Incredible experience. These folks are the real deal. We actually had car trouble on the way to drop off our cat. Unbelievably, their whole team came out and helped us with our car! They had incredible patience and understanding, but they were also assertive in getting things done. Our cat loved her experience at Evergreen Cat Lodge. She is normally a fussier older cat, but every time we watched her in the webcam she looked so happy. It was such a nice touch from the staff to provide us a webcam link so we could always check in on our girl while we were away for vacation. Our cat had an accident at one point. The staff at Evergreen Cat Lodge handled it professionally and with total assertion. This is a no-nonsense operation. Your cat couldn't be in better hands. I was able to relax throughout my entire vacation knowing my cat was getting the best attention. I highly recommend these kind folks. I'll be using their services every time I'm out of town now. read more

Evergreen Cat Lodge - Pet Boarding Near Me - Evergreen, Colorado

This review is long over due! The Evergreen Cat Lodge is absolutely amazing and staffed by folks that truly care about your kitties! We reached out to the Evergreen Cat Lodge when we were in a need of a place to board our precious kitty during our wedding. At the time our kitty had undergone unexpected surgery and was on strict ground rest. The Evergeen Cat Lodge was amazing and came up with a solution to provide our little guy excellent care while facilitating his special needs. We are extremely thankful for the Evergreen Cat Lodge and for the help and care they provided during this difficult time. We boarded both of our cats again over Christmas and had a wonderful experience. The staff is kind and caring and works so hard to meet your cat's special needs. The facilities are one of a kind and very clean. I love being able to check in on them through the web cameras! I can't recommend the Evergreen Cat Lodge enough! When our babies are there we know they are in great hands! read more

Needed to add some more photos of my cat here! It was such a wonderful experience! They took the best care of my kitty. read more

I read the reviews and they are so true, I met Jen for a tour and she was awesome,I explained my kitty diet requirements (basically Royal Canin Gastro wet food) and they totally understood and took care of it, I left my baby "Fenway" for 9 days in a VIP room that was HUGE compared to other places that were 2'x2'x3' for more money. I will no doubt put my baby in this awesome cat hotel every time I travel. If you do not believe me or the reviews ask for a tour and you will believe!!! After 9 days my baby cme home perfect and acted liked nothing changed. Susan the owner met me and tolerated my Bostonian attitude ;) I am in love with this place and im not ashamed to say it. read more

We boarded our 2 cats here a few months ago. We were extremely happy with this place, from the service to the kitty camera in their suite. It was very reassuring to keep an eye on our cats while we were away. Highly recommend Evergreen Cat Lodge. read more

In early 2020 I started what was supposed to be a 4 month trip. As we all know Covid-19 hit, and I ended up staying in the Southern Hemisphere for 20 months. Susan and Mike helped me so much, after 6 months of being at the lodge they helped me find someone to foster my cats for another 14 months. I am so grateful for their help, I have met lovely new people who love cats and I feel so safe and secure leaving my cats with them. I have been using the cat lodge for around 8 years and they do a wonderful job. It is a lovely setting and they are lovely people, I can't say enough about them or the lodge. 5 stars all the way!! read more

In a not so original twist based on all the other reviews, I *LOVE* Evergreen Cat Lodge -- almost as much as Emerson, my big-personality fur baby, does. Susan and Mike are the kindest, most wonderful people. They could tell that I was a little nervous about leaving him for ten days (probably more so than Emerson was!) and talked me through what to expect in the first few days and let me spend as much time with him before I left. Well! I was ridiculous to have worried. Emerson loved his time at Evergreen (which I could see for myself, thanks to their wonderful webcams). He napped in the windows, strutted around, and gleefully pestered everyone for attention who came in to his room. When I came to pick him up, I think he was a little disappointed to go! Other great perks: they are so flexible at working with you on pickup and drop-off times; it's really quite affordable (less than what I pay to have a cat sitter visit twice a day when I'm on shorter trips); the cats get wonderful mountain landscape views; and the lodge is full of other free-wheeling cats and kittens that you get to meet when you visit! I honestly can't say enough good things about it -- except that I *highly* recommend this as the #1 place to board your cat! read more

After an absolutely horrible experience with the owner and operator Susan who was extremely rude, belittling and unprofessional. I walked up with a mask she continued to yell "SIX FEET SIX FEET" as I was well over 9ft away from her. We just toured the cat lodge for the first time today and instantly booked three stays between October and next April. We have a special medical needs kitty and I've been so worried about traveling and where to board him. I am SO relieved to be leaving our kitties in a place we can feel good about (no cages, and the owners will administer meds for us). There's lots of little kittens available for adoption there as well. Did I mention the wild turkeys outside the kitties can watch from their room windows? We saw 6 of them while touring! read more

I highly recommend Evergreen Cat Lodge & cannot say enough wonderful things about it! They were able to fit us in for an extended stay last minute. I'm so grateful that my kitten was not stuck in a small cage/kennel for a couple of weeks while we had to be gone. We received regular updates from Noel, and our kitten was happy as can be after we picked her up. We even had a webcam where we could check in to see how she was doing throughout her stay. I truly believe your cat is loved and cared for while staying here. This would be the only place I would board my cat. 5 star service!! read more

Lets face it... few things in life are perfect. Michael Jordan, for all of his amazing feats on the basketball court, was a compulsive gambler. HOWEVER, I can honestly say that Evergreen Cat Lodge is one of the finest run businesses I've ever encountered. My cat, Angie is 15... yet you'd never know because she's spry and as vociferous as it gets! Flying from NYC to Denver to sign a lease, I was incredibly apprehensive about leaving her for 2 full weeks with these strangers. Fortunately, all apprehension disappeared as soon as I got to their location. The entire place is beautiful. Each cat gets their own (amazing) private room. The property is in the mountains with nature all around with several windows and window sills for the cats to watch all sorts of interesting wild animals run by. Across from her room (window doors so she can see everything) was a little play pen full of tiny kittens. When I spoke with them over the phone, they said she'd watch them all day... she found them so interesting! Angie had her litter changed twice a day ( love you, Angie, but I don't even do that!) and was visited 5 times a day! For a cat with abandonment issues, this was crucial. I would call every day or so just to check on her and both Mike and the woman who worked their were always such a joy to talk to on the phone! Best yet, they sent Angie back to my apartment once I got in, in their cat taxi (cute!) and she was settled in no time! I really couldn't recommend these guys enough. A+ business with first class employees. read more

We just boarded our cats here for the first time. My recommendation is to try Evergreen Cat Lodge out. Sue is very knowledgeable and the whole process was very well organized and clear. We rented the cat web cams (highly recommend) for each room which gave us a wonderful piece of mind while we were away. The cats loved the window boxes and the glass doors so they could see other boarders as well. The staff were wonderful during the stay and the transition to home was so smooth. Typically the my cats are really anxious when home after boarding, hide for a day or so and there was nothing like that. They seemed relaxed, well rested and just stepped out of the carriers. The best thing is that there are only cats boarded here so no barking dogs to scare them or to be put in cage enclosures that do not feel like home. I would def bring them again and board them here if needed. read more

We have had several people tell us that the advantage to owning a cat is that you can leave the cat at home and have people just drop by and take care of the food. Our cat from day 1 made it clear that leaving her by herself at night would be incredibly stressful. She also has a med to take and we decided that we needed to board her somewhere that felt more like a home than a cage and would get her medication. Evergreen has fit the bill. This was our second time boarding at Evergreen and this experience was even better than our first which was great. Our cat had a lovely spot with three window boxes where she could sit and watch outdoors. The glass door entry into each room allows the cats to also view the in-house activity as well without worrying about physically encountering other cats if that is an issue. Our cat obviously enjoyed being in the area where the kittens get to roam freely and we suspect would glance into the doors at boarding cats. Our cat came home even more eager to spend time looking out the windows and we think missing the kittens because she would continuously go to our backdoor-also a large glass door with little meows. Does this mean we need to get her a kitten? We would strongly recommend getting the camera. It gave us great peace of mind to check in on our cat to see that she was very comfortable. At home, she sleeps in one of four places and we could see that she made use of four different places in her room to sleep when she wasn't busy. It felt like home. read more

I only trust a handful of people with my kitties (they are my family after all!), and Evergreen Cat Lodge delivered. They were friendly and kind on the phone and were accommodating with helping to find the best options for the girls. I went with a deluxe room, so they could have a window looking outside and paid a small extra fee per day to have a webcam. The litter box seemed to be cleaned regularly and the folks checked in on the cat rooms multiple times a day from what I could tell. They fed the cats according to my instructions and made sure they were taken care of. If I ever have to board the cats again, I'd take them back here. I was very pleased. It's clear they love cats and take cat boarding seriously. I'd recommend this place. read more

Owner/caretaker is wonderful and so friendly. Our cats loved this place. Very spacious!! The website even has a webcam so you can watch your cat. Brilliant! read more

The staff here goes way above and beyond what a usual pet boarding business will do, to make sure your pets are happy, healthy, and comfortable. We have boarded our two cats here a few times. One of them has special medication needs, and Susan was very patient in building trust with our cat until she was able to deliver the meds with ease. We got regular phone and text updates to keep our minds at ease. Highly recommended! read more

This is the place for any cat owner who is concerned about boarding their cat(s). We were moving and selling our home, so we had no choice. We went by for a visit, got a very comforting feeling from the place and signed our four cats up for a three week stay. We ended up having to board them for seven weeks; and it was in large part due to how caring the staff was and how comfortable our cats were that made that decision easier. Because we missed our cats, we went by to visit nearly every day. So I had ample opportunity to view the owners and staff at work, and can say they provide a lot of TLC to all their guests. By the end, they knew our cats as well as we did, evidence of how much time they spent with them. We ended up flying our cats to our new home, and there were a lot of instructions to follow. We hired a separate service to oversee their travel including pickup from the Lodge and transportation to DIA. The owners went above and beyond to make sure every detail was addressed...which prompted the transporter to comment how unusual and impressive it was to see someone have cats so well prepared for travel. From start to finish, they thought of everything. read more

Most curious as to when these facility photos were taken. I was assured of good care when I made the reservation. When I dropped my cat off for a 4-day stay, the place was reeking of urine (too late to change travel plans). It was obvious when I picked her up, she was traumatized. Nice folks but cat care is adequate. Grade: C read more

The owners are delightful and went out of the way to accommodate our crazy travel schedule. The place is great, clean and has a great vibe. Price is right, rooms are spacious, cozy, well lit and comfy. There's no smell anywhere. My cats were very happy during their stay. I was able to check them out with their web cam service (super cool) at all times. I was able to enjoy my trip, knowing that my babies were safe and happy under Susan's care. They have a customer for life! read more

The best place to board your cat. I loved taking my cat there. I loved the the individual rooms with pot belly stoves and well ventilated litter boxes. It truly has a mountain lodge feel to it and the care my cat received was top notch. No place like that here in Texas and I miss having a great place like the Evergreen Cat Lodge to take her. Have had to resort to flying my sister out to stay with cat whenever I go on vacation to ensure my cat gets same care as what she received there. read more

Called early in a year to make a reservation for August. Lady on a phone told us that we should come check out the place first and did not take our reservation over the phone. Drove there for 45 minutes in June with our infant son. When we showed up at the lodge the owner was rude and did not even want to let us in saying that "it's only by appointment, didn't you see the road sign? You can come back between 12 and 6 (it was around 9:30 am and we drove all the way from Centennial) I don't have time for you because I am taking care of the cats". We tried to explain that we can't be driving for hours with our little son and that we called earlier in a year and there was no mentioning that we have to make an appointment and she responded "I would never say that" implying that we were lying. At the end it turns out they no longer have availability. They might take good care of the cats but they definitely don't care about people. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend. Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from, perhaps from repeat customers because we were very upset by how we were treated. read more

The Evergreen Cat Lodge is by far the coolest boarding facility we've ever seen, we love the little rooms with the human sized furniture, it gives everything such a cozy feel. Our cats are so much happier staying here than anywhere we've ever taken them. We know this for a fact thanks to the amazing webcams that let us keep on eye on them wherever we are in the world! We feel so lucky to have the Evergreen Cat Lodge in our community, they have always taken great care of us and our furry friends. We would recommend them to anyone! read more

This place is fantastic. We drove to the cat lodge from Denver to adopt a cat they were fostering. I never expected to find a luxurious resort for cats. It's spacious and very very clean. They have dozens of cats in that house and you can't smell a litter box or any other offensive odor. The cats are so spoiled in their fancy suits w/ fireplaces, big glass windows and best food money can buy. I never thought I would consider driving that far to board my cats. But now that I've seen the time and care the owners put into the clients I would never leave my cats anywhere else. You would expect to pay a fortune for this kind of care but they're the same price as my vet. Check it out for yourself. They welcomed letting us explore the facility and will welcome you. read more

Gotta love this place. An entire room for your cat (or family of cats) and personal attention. Our cat gets better care here than she does at home (do you clean your cat's litter box twice a day?). The price is right, especially considering the tiny cubby-hole your cat will (not) enjoy at a typical kennel. The owners are a delight and will accommodate odd schedules as well. read more

It does not get better for your kitty than Evergreen Cat Lodge. Whenever I have to leave town I feel like giving my cat my plane ticket and staying at Evergreen Cat Lodge myself. Who can ask for more? Your kitty has their own room with great views, comfy chairs and beds, clean, clean, clean and Susan and Mike are first rate kitty caretakers. Another big piece of mind is that they are always on the premises so anything that would come up they are always prepared for. Susan emails you updates on how your kitty is feeling and what they are doing. You cannot beat the service or the price. When I come to pick up my cat, she is usually very happy watching the outdoor wildlife on her kitty sill and gives me that look as if to say - "I need a few more days here if you please". This place is the best. Thank you Susan and Mike!!! read more

It's a great feeling to be on vacation or a business trip and know your kitties are being taken of by someone who loves and knows cats. We recently returned from a two week vacation and while we were gone, I missed our two kitties but I never once worried about them. Susan and Mike are just the best and we look forward to going there to pick up or drop off our cats and to see if they have any new foster kittens we can hold and play with. I have recommended the Evergreen Cat Lodge to my friends and they, too, have had their expectations exceeded! read more

Susan and the Evergreen Cat Lodge were the perfect solution for my cat. I cant thank her enough for taking such great care of my cat and giving him such a wonderful home for the two weeks I was gone. Last time I left town I used another "Kitty condo" kennel and my cat was miserable, got sick because he was so miserable. This time he was great and enjoyed the view out the window. Thanks Susan for always emailing me back and keeping me worry free. read more

The only reason I am giving them 5 stars is that its not possible to give more! I had to board 2 cats for 3 weeks while having work done at my house and after reading the other positive reviews I decided to try Evergreen Cat Lodge. The owners are wonderful and my cats were well carried for and happy when I picked them up. The cam is a wonderful thing to check in and make sure they were doing ok. And they were very accommodating for visits. Honestly, if you need to board your cat this is the place. read more

We are hooked! On the lodge and the owners! You can tell they love cats. We did not worry about our cats at all while we were gone because we knew they were in a homey and loving environment. In other places we worried quite a bit. We are telling everyone we know who has cats about Evergreen Cat Lodge. My sister-in-law is jealous..............she wants to stay there...........forget the cats! Linda & Bob read more

This place is AWESOME! I so worry about my cats and they are no angels!!! One is cantankerous, and that's a kind way of putting it. Susan put up with him and babied them both and let them stay in a room together. That's right, they had their own lovely room with a cedar chest neatly hiding a litter box with a carpet cover, a carpet covered bench, a scratching post, a cat bed, bowls for the food I brought and water. Further, when I showed up with their filthy cages (I had just driven them Boston to Denver), Susan even offered to keep the cage and clean them and she even washed the towels! My babies were totally pampered. I even think she undercharged me. She took the time to email me about their care while I was away (moving my stuff) which did a lot to ease my mind. I was terrified, never having left them at any place, even the vets, before. They were well cared for and I feel confident that should I need a boarder again, I will definitely go to Evergreen. read more
