    Murph

We couldn't be more grateful for Caitlin and the incredible impact she's had on our dog, Murphy! When we first started working with Caitlin, Murphy was struggling with a few behavioral issues, and we were unsure how to make progress. From the very beginning, Caitlin's approach was nothing short of professional, patient, and caring. Her expertise in dog training shines through in everything she does. Caitlin not only addressed Murphy's specific needs but also took the time to understand his personality, tailoring her methods to suit him perfectly. Her positive reinforcement techniques created an environment where Murphy thrived, and we saw improvement week over week. What really sets Caitlin apart is her ability to explain things in a way that's clear and easy for us to understand. She provided us with practical tools and exercises that we could implement at home after our 3 week board and train. Thanks to Caitlin's guidance, Murphy is now more confident, obedient, and overall a happier dog. We are so thankful for all her help and would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and effective dog trainer! Thank you, Caitlin & Pavlov Dog Training for everything! Ps. If you are considering Board & Train. Look no further, the staff here at Pavlov are amazing!

I have had a wonderful experience with Pavlov Dog Training! I sent my 6 month old Husky/ Pit Bull/ Shepherd Mix to their 3-week long board and train with Quinn to help her with some possessive and reactive behaviors. I was hesitant at first due to the length of the board and train and her age, but it was the best decision I made for us. My dog is now 8 months old and we can go on off-leash hikes together and sit at a brewery or restaurant. Quinn helped me learn how to use the e-collar in a way that allows me feel like I am communicating with my dog, not punishing her. After the board and train, her possessive and reactive behaviors improved dramatically. I love Quinn and Pavlov Dog Training. We now go to Group Classes and Pack Walks with Tanya. It feels so supportive to be able to continue my dog's training after her board and train and private 1:1s with Quinn. Tanya creates as safe and educational environment to practice "heel" and other on-leash behaviors. I cannot say enough good things about Pavlov!

We sent our pup Layla to board and train for the 2 week off-leash program. Quinn was our lead dog trainer. You can do both basic obedience and off-leash programs in 3 weeks, or bypass the basic obedience program by taking enough group obedience classes, so we did the latter! We ended up loving Paw School (at Stephanie's recommendation!) and graduated her from level 1 to level 4 in preparation for her off-leash program. She was pretty good at listening, but only when she wanted to (you know, husky things!), so we liked Pavlov's approach of balanced training and holding them accountable when they don't listen. I looked at a lot of programs and went with them because of their stellar ratings, balanced approach, and play groups every day. We want our dog to listen when needed, but we also want her to be a happy dog and have fun! It was hard to be away from her for 2 weeks, but she came back still her silly self but much better engaged with us and walking much more nicely. We're so happy to have the tools that they introduced and trained (slip leash, e-collar) so we can give her the freedom she wants to have because we trust that she'll respond.

We recently completed the off-leash board and train program with Caitlin, and we can't say enough good things about the experience. Caitlin communicated everything clearly and thoroughly, making us feel comfortable and confident as we prepared to continue our training at home. We are so grateful to the Pavlov team for the invaluable tools they've provided. We've already referred many of our friends to them, and the feedback has been consistently positive. Thank you, Pavlov, for helping our girl become the best version of herself!

Frank hanging out in the yard during play time

My Great Dane Frank was enrolled in a three week board and train program with Quinn. From drop off to pick up, communication and updates were frequent and comprehensive. I was able to see what Frank was up to daily, on their Instagram. During the program, Frank and Quinn worked on leash walk (heel, whoa, stay, and come) and went on field trips to the park and Home Depot. After pickup, we've had continuous support through multiple 1:1 hour long sessions at home, in the park, and at the facility. All included with the board and train package.

As a first time dog owner, I am very grateful to have found Pavlov and especially the Manager Quinn. My now 10-month old puppy Eloise has been through Puppy Pre-School, Puppy Boarding & Train as well as Obedience 1/2, or a total of about four and a half weeks of training since she was four months old. Eloise is a complicated puppy from a NM reservation - extremely anxious, afraid of men, afraid of crowded places, and a bit wild. For puppy training Eloise boarded with Quinn at her home, was exposed to dogs and cats in a safe environment and gradually gained confidence and trust in people. Quinn worked closely with Eloise and myself over the next several weeks, and when Eloise was old enough to go through Obedience 1/2, she learned strong on-leash manners. At 10 months old the difference that Quinn's training has made in our daily walks as well as around strangers is breathtaking. Further, she has given me the tools and confidence to be a more successful dog owner 24/7. Eloise loves Quinn deeply & trusts all the Pavlov staff, so I feel very comfortable leaving her there for boarding when I have to travel. I highly recommend Pavlov's training program and would like to thank Quinn and team for all their hard work.

My partner and I recently adopted a nine month old male cattle dog mix who was a bit of a dick at first. He was showing aggression to other dogs and people who would come to visit. He also hadn't had much training prior to adoption, so he had a handful of other more manageable puppy behaviors that we needed to work on as well. We had success going the YouTube route with our other dog, but that approach wasn't working for our newest little shit, so we reached out to several trainers in Denver. We also talked to two friends who had used trainers and they both strongly recommended Pavlov, so we decided to go with them for the five-session Private Behavior program. After five sessions and about 15-25 minutes of training homework per day, our dog has changed drastically for the better. He no longer barks at people or dogs passing our window, tries to murder the Amazon employees, growls or lunges at guests and visiting dogs, jumps when we walk in, ignores commands, pulls on his leash, smokes cigarettes, or gets spaghetti on the wallpaper. He now knows how to "park it" on his bed when people come to the door and stays there indefinitely, come when called, stay, and heel, even off leash (with a close eye), all thanks to Kylah Lenz from Pavlov. Kylah was great. She was able to fit a ton into each hour session and was incredibly knowledgeable. She had a direct and efficient teaching style that made me feel like we got our money's worth from each session. I had a lot of questions and she had the expertise to answer all of them with techniques that work. I emailed her a few times between sessions with questions about new behavior or things I forgot to write down and she got back to me quickly. She had a natural way of communicating with our dog and he started listening to her and then us within the first session. If we decide to do any additional training for either of our dogs, we'll definitely use Pavlov and request Kylah. My partner and I are both animal lovers and vegans, so we were both initially hesitant to go with a program that uses an electronic collar and isn't 100% positive reinforcement, but we were desperate to curb his aggression so we agreed to it. Kylah walked us through how effective an e-collar is with aggressive dogs and let us "shock" ourselves at the level we would be using on the dog. I'm not a dog, but from a human perspective, it didn't hurt at all. I tried it on my palm, my arm, and my tail. It felt weird and you could see how it would grab a dog's attention, but it was in no way painful. I definitely didn't expect our dog to make this kind of progress in only 7 weeks, after struggling to train him myself. I thought this level of obedience would take a year. Dog training isn't cheap, but this was worth it. I have so much more peace of mind now. It's also fun, rather than stressful, to live with an obedient dog. Pavlov's methods work!

My puppy ,Stella, completed the board and train program for 2 weeks in January. Her trainer was Quinn. Stella has made huge improvements in her behavior- no longer pulls on leash- knows heel, come, stay, park it, and is jumping on people a lot less! She was already a grat dog but now she is even better behaved. Quinn has been great with reinforcing the commands and training me to work with Stella and has individualized the training for us specifically. I am so pleased that I decided to go with Pavlov! I know it's a financial committmenet but was worth every penny!

We had a wonderful experience with Pavlov! Pippin did two weeks of Board and Train, and we were so happy that we sent him back for a third. Our trainer Quinn clearly loves our pup and has been totally responsive to all our questions with the follow-up sessions and even now that we have finished. We are going on a trip and are using Pavlov for boarding with benefits. Thrilled to know Quinn will be working with him again.

I highly recommend Pavlov dog training! After the board and train program, my pup Murph now knows really helpful commands in the house, while walking in heel, and out in public. I really appreciated all of the videos and updates over the two week boarding and the follow up training sessions. Jason and Tanya are very helpful for Murph (and me) and I look forward to continuing training.

I had the best experience with Pavlov Dog training! Quinn was our dog trainer and she was absolutely wonderful to work with! My Corgi mix (Livia) came back from the Board and Train program so well behaved and was excited to see Quinn and Miranda each time we had a follow up lesson. Livia's 1st birthday happened to be while she was in the program and they threw a little birthday celebration for her which was so cute! I would definitely recommend Pavlov to my friends, family, or anyone who is looking for a safe and fun training environment for their pup! Already planning to bring Livia back for off-leash training.

Unfortunately, when I need to book a groom it's most likely b/c I've spilled queso or some other drippy snack in my dog's head hair and I need a groomer today, not 6 weeks from now. Woof in Boots was able to get me in the same week I called. When I dropped her off I spoke with the groomer and explained my dog's new anxiety contributed to her recent diagnoses of Cushing's Disease. My dog is now a nervous nelly when I bring her to the groomers. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog here. The groomer assured me she would stop immediately if it got to be too much for my old lady. My dog was done in less than 2 hours (I've bene places where they've kept her for 5+ hours). When I picked her up she was free roaming in the secure doggy area. She had her tongue hanging out and seemed happy. I loved that she was cage-free after her groom since she has PTSD from all her surgeries (and being caged). I will definitely be back for all my grooming needs - and most likely day care as well!

At this facility dogs have daycare with boarding. There is no charge for the evaluation. I made my evaluation time for drop off at 10am & pick up at 2pm on a Sunday. Thank goodness I received a reminder text the morning of because the text also said the lobby is closed from 10-4pm on Sundays. No one mentioned this when I made the appointment. I would have been very disappointed had I gotten there & it was closed. I did call & they asked if I could be there a little early & someone would be in the lobby for pickup at 2pm. I was not happy at pickup when I discovered poop all over one side, by the ear & neck on one of my dogs. The employee was surprised & apologetic, he took her in the back & gave her a bath. The employee was very friendly & personable. At Woof & Boots he said they try to be accommodating & flexible. For example, if some dogs like people more (than dogs) they allow them to hang out with the staff in the lobby, which is gated. They also offer the Bordetella Vaccine for $35 & provide a First Day Report Card with picture of your dog(s).

The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle.
