I was taking my dogs to LDP for 20+ years and spent thousands on overnight care as I travel a lot for business. In October 2025 one of my dogs was injured while at daycare and the way the injury was handled was unacceptable. During a meeting with the new owners, they explained "they were not trained for such things". They did the right thing and paid the $1000 vet bill for my dog which was incurred when I returned and found his wound to be severe and close to infection. I am told since this incident there is a policy & procedure manual created for the employees and owners and training has been done to avoid an incident like this in the future. Please ask to see this document as the same employees are still working there.

I always like to order mine a doggy ice cream sundae for their last day. So now by this time, I'm hoping they know that "when they get an ice cream sundae, that means they'll get to go home that same day." And I love that they email (and add to the app) pictures of your dogs, one for every day they are there (at least!). *I use Wag when I travel on a plane, otherwise, it's not ideal for me to travel all the way out there. **Also LOVE that it is 24 hour pick up. Working from home, with an energetic 1.5-year-old pup and no enclosed yard, was proving quite a challenge. Dogdrop was a welcomed relief! The initial "good fit test" or trial was a piece of cake, and the corresponding report card the team left us with was an excellent touch, providing insights into Kaya's command and socialization skills, as well as personality. And, of course, her acceptance. Finding out about the new friend Kaya made so quickly that day, and receiving candid photos of her enjoyment, was the cherry on top. We were also pleasantly surprised with the engaging monthly and weekly activities Dogdrop has in store for our fur baby, and others'. Arts and crafts (yes, Kaya painted, and we received the masterpieces on our following visits!), puzzles and agility course time, themed photoshoots, and endless playtime with both fellow attendees and the heartwarming staff. The facilities are also clean and well maintained. What makes Dogdrop especially user-friendly are their flexible hours - no reservations needed. We love the option to drop Kaya off and pick her up as our schedule permits. The swift drop-off and pick-up process, combined with the staff's effort to recognize each dog personally, is commendable. They will even assess and adjust the group level your pup interacts with based on their size and personality. Affordability is a plus with their reasonable membership options and hourly rates. The bonus day for members is also a nice touch, offering one, eight-hour day per month before the hourly rate kicks in. And the staff's dedication shines through, from sharing photo updates throughout her visits to friendly check-in texts when they haven't seen Kaya for a few days. Although the facility is indoor only and does not permit outdoor activity (due to location, risks, and other challenges), for us, personally, this does not warrant any consideration in our rating. Watching Kaya's extreme, tail-wagging excitement every time we walk up to Dogdrop is the best testament to their service. Big kudos to the entire Dogdrop team for providing such a stellar daycare experience for our Kaya. Highly recommend!

The problem I've found with a lot of groomers is they are booked 6+ weeks out. Unfortunately, when I need to book a groom it's most likely b/c I've spilled queso or some other drippy snack in my dog's head hair and I need a groomer today, not 6 weeks from now. Woof in Boots was able to get me in the same week I called. When I dropped her off I spoke with the groomer and explained my dog's new anxiety contributed to her recent diagnoses of Cushing's Disease. My dog is now a nervous nelly when I bring her to the groomers. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog here. The groomer assured me she would stop immediately if it got to be too much for my old lady. My dog was done in less than 2 hours (I've bene places where they've kept her for 5+ hours). When I picked her up she was free roaming in the secure doggy area. She had her tongue hanging out and seemed happy. I loved that she was cage-free after her groom since she has PTSD from all her surgeries (and being caged). I will definitely be back for all my grooming needs - and most likely day care as well!

The Sunday I went there was lots of parking in front and along the side streets. The facility itself seemed to need some attention & upkeep - the front glass window was cracked & the inside lobby looked a bit disorganized. In addition, customers are not allowed to tour the facility. As with most boarding places, all dogs need to have an evaluation before a reservation can be made. At this facility dogs have daycare with boarding. There is no charge for the evaluation. I made my evaluation time for drop off at 10am & pick up at 2pm on a Sunday. Thank goodness I received a reminder text the morning of because the text also said the lobby is closed from 10-4pm on Sundays. No one mentioned this when I made the appointment. I would have been very disappointed had I gotten there & it was closed. I did call & they asked if I could be there a little early & someone would be in the lobby for pickup at 2pm. I was not happy at pickup when I discovered poop all over one side, by the ear & neck on one of my dogs. The employee was surprised & apologetic, he took her in the back & gave her a bath. The employee was very friendly & personable. At Woof & Boots he said they try to be accommodating & flexible. For example, if some dogs like people more (than dogs) they allow them to hang out with the staff in the lobby, which is gated. They also offer the Bordetella Vaccine for $35 & provide a First Day Report Card with picture of your dog(s).

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. Tragically, Molly passed away…read moreduring her stay from suspected bloat--a life-threatening condition that, when caught early, has a survival rate of 80-90%. We were devastated to learn that the facility does not provide overnight supervision, despite advertising that staff live on-site. This creates a misleading impression that dogs are monitored at all times, which was not the case. Molly was noted to be in good condition during the last evening check at 8:30 p.m. and was found deceased the following morning. With no staff present overnight, her condition went unnoticed, and any chance of intervention was lost. In addition, Boomer--our surviving dog--was administered a medication he is allergic to, despite our clearly documented instructions and the prescription not being in his name. This represents a serious lapse in attention to medical protocols and safety. In a follow-up message, the owner stated, "we believe nothing could have been done to prevent Molly's unexpected passing." Given what we know about bloat, and the importance of timely recognition and treatment, we strongly disagree. We are sharing our experience so that other pet owners can make fully informed decisions. If medical oversight or overnight monitoring is important to you--as it was to us--please ask very specific questions. Unfortunately, the care provided did not match the level of safety and attentiveness we were led to expect.
