on multiple occasions, most recently, my honeymoon, in which we were gone for eleven days. Nelson, Rachel and Nancy, all did such a good job and were extremely thorough in all their updates. Each visit they would send photos of our kitties and a summary of their visit. It truly gave me a peace of mind knowing that my kitties were in Good hands. Also, you can tell that they really take pride in taking care of your beloved pets; from play time, to cleaning the litter and feeding them "dinner time", while also respecting your house wishes (we don't wear shoes in the house). I will definitely be using them, ongoing, for all my travels away from home. Best service Ever Highly recommended! read more

I am not always one to enjoy reading long drawn out reviews so i will try to bullet point a few things that made these guys OUTSTANDING to work with. Short background : my dog has never been in a kennel and when my husband and i travel out of the country usually our friends are gracious to taken care of her and our cat. This time, we had a last minute schedule change with a friend who had to leave town 2 days before we would be back. This was over memorial day weekend. Contacted them just a week out : 1.Nelson replied SO fast. AND AGREED TO ACCOMMODATE US so last minute EVEN THOUGH we were just outside their normal service area. 2. meet and greet was set up with Rachel who would be watching them. 3. They have a fabulous portal through which you upload all info about your pets including detailed feeding or medical etc instructions 4. they will text and send a message on the portal after each visit to assure you how it went and that your pets are ok. 5. they wanted to get a message from us that we arrived back safely so they could be sure the pets would be ok (amazing) Overall this is the very first time using any pet sitting service and i literally could not be happier. Would suggest them to anyone for outstanding service, friendliness and genuine caring for animals! Thanks guys :) read more

We were out of town for 5 days over Christmas, and Kayla was amazing and put our minds at ease by watching our 2 cats. This was our first time using a pet sitting service and we definitely will use Denver Pro again when we need to. Kayla was great from the beginning during our meet and greet. I could tell she cared and enjoys pet sitting!! Can't thank you enough! The reports you receive after the visits are really nice to have as well as all the picture updates! read more

I absolutely love the care my kitties receive while I'm away! I've always been stressed when I have to leave my pets alone, but since finding Denver Pro Pet Sitting I've been able to know for sure that they're being very well treated. Jasmine has been so reliable and helpful every time I've needed to go out of town, and sends the most thoughtful and detailed updates with lots of pictures that I greatly appreciate seeing! My cats need some specific care instructions with medications and restricted diets, and Jasmine follows everything meticulously. They're always in a great mood when I come back home and I can tell they really enjoy their visits with all the playtime and cuddles they get. The app is also great to use, it makes booking easy and I like that I can see all the updates and easily message while I'm away. There's been a couple of times when I needed last minute bookings or to extend my trip, and the staff has always been helpful and accommodating. Can't recommend enough! read more

I've been using Denver Pro Pet Sitting for a few months now, and they are fantastic! My little dog is blind and has to be crated during the day while I'm at work, so they come out and walk him every afternoon for me. They are so kind and patient with him, and always go out of their way to make sure he gets his favorite treats. They also provide really fun updates via text/email with pictures of my little buddy on his walk, and let me know how many treats he gobbled and that he did his business like a good boy. I 100% recommend them! read more

Danny and Nelson are an absolute joy to work with and have taken absolutely flawless care of our kitties on several occasions. Even my rather anxious and shy boy cat took to Danny instantly. His detailed, thoughtful daily updates and pictures always make it a bit easier to be away from our pets. When we had trouble getting home due to weather one time, Danny kept checking in with me and assured me that our kitties would be well taken care of in case we didn't get in that day. The whole team I spoke to always seemed like wonderful, caring people who genuinely love pets. We never once had a single issue, and we always came home to happy, healthy, clean cats. Sadly, we just moved out of Denver Pro's service area, and I know I'm going to struggle to find pet sitters this great elsewhere. I can't recommend these guys enough. read more

I have had a nice experience with Denver Pro Pet Sitting. I have used their services for about a year now. So far, my experience with Denver Pro Pet Sitting has been excellent. Nelson R has been very helpful, very effective and efficient in communicating with me re: the initial meet and greet consult, scheduling our service dates, explaining the services provided and fees charged etc. We just met Stephanie R this morning who will be taking care or our cat while we are away and she has similarly been fantastic. Our consult was very thorough and well documented--we received a fully detailed report of our conversation, agreed upon schedule, what to expect with each service date etc. Their service also has an online portal and notifies us with text and email updates following each interaction we have with them. Let's just say I am "that" CRAZY dog owner. My dog is my #1 - I worry about her 24 hours a day and basically do not trust her with anyone. When my long-time pet sitter moved to Kansas, I was in quite the panic...I didn't know what I was going to do. I found Denver Pro Pet Sitting online and with a flutter in my heart, and while biting my nails, decided to give them a try. Well, I have nothing but great things to say about them! All of the walkers who have come to take my sweet Ruby out on her walks have been very nice, professional, on time, and reliable. I've even had the pleasure of having Nelson (the owner) and Jasmine (the initial contact/admin) take Ruby walking. They all write a nice report about the walk and include adorable pictures with it. They've been careful about following detailed instructions on feeding Ruby. It's clear that they are all caring people who love animals. I would definitely recommend Denver Pro Pet SItting! read more

Absolutely wonderful and reliable service! My wife and I were leaving town for two weeks and needed someone to watch our 3 cats. We have always asked friends to stop by for short stints out of town, but this was a longer vacation. So we did our research and met with Nelson, and he did not disappoint! He was accommodating to our requests and always communicated each of his visits with pictures and updates of our pets. We found Nelson & Denver Pro Pet Sitting when we were in a bind for our Christmas trip back east - our usual (now former!) pet sitter was suddenly not available and our backup was out of town and neighbors were also scarce. I was afraid that we were too late to engage a new sitter, but Nelson responded to my request quickly, made room in his schedule for the next 8 days, and came over for a meet and greet. It was clear that he was a cat person - he spent a lot of time here, letting our two cats get to know him. While we were gone, we got daily email updates and photos - such a treat! It was clear that our two boys - who can be very shy - fell in love with him and the care he gave. We highly recommend Nelson! read more
