We began using them for daycare, to socialize our guys while we were at work. then we began boarding them there - I think the longest stay was days? Then we started having them groomed there too, lol - now we're talking full service! Obviously we've known nearly everyone who's worked there . Our opinion? They are simply The Best. Our big guys Levi & Noah get so excited when my husband asks if they want to go to the Canyon , that Levi starts squeaking and they both dance around maniacally . Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. Within 5 minutes we were able to re-establish the training methods that work and get Hope back on track with easy leash walking. I am so impressed with her concise easy to follow instructions. I am looking forward to taking my two Samoyeds on walks again while walking my toddler in a stroller without having to worry that Hope will pull us. Trained dogs are safe dogs and I'd pay for the training with Juliet 10x over. Worth every penny! It makes my life easier as a single mom managing all the things to have two dogs that get to enjoy being outside with us because I trust them and they trust me. They had incredible patience and understanding, but they were also assertive in getting things done. Our cat loved her experience at Evergreen Cat Lodge. She is normally a fussier older cat, but every time we watched her in the webcam she looked so happy. It was such a nice touch from the staff to provide us a webcam link so we could always check in on our girl while we were away for vacation. Our cat had an accident at one point. The staff at Evergreen Cat Lodge handled it professionally and with total assertion. This is a no-nonsense operation. Your cat couldn't be in better hands. I was able to relax throughout my entire vacation knowing my cat was getting the best attention. I highly recommend these kind folks. I'll be using their services every time I'm out of town now.

At the time our kitty had undergone unexpected surgery and was on strict ground rest. The Evergeen Cat Lodge was amazing and came up with a solution to provide our little guy excellent care while facilitating his special needs. We are extremely thankful for the Evergreen Cat Lodge and for the help and care they provided during this difficult time. We boarded both of our cats again over Christmas and had a wonderful experience. The staff is kind and caring and works so hard to meet your cat's special needs. The facilities are one of a kind and very clean. I love being able to check in on them through the web cameras! I can't recommend the Evergreen Cat Lodge enough! When our babies are there we know they are in great hands!

When I called Mountain Parks this morning, they were booked as well, but asked what was wrong with my kitty. When I explained, they made room for him; I was able to bring him in right away! Dr. Sheridan and the rest of the staff were so kind and gentle with my sweet boy! Dr. Sheridan offered the most conservative approach for care and made other suggestions with consideration of my finances. I will never go anywhere else! EVER!

Based on these good experiences and feedback we scheduled a two night boarding stay and received a call a week later from the owner advising she cancelled his stay because he was hard to handle, cannot get along and has to be separated - the complete opposite of the feedback provided upon previous visits. So while we considered this a fantastic and reputable option in Grand County, I now have to say I find this business a bit unethical.

When we pull into the parking lot in the mornings she perks up because she is so excited to go play with her friends. All of the staff members are so kind, knowledgeable and helpful but, we would like to particularly thank Leela (hope I spelt it right). When Olive was out sick for 2 weeks and ran out her promotion days she so gratuitously extended us for the days we were unable to attend. He is not the easiest dog but they are so patient with him and love him so much. He's so happy to go in every time, which is especially impressive because he usually has separation anxiety when he's away from me. I know some of the other reviews are mixed, but I want to say every dog daycare has its issues, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. It's not the "nicest" looking place, but I've taken Moose to fancier daycares where he was just stressed out, and I did not like how the staff treated him. I love City Bark's staff because they go out of their way to get to know each and every dog, and I just couldn't be more impressed with how they've taken care of Moose and how much they love him. He's collectively spent months of his life there since I travel so much, and I always love to look on the webcam and see him getting love.
