Outside - nothing sexy but it's a dog place ‍

Love their puppy socialization classes! Lydia was my favorite. She was able to manage the entire room and ensured all dogs and humans were comfortable. For $5 for an hour class - you can't beat that! It's great for puppies to learn proper play and meet dogs of all shapes and sizes. They divide the room into high and low energy play and move the dogs as needed. She really takes time to make sure the shy dogs get pulled out of their shell too.

Noble Beast is just incredible!! We brought our 3 yo pup here for some basic obedience and are amazed at our results. Our trainer Barb was funny, kind and patient, giving us incredible tools for training our Penny. We seriously Recommend everyone to Noble Beast.

Baxter and I really enjoyed our sessions with Mary. She was so friendly and sweet and Baxter took a liking to her quickly. Her knowledge and techniques were top notch. I was so concerned with Baxter's behavior at first and your company came highly recommended. I now see why there are so many satisfied customers. Mary was a delight to work with and I will certainly refer anyone looking for dog training.

Scott is amazing, and we can't recommend Chill Out Dog Training enough!…read more We adopted a 9 month old, 80 lb (now 110 lb) golden retriever from a local rescue in mid-2023. A complete contrast to our older collie/aussie mix, he was full of energy and naughtiness (a puppy), and a nightmare to control. Prior to being surrendered by his (previous) family, he went through two weeks of out of home boarding/training, costing upwards of $7,000. We thought this would have helped with obedience, but boy were we wrong. Fast forward two and a half years, sessions with a certified behaviorist, and failed attempts to use an e-collar, we were at a loss. He constantly displayed leash reactivity, would lunge at cars and dogs, and made it so we would rarely walk anywhere. He almost broke my finger during a break free lunge at a dog completely across a residential street! At home, dog forbid another animal appeared on the tv; he would jump and bark at everything. Then we found Chill Out... After the very first session with Scott, our big boy golden was a different dog. Scott set is up with the right tools to refocus our dogs behavior and break him of his leash reactivity. That very first walk was pleasant and uneventful. We almost felt foolish for claiming bad behavior. What we needed was the right trainer and methods to help our dog change behavior. Like I said at the beginning, I can't recommend Chill Out Training enough.

We wanted to address the behavior early rather than let it become more established, so within about six weeks of it starting, we enrolled her in a board-and-train program. We ultimately decided to put both of our Aussies through separate programs: both females, one five years old and the other about a year and a half. The difference has been night and day. Both dogs now have reliable recall, walk calmly on leash, and for the first time, we feel genuinely confident having them off leash. They no longer react to wildlife or other dogs on hikes, the fence running and excessive barking have stopped, and they can calmly sit with us at outdoor cafes and other dog-friendly public spaces. The "place" command has been especially valuable. They can settle calmly for extended periods, which has been a true game changer both at home and when we're out with them. Most importantly, both dogs seem more confident because they understand what is expected of them. My husband and I are also much more consistent and aligned in how we communicate with them and provide the structure they need to be successful. We've enjoyed continuing to work with them every day and building on the foundation Juliet provided. The overall atmosphere in our home is noticeably calmer, more harmonious, and far less frustrating for both us and the dogs. Juliet has also continued to follow up and check in to make sure the dogs are doing well, which is something you don't always see once a training program is finished. It's a tangible sign that she genuinely cares about the dogs' long-term success, and it has reinforced for us that this was absolutely the right investment for our family.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. It's WELL worth the investment, and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in your dog. Thank you Loyal Hound & Juliet!!

They do not stand behind their claims that they can work and change the most difficult dogs. They flatly told us we could not have a refund for the money they basically stole from us, nor would they offer another training session with a different trainer. Needless to say, we are bewildered, disappointed and angry! Our dog came home with NO BEHAVIOR CHANGES, NOR DEMONSTRATED OR LEARNED CORRECTIONS. Without explaining every detail of our experience, and I'm sure KoruK9 will refute or deny this is a valid review, please know and describe every specific thing you want for your money, before hiring KoruK9. Ask them to put, in writing, exactly what to expect from you dog when he or she comes back from 3 weeks away in a trainer's home. Don't let them tell you 30 minutes, walking your dog, is part of the one hour in home training! The initial session, ok. But not each additional session, unless you feel $200/hour is worth that from the trainer. READ ON IF YOU CARE. BUT BUYER BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY. We understand that there can be no guarantees with each dog, but we asked KoruK9 to explain exactly what we were to have expected, other than the fluff of their maketing claims. Neither Jenna, or home office coordinator, Seyonna, could give a definitive answer. The only thing our dog came home with is a new e-shock- collar (which we paid, additionally, for). Jenna sent 8 videos (maybe 12?, in 21 days) of her "training" our dog to stay on the raised mat with the "place" command. In 1 video, our dog was leashed to the fence so she could not physically leave the mat. That particular training video shows our dog continously trying to leave the mat. There was never a video showing Jenna had succeeded in instilling the behavior with her command. Our dog came home and still could not keep her "place" on the mat. Jenna suggested we must use the E-shock-collar. She warned us to be careful not to hurt the dog, and showed us the horrible burn marks on one of her own dogs. Our dog is not that difficult, but she does not get along with our other dog, and she is very aggressive with small children. Yes, a critical situation. Jenna initially told us that there are no guarantees, as each dog is different, but she was confident she could help us. She failed to tell us, at that intial meeting, that she has 2 of her own dogs would "kill each other" if left alone. When she brought our dog back, she immediately growled and pulled on leash toward our smaller dog. Jenna told us we should keep them apart, in kennels, or tied to doorknobs. Like we hadn't been doing that before $3400 and her "training"! Another of the exercises in our training experience here at home, was a 30 minute walk each of the 3 times Jenna provided "training" for our 2 dogs together. I had to pay an extra $107 for her travel to our home, as well as a training fee for our other dog . I cannot share every disappointing detail here, and I'm sure KoruK9 will have a rebuttal or refute to some of what is shared. Be aware of exactly what you want for your dog and your family, BEFORE PAYING KORU-K9 UP FRONT AND IN FULL. Ask for specific written plans from them. ASK FOR DAILY EMAILS. If you are concerned, discuss, or take dog home. Do not let them tell you they are laying a foundation, or some other fluffy, non specific nonsense.
