We are so thankful to have found Lynn's Loving Pet Care! We have a Black Mouth Cur/Lab Mix (Arlen) that was crated and bred for her first two years. She has anxiety in new environments or around new people. We couldn't bear to kennel her knowing her history. Our problem was solved when we found Lynn and Scott! Lynn does not do this on the weekends to make an extra buck and hang out with some cuties. This is her profession, and she takes being responsible for your loved one very seriously. To begin with, Lynn is extremely thorough with her intake of new clients. She keeps up-to-date detailed records, licensing, contracts, rabies certificates, and contact information so that she is prepared for anything. There is a meet and greet process to make sure your dog can commune with the other animals happily and safely. You get to explore the environment your dog will be in, and Lynn goes over her policies and procedures. All questions are welcomed and answered. You can tell that it is important to Lynn that you feel confident and informed when you leave your dog with her. I've found her to be quite flexible with scheduling or changes. She is responsive, and communications are very clear, (especially drop off/pick up procedures). Lynn's Loving Pet Care has a system, and the system works. The best part of Lynn's Loving Pet Care, besides dropping your dog off and actually not worrying, are the videos. Lynn provides daily video updates to let you know how things are going. I can't explain to you how much it means for us to be traveling and see Arlen happy, wagging, having her treats, and playing with the other dogs. We are able to enjoy our time away from home knowing that Arlen is too (something we didn't think was possible). Lynn will love your dog like her own and take every measure to ensure their comfort, health, safety and happiness. She goes above and beyond. Arlen has stayed with Lynn twice and will continue to whenever we are traveling. I would recommend Lynn's Loving Pet Care to anyone looking for a loving home for their pet while they are away. read more

I don't know about anyone else but, this is the most unprofessional sitting service around. The owner was in pajamas or whatever for her meet & greet. She uses scratched out paper contracts, wants you to write everything contact wise 3x on paper, doesn't remember her own schedule and only takes cash orcheck. Im sure her current clients are used to it. The dogs are NOT taken on walks as well while you are gone. Just did not get good vibes when checking out. Its her way or the highway folks. read more

UPDATE 9/9/2018 Within 24 hours after posting this review I received a threatening phone call from Lynn. She first tried to bribe me with paying for my carpet cleaning if I removed the bad rating. Then in the same breath she threatened me with a lawsuit if I didn't. This is another demonstration of unprofessional behavior. I WILL NOT BE BULLIED by a service provider and capitulate to her threat by removing an honest review. She can hire a lawyer if she wants but when it comes to libel or slander, truth is the ultimate defense. I will keep her message on my message machine for the indefinite future and will be happy to provide it to her attorney, if she actually has one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ORIGINAL REVIEW: Well, it breaks my heart to write this review, but I'd be remiss if I didn't. I travel a lot, especially a lot of overseas travel. I had used Lynn and Debbie for some time but after a series of rather shocking mishaps, I terminated our relationship. Here are a few of the issues: 1. One of the two was engaged to kitty sit for four days. I came home early only to find the litter box had not been emptied for at least three of the four days, so my cat decided to mess on the carpet because of her box being overfilled. 2. I have a dome litter box, and one of the two decided to leave the lid off while I was gone because it was "too hard to put on" (stuff and nonsense) so when my kitty did use the box, she saturated the surrounding carpet. $200 to have the carpet and pad cleaned afterwards. 3. When one of the two had an unfortunate encounter with the court system and was required to spend some room-and-board time with the local police, I was aghast to find out they have no backup system - if you're overseas, and something happens to them, YOUR PET WILL BE LEFT ALONE FOR THE REMAINDER OF YOUR TRIP. Needless to say, this is phenomenally distressing. I don't have local family here in the Denver area, so I depend on PROFESSIONALS I hire to do their job and make plans for when they can't. 4. They only take cash - no checks, no credit cards - for reasons one can only guess. It's very inconvenient to the customer, but they have their reasons for not wanting anything but cash. (I'm an accountant. We refer to cash-only businesses as paper-trail avoiders). I get that, but when you pay cash in advance, and they take the cash but don't visit the kitty as promised, well, there's a word for that. Not a good word, either. All in all, very distressing, very unprofessional. They may be great with dog walking if you're home, but if you depend on them when you travel, you do so at your own peril. read more

I found Lynn's Loving Pet Care on Yelp with all stellar five star reviews, and decided to contact her with some questions about in house boarding for our dog (a lab/beagle/ridgeback mix). Lynn was extremely nice and professional and had many questions for me prior to scheduling an introductory evaluation and interview for our dog. During the interview process, she and her husband evaluated the temperament and personality of our dog, and how our dog behaved around the other vetted canines that she was caring for. This was a thorough evaluation, and I left feeling extremely confident that my dog would be properly cared for. She answered all of my questions and concerns (which were many), and she asked for highly detailed feeding instructions, and exactly what kind of attention that my dog most enjoyed. After the interview and evaluation, my dog was accepted into their home to be boarded for two days. As any dog parent can attest to, it is nerve wracking to leave your beloved family member to the care of someone else. Lynn can understand and appreciate this concern and provided me with multiple daily video updates of my dog playing and sleeping that were texted to my phone. My wife and I greatly enjoyed receiving video updates - it gave us peace of mind knowing that our dog was in very good hands. After picking up our happy dog, Lynn even provided followup texts the next day just to see how our dog was doing. She and her husband provided exceptional accommodation and care for our dog. I highly recommend her service. read more

I decided to delete my other review and start from scratch. I had Lynn first watch my dog for 2 weeks September to October of 2021. I could not believe how well she did in those two weeks. We had her watch our dog again in March, and this time, it seemed that we could not pick him up when WE wanted to, which was from 1-2pm. I texted her, no response for an hour, then she said "I'm getting coffee" and we didn't have him until 3:30 pm that day. Also, after this trip, my dog was just off. He went hiding right into his crate and took a bone in his crate, which he has never done before, ever. We tried again this past June, and she tried to charge us for two full days, even though he was there less than 24 hours. My problems overall with this business is that you cannot pick up or drop off your dog when it's convenient to the CUSTOMER. I can understand drop off as many dogs may get too overwhelmed, but I should be able to pick up my dog at 10am! She has very strict rules on pickup, can't get your own dog before 3pm but she claims someone is always home, thus effectively charging you another full day. I do not think that's ok. My dog has been off and on after being with her. She also does not follow instructions. I have told her repeatedly to not force my dog to eat, yet I got videos of him struggling to eat and her making him eat everything in an hour. That's not MY dog, he is very off and on with food, always has been. I told her not to smother him, but would get pictures of him and her with my dog looking very uncomfortable and him coming home reeking of her perfume. From 5pm-9pm most nights, I would get numerous texts and videos every 20 minutes. I appreciated the updates, sure, but I did not need 10 of them and 26 texts 4 hours a night. I don't know what changed in the last year or so with her and this business, but it's not for us anymore. I have heard other complaints from her customers as well, that this business has gone down hill. She's great in the beginning, but it seems she takes advantage of long-term customers. Her pricing and rules are ridiculous for the "care" you get. And she gets defensive with bad reviews, so I will not answer back to those, just beware if you decide to drop your dog here. read more

Lynn is absolutely amazing! We're fairly new to Aurora and were nervous about leaving our furbaby and home with a stranger. Lynn completely took that fear away and made everything super easy. She sent video updates every day and made sure everything was exactly what we asked for. She treated Java as if he was her own - with love, care and gentle kindness. Cannot recommend her enough! We've definitely found our long term sitter. read more

We recently moved to CO and were looking for pet sitter for our dog Howie and came across Lynn. We are so thankful we found her and her services!! From the start things were professional, friendly and we could see her passion for taking care of animals. The consultation process was extremely thorough and allowed time for Howie to get used to the new environment and her dogs. Lynn was in constant communication with texts, videos and picturees showing us how much fun he was having while we were away. Lynn truly treats your pets as if they are a member of her family. Top notch service and passion for animals. I cannot recommend Lynn enough for your pet sitting needs!! read more

We are temporarily living in the Aurora area and needed someone to watch our 2 basset hounds while going on a few trips where they couldn't come with... one is 9, the other is a puppy with LOTS of energy. I did tons of research on all of the pet boarding facilities all over Denver metro, and I just hated the idea of leaving my fur-kids in a kennel all day. I came across Lynn and really liked the idea that she boards in her home... no kennels unless you want to use one. My dogs' first visit with her was 8 days long (we had done a meet and greet a few weeks prior to make sure they did well with her dogs) and I received lots of text messaged pictures and updates. They had a great time, and slept about 2 days after picking them up, which is a sign they had lots of fun! I just picked them up today after a quick weekend trip and they were still loving it. Lynn was also very flexible with pick up and drop off times, when most kennels are not. Her pricing is also cheaper than pretty much every kennel in the area, especially for 2 dogs. We're moving back up Brighton in 6 months or so, but I will still drive all way down to Aurora so my kids can stay with Lynn! read more

Lynn's Loving Pet Care is by far the best pet sitting service I have used. We found Lynn a year and a half ago when we moved to Denver from Georgia and we wouldn't trust anybody else with our baby Anna Banana. Lynn is extremely professional, very reliable, and our poodle absolutely loves to spend time with her! I would recommend her without hesitation to anybody looking for pet care! read more

Lynn has watched my 3 lb teacup Yorkie numerous times and I never have to worry about the care she's in. Lynn sends me pictures and updates daily showing me how much fun my pup is having! Teacups require extra care at times because of their delicate size and sensitive stomach and Lynn goes above and beyond to make sure she stays safe and comfortable. It's great to be able to leave your fur baby with someone and know they're in great hands! read more

I go out of town every 4-6 weeks and I have been using Lynn to take care of my dogs for about 1 1/2 years now. I never worry about the dogs when I am gone. Lynn texts me pictures of the dogs and I know she cares for them as if they were her own pets. It gives me extra piece of mind knowing that she is licensed and insured. read more

This past weekend we used Lynn's Loving Pet Care for the first time. Lynn took our English Bulldog into her home for 3 nights/3 full days with less then a weeks notice. She requires that you bring your pet over for a meet/greet before agreeing to take pet overnight. Lynn and family currently have 3 small dogs and they bring each pet out one at a time to lessen the anxiety which I think is a great idea. I am a big fan of the fact that our dog was able to stay in a home with other dogs without ever using a kennel. Lynn sent us regular updates/videos without any prompting. She is certified, carries insurance, and is very reasonable in terms of cost. My wife and I highly recommend her services!!! Thanks again Lynn, we will definitely use your services in the future. read more

We have used Lynn's services since April of last year. All I can say is, I never have to worry about our 13 yr old beagle, Belle. Lynn visits during the week for a daily walk, and we leave Belle with her when we are out of town. She has helped me on numerous occasions when I was stuck at work, going over to my home and feeding Belle dinner. Lynn is just a conscientious person who cares about doing a great job. read more

My husband and I recently moved to Aurora and were faced with the task of finding someone to take care of our sweet cat and bird while we were out of town for almost a week. After our initial meeting with Lynn, we knew that she would be our go-to person for our animal care needs moving forward. She is incredibly passionate about making sure the animals are cared for just like their animals parents would take care of them. While we were on our trip the last thing we had to do was worry about our animals because we knew they were in perfect hands! We got a daily text from Lynn with pictures and she truly spent quality time with the animals while she was here - she brought toys for playing and everything! We are so thankful to have found Lynn and know that we have someone so wonderful and reliable to call on in the future! read more

Lynn and Debbie have been visiting Frank and Charlie for about a year now. If you're shopping for a dog walker/sitter, they will stop by and play with your dog, get the feel of your house, ask and answer any questions, etc beforehand to make sure you feel comfortable. Lynn does a great job in letting us know if she sees mushrooms in our yard, wasp nests, etc along with letting us know if there are any issues/concerns with our pups. You can really tell how much they love what they do! She is great with texting, accepting last minute visit requests, and sending pics of the dogs to us when she's with them. Charlie and Frank will miss you when we move!! read more

superb. 1st time user Debbie came to the house 3x per day to take care of my dog. We are scheduling our next trip read more

Lynn has been our pet sitter for almost a year now and we have been thrilled with her services. She is available, affordable and awesome to work with. We know our pet is in good hands with Lynn. She even goes above and beyond by sending photos of our sweet pet while we are away to reassure us that he's doing great. I used to leave my cat unattended for a few days at a time, but now that we have Lynn in our lives, I call her because of the peace of mind you get with knowing your pet is in loving hands in your absence makes a trip away so much more enjoyable. read more

I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Lynn. We have been through five different dog walkers and I sure hope she's the very last one we will ever use. We have fired Dog Walker's from everything from things going missing in our home to them not coming at the times they said and even them just not coming at all. Lynn has never not arrived at the time she said and even if she's running a little bit late she communicates that to us. We have two dogs one of whom is a senior and gets urinary track infections if he's locked up inside too long so our schedule really makes a difference. Lynn notices the little things in our home as well as the dog and takes great attention and care to both. She grabs mail that's on the porch, she noticed things with the dogs and she has given me peace of mind! She's invaluable to us and our dogs are our children! read more

We used Lynn to watch our dog when we recently went out of town for 10 days. Our 12 year old dog has never been in a kennel and I was extremely nervous about leaving him somewhere for so long. After extensive research online I came across Lynn. She was extremely prompt in replying to my email and within two days we were at her house with our dog for the meet and greet to make sure everyone would get along. It is obvious from the time you walk into their house that both Lynn and her husband are genuine people who will truly care for your pet like a member of their own family while you are gone. After about an hour of letting our dog and theirs get comfortable with each other and the humans also getting to know each other I knew we had found the right people to take care of our dog. While we were on vacation I got daily updates and pictures of all of the fun our dog was having on his "vacation". Our dog is the most important part of our family and it was very obvious that he was treated the same way in her home. He even slept on Lynn's bed right behind her legs, just like part of the family! He is home now and it is clear that he was well loved and well taken care of while in Lynn's home. I will not hesitate to leave my dog with Lynn and her family in the future when we go out of town again. read more

Lynn took care of my kitties when I was out of town recently and I was very pleased! I have one very scared cat that warmed up to Lynn on her introductory visit and even ate in front of her on her first day - Wow! That's very unusual and since she sent me pictures and videos it enabled me to relax knowing my crew was in good hands. She did a wonderful job and kept me updated. I will certainly use her services again. Most importantly, it was very evident that she has a special bond with animals - that "it" factor. Thanks Lynn! read more

Lynn has been visiting my cat, Boo, since 2006. She is always reliable, conscientious and attentive. I love that she spends time with Boo when I'm gone and keeps an eye on the house and notes anything that doesn't seem right. I trust her 100%. And she sends me great pics of my cat while I'm gone! She's terrific and goes above and beyond! read more

I have been using Lynn to come over and take care of my two cats for about a year and a half now since moving back to CO. I have used several petsitters in the past and am pretty picky about who I want to take care of my pets and house while I am out of town. In first meeting Lynn I felt reassurance that she is someone who takes the job seriously and also deeply cares about the animals that she takes care of. Some sitters that I have hired in the past seemed like they were just doing a job and I didn't feel fully comfortable with them but with Lynn I never got that feeling. She is very thorough from the first interview in learning about and taking notes on all of the needs of your pet and even went above and beyond by stopping by a couple times on unscheduled days just to check up on our cats. Lynn also send picture text messages to you of your pet so you can see how they are doing, this is something that I like a lot and have not had from other petsitters I hired. She also watered my plants and brought in our mail. I would definitely recommend Lynn to others looking to hire a petsitter. read more
