He absolutely loves her walks and tummy scratches; he tells us in specific woofing patterns while she is around. Dexter also loves one of Danyell's traveling companions, Sno. Their visits are the highlights of his days at home. Like most people it isn't easy to trust your pet and home to someone new, but Danyell's consultation made us feel at ease...and our lives have been so much easier because we trusted her and Zoologie. I'd recommend Zoologie to anyone in Northwest Denver/Highlands, who needs a Dog Walker or Pet Sitter. She leaves me a daily report card of the times she visited as well as the pup's temperament and what they did with their time together. When I am a space cadet and forget I have a day off, Danyell is always flexible with my schedule...never making me feel bad for cancelling randomly or switching days. When there is a random day where she is sick or cannot make it, she always has a backup walker planned. I never, ever feel out of the loop and that is the most valuable part of our relationship. Mike did a very professional consultation with me and got me up and running in no time. He has helped me out of countless binds from getting stuck at work and needing a last minute walk to helping me have someone stay in my home with my pup while I was out of town. He is always super helpful no matter the question. I also love how you receive an email when he gets to your house and then another email with a note about how the walk went. They are fun to receive during work (I forward the funny ones where Rufio poops more than two times to my mom and sister ) and are also great when your pup is under the weather and at home alone. My dog tends to be a bit of a pain when it comes to weather and Mike is always great with that. If Rufio refuses to walk in the rain or snow Mike will bring him out and then stay and play with him for the rest of the time. Mike also helped give me referrals for dog trainers! I seriously could not say more about Mike and his service. Rufio loves him and I am so glad I was sent to RSP! It has made life with a crazy work schedule so much easier and I always have peace of mind that Rufio is taken care of and happy to see his buddy Mike!

Our vet recommended Juliet and The Loyal Hound when our younger female Australian Shepherd began…read moreshowing some concerning behaviors, including deep growling at the vet, fence running, and resource guarding. We wanted to address the behavior early rather than let it become more established, so within about six weeks of it starting, we enrolled her in a board-and-train program. We ultimately decided to put both of our Aussies through separate programs: both females, one five years old and the other about a year and a half. The difference has been night and day. Both dogs now have reliable recall, walk calmly on leash, and for the first time, we feel genuinely confident having them off leash. They no longer react to wildlife or other dogs on hikes, the fence running and excessive barking have stopped, and they can calmly sit with us at outdoor cafes and other dog-friendly public spaces. The "place" command has been especially valuable. They can settle calmly for extended periods, which has been a true game changer both at home and when we're out with them. Most importantly, both dogs seem more confident because they understand what is expected of them. My husband and I are also much more consistent and aligned in how we communicate with them and provide the structure they need to be successful. We've enjoyed continuing to work with them every day and building on the foundation Juliet provided. The overall atmosphere in our home is noticeably calmer, more harmonious, and far less frustrating for both us and the dogs. Juliet has also continued to follow up and check in to make sure the dogs are doing well, which is something you don't always see once a training program is finished. It's a tangible sign that she genuinely cares about the dogs' long-term success, and it has reinforced for us that this was absolutely the right investment for our family.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go.
