My dogs love this place and for good reason! There's a huge yard for them to play (and I can watch…read morethrough dog cams, which as any over protective pet parent knows, is the best way to distract yourself at work) and they get crates together. Especially having large dogs, knowing they will be together and therefore more comfortable, makes me confident to leave them for doggy day care and in the future overnight. I was initial apprehensive of the 10am-2pm down time, however the team was really clear on explaining it and I always feel like my pups come home exhausted despite having their own nap time. I feel like the expense is well worth it and we're happy to be part of the playful Pooch family!

We used Denver Pro Pet Sitting while we were on vacation and it was an absolute lifesaver. They checked in on our cats, made sure everything was taken care of, and sent updates that made it clear our little furballs were living their best lives while we were gone. Reliable, communicative, and clearly people who genuinely care about animals. It's such a relief knowing your pets are in good hands instead of just hoping the automatic feeder doesn't become their new enemy. 10/10 would trust them with our cats again. I was unfortunate enough to have an emergency while on vacation with no way to get home quickly or call anyone. Nelson and my sitter were absolutely amazing in handling the situation with urgency, care, and communicated with me the best they could given my limited availability. I hope I never have another emergency when I'm gone, but if I do, it's Denver Pro Pet Sitting I want taking care of my pets. Finally, they do their best to assign the same sitter every time. I really love seeing my sitter comment on my dog's health improvements since previous visits and makes me feel like they genuinely care about my pets and their well being.

Beware if you stay here…read more Had a traumatic experience where I picked my pup up and immediately noticed she had big bite marks on her lips (pictured below) that the staff did not notice during her stay there which proves they did not give her proper attention. Then in the car back she threw up all over the car three times. Had to immediately take her to the emergency vet where they immediately flagged her for severe and deadly dehydration (see pic with her level of lethargy in the ER). So much so they had to keep her overnight on IVs and had her stay for 24 hours due to health risks. We had to stay the entire night in the emergency room with her after having extensive travels back from our trip which was taxing physically mentally emotionally as well as financially and will take us a very long time to recover from. Did little to reconcile or try to resolve the situation adequately with us. Therefore this is this warning of our experience to all who stay there.

My dog is an incredibly fear, aggressive reactive dog. He was in the shelter for 8 months and is a…read morehigh energy high worker. Because of this, he unfortunately has a bite history. I have always been hesitant to work with a facility because of the innate danger that not understanding dog language entails. Citrine has always been fearful of men and lives in a household where mainly women are. He has gone through many different types of training and some worked and some didn't. But then I called with canine fitness and fun center and they have this wonderful trainer by the name of Devin. He worked really hard with Citrine (my dog) over the course of three visits to get my dog to trust him. Upon this third round we were invited to do a private swim with Devin. Even though citrine hadn't seen him for a week, citrine immediately recognized him and went to greet him. Devin truly understands dogs and wants them to be the best version of themselves. Citrine immediately jumped in the pool with him and Devin was able to handle him, give him pets, and continue on entertaining him for the full 45 minutes. I am so proud of how far my dog has come with working with Devin. We are hoping that we can start an agility training with Devin and continue on working my workhorse of a dog. We visited Doggie Pause in person and were very turned off by the experience. Like two other…read morereviewers described, the building is strictly no access to anyone but staff. So literally, on a cold early evening, as it's getting dark, we had to stand outside and talk to someone on the phone whom we could see through the window on her phone. They also gave us the same excuse (as to another reviewer) that the dogs go crazy or something when there are other people there. This is an issue of planning and location design, not a dog issue. Additionally, from the front windows, we saw an office with desks and computers, no dogs. I didn't even think it was a dog facility because it just didn't look like one. My takeaway: customers' comfort is not a concern for them. The website has very few photos, and none that clearly show the inside of the facility. While we were coming to terms with this, a customer arrived to pick up a dog. He looked pretty confused where to stand or go. There are several doors, each with various ad hoc signs on them, but no clear instructions what to do. eventually, a staffer came out and asked, "Are you here for [dog X]?"... Not terribly great security or experience in my opinion. We've never encountered a place that we couldn't visually inspect to some degree. (Even to smell it to know if it smells clean!) Really a non-starter for us. But the final nail in the coffin for us was the odd responses we got when we told them we have a 12-week old puppy who's current on his shots FOR THAT AGE. I.e., no, he doesn't have all his Parvo shots yet or Rabies. Two staffers on the phone were confused by this. Their website, though, seems to recognize this fact. Perhaps the staff should review the company's site to familiarize themselves with puppy care. PS: There were more nutty & negative aspects, but I can't write all night. In a nutshell, parking and exterior lighting were also poor.
