Moving to a new area means finding a whole host of services. It isn't feasible for us to drive back to Fort Collins to get the pups groomed so we had to find new groomers that would meet our expectations. Thanks to Denver's best groomers list, we found this place. I dropped our three kids off in the morning. It is a bit chaotic at check in with dogs coming in at the same time. I might suggest taking the dogs back as each one arrives to make it less frenetic for everyone. Six hours later I picked them up and they all looked great. I had asked our Collie mix receive a potty cut which they said they did. I will need to be more specific in the future as we needed a more extreme cut. Our labradoodles look so shiny and clean and their haircuts were exactly what we wanted! read more

VERY UNHAPPY Appt for my 2 small dogs yesterday. 4 1/2 hours later I called about picking them up. They hadn't even started on them so my one dog rubbed her nose raw being locked in a kennel all day. Finally got the call 2 hours later they were ready. 7 HOURS AT THE SHOP. Paid extra for the "blueberry" although no one could tell me what that was!. Dogs exhausted and stressed. When we got home smaller dog is beat up with multiple unjuries to stomach and paw. Called shop. This morning owner didn't bother to call me back, she had manager call. Said my dog stepped off the table and must have scratched herself. offered free charge next appt. Your can refund my money for this appt because I won't be bringing my dogs back for another one. read more

Decided to give this place a try based on the overall reviews. While I will say they were very nice, the grooming service was mediocre at best. Supposedly they couldn't even trim my dog nails even though she has been getting them done elsewhere every two weeks. Ears had visible crud as well after picking her up. Clearly they did not express her glands either. Would not use this place for anything more than a shampoo. read more

We went to Bow Wow Boutique for the first time last Saturday and we loved it! We called earlier that week and they got us in that weekend. Responsive and professional. Our guy is a 9.5 month-old Mini Schnauzer mix and we wanted him to have a super positive experience for only his third grooming. He still had a puppy coat and was a bit matted etc. Kim was amazing took her time and while Blue's overall appearance was a lower priority than ensuring his experience was positive, he came out beautiful. He looks like a totally different dog (although we would love him no matter what he looked like). He was wagging his tail like crazy, stoked and full of confidence when I picked him up. She plucked his ears to perfection and his cut was gorgeous. We'll be going back. Price was extremely reasonable. read more

Our daisy has very bad allergies. She loves this place and the ladies who run it. Service is good and the dogs are treated extremely well. Yes it's not very clean and the girls don't dust very often but like at home with children id rather have fun with the kids then clean the house. These girls are kind and friendly to the animals. No unhappy dogs have I ever seen at this place and that's all that counts . read more

Kim and her staff are truly wonderful. We have two full sized rough collies that are not the easiest to deal with and she always sends them back to us looking like a million bucks! My dog is high maintenance for a lot of reasons. 1) she's a Wheaten Terrier which are traditionally hard to groom. 2 ) she's a senior 3) she's anxious and 4) she has some health concerns that mean she need to be watched a little closer. We've been doing business with BWB for over ten years. During that time the only "errors" which occurred were one dog got their front nails cut a TINY bit too short, which made them sensitive. The other "error" was giving our Wired Hair Fox Terrier and "standard" cut instead of the traditional cut especially for the breed. It took TEN YEARS to rack up these issues. Hardly the end of the world. Our two terriers love coming to this groomer. When we arrive they are so excited and happy they can't wait to get inside and see Kim. (Store owner). Their little tails are wagging so fast they look like an airplane's propeller! My wife and I love and cherish our little family. About 7 years ago, our first wire fox was killed by a texting soccer mom driving a mini-van. My wife picked up our dying dog who was partially still conscious and comforted him in her arms while he passed. Our dogs are more than canine companions, pets, friends etc. They are family. I bring up Crighton's death to emphasize my commitment to my little family's well being. If I thought for an instant that they were not being treated well, I would not do business with BWB. HOWEVER, they do a wonderful, thorough job. For those who have had an unhappy visit to BWB, I don't know what or why things went bad for you. Kim LOVES the animals she grooms and would not tolerate poor treatment of the animals in her care. She would definitely be thankful if she were informed about the bad behavior of groomers in her employ. read more

I don't know if the groomer here was just having a bad day or what, but the experience was horrible for our 5 month old gentle standard poodle puppy. She mentioned having to 'shove him again the wall', and gave him a full body clip when we asked to only have his face and feet clipped. Months later the sound of clippers still terrifies him and we've resorted to clipping him at home until he's recovered from his experience here. read more

This is my new favorite groomer for my cats. Their prices are amazing and they do a great job. I took my Persian cat here, they trimmed his nails, brushed him out and shaved his trouble spots. They are quick and did a great job dealing with my fussy baby. The staff is so friendly and you can definitely tell they have a passion for their job and animals. I love their dog that greets you at the door he's super cute and friendly. I will definitely keep making the drive to bring my cat here just because of how amazing they are! read more

You can tell he/she works or owns that other groomer's place that they gave a plug to as they accidental said "here" instead of "there" in the review (pretty sleazy of them to trash a competitor). I've been taking my mastiff to Bow Wow four about four years. They are really friendly and flexible and I know my dog Lucy is in great care when she goes there. Recently took my yorkie to these guys for a summer cut. I was looking for something simple and probably could have done it at home besides I have been beyond busy. When I showed up to pick the poor guy up he was uneven... had a doggie skirt (cut the top short and the legs are left long) and looked pretty rediculous. The price was pretty good and the people there seems to be nice, but overall I was pretty unimpressed by the service. read more

I wish I knew her name, but she was instantly RUDE to us, clearly lazy and didn't want to do the job. It was our first time here, and we gave it a try only because we had a $50 gift card ... which I threw in the trash as soon as we got home. Didn't even want to give it away and promote this business. Okay, so this place is a little shabby and doesn't look that organized inside. But HOLY COW my dog looked like a ROCK STAR when she came out! She's a long haired dog that likes to roll in dirt piles and has a weed collection in her coat. But WOW, she came home and felt like SILK and the whole family could not stop touching her. I don't think she's gotten that much attention in a long time. They worked some serious magic on my mutt. I paid $25 for the bathing service and it's the BEST my dog has ever looked! read more

We have a somewhat dog-aggressive rescue dog who is a lot to handle. And of course, since he is a chow mix, he has lots of fur and that downy undercoat that covers the whole house. They did a great job getting his clumps and knots out and all dolled up, and he wasn't at all traumatized - he also can have some separation anxiety, but he was fine. On top of that, they are inexpensive. We will be bringing our dog back! read more

The thing that gets this place a 5 stars though is the personal love that the ladies demonstrate every time you come in there. It's amazing the relationships that they build with your animal. I finally found my place!! We had two bad experiences with my golden doodle. A friend recommended Bow Wow boutique and they actually got me in the day I called. Golden doodles are tough and get horrible matts in their coat. I bought plenty of detanglers, special combs and watched videos on how to help with little luck, I finally decided to let the professionals take care of him. Best decision ever. Our groomer Stephanie is absolutely amazing! She takes her time and never misses a thing. She even fixed his poor matted ears and they still looked adorable. Von is always excited to go and seems so happy when I pick him up. They are very reasonable priced and work so hard! I enjoy taking my dog there and would highly recommend them! read more
