My wife and I planned a 4 day trip out of town and Lissa said it would not be a problem for her to care for my Maltizhu out of our home. Her prices were extremely reasonable, especially since she had to come by the house 3 times a day and be sure to give my dog his seizure medications every 12 hours. She was so prompt with her times, she texted me a picture of my dog every time she cared for him. She also took the time to come over to the house prior to our trip to introduce herself to Rosco and make sure she had all the required information to care for my dog. I would give her 10 stars if I could. If your looking for a reliable and dependable and trustworthy pet sitter then I highly recommend her services. I will certainly utilize her services in the future.

I looked up dog walking services yesterday on Yelp and was impressed by Abi's website. Very professional. I called and she was able to come meet Chewy right away. My place of work through me under the bus with this traveling thing, but Colorado Peak Puppy helped me take care of my dog. Chewy will be seeing Abi regularly as well because there are times I play in a softball league after work. I no longer have to leave Chewy alone for 14 hours. Abi can take care of him in the afternoon and he'll get his exercise for the day. I recommend this to anyone. In addition, most recently, I recommended Colorado Peak Puppy to a friend and they have had such a great experience with Abi. Abi is dependable and that is sometimes hard to find in small businesses these days. My friend backs up everything I just said and is impressed with her dog's improved behavior since Abi has been walking her. My friend states that Abi must be doing a little training while on the walks. I am not saying this would be true for all dogs, but I truly believe Abi has dogs' best interest at heart.

She first tried to bribe me with paying for my carpet cleaning if I removed the bad rating. Then in the same breath she threatened me with a lawsuit if I didn't. This is another demonstration of unprofessional behavior. I WILL NOT BE BULLIED by a service provider and capitulate to her threat by removing an honest review. She can hire a lawyer if she wants but when it comes to libel or slander, truth is the ultimate defense. I will keep her message on my message machine for the indefinite future and will be happy to provide it to her attorney, if she actually has one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ORIGINAL REVIEW: Well, it breaks my heart to write this review, but I'd be remiss if I didn't. I travel a lot, especially a lot of overseas travel. I had used Lynn and Debbie for some time but after a series of rather shocking mishaps, I terminated our relationship. Here are a few of the issues: 1. One of the two was engaged to kitty sit for four days. I came home early only to find the litter box had not been emptied for at least three of the four days, so my cat decided to mess on the carpet because of her box being overfilled. 2. I have a dome litter box, and one of the two decided to leave the lid off while I was gone because it was "too hard to put on" (stuff and nonsense) so when my kitty did use the box, she saturated the surrounding carpet. $200 to have the carpet and pad cleaned afterwards. 3. When one of the two had an unfortunate encounter with the court system and was required to spend some room-and-board time with the local police, I was aghast to find out they have no backup system - if you're overseas, and something happens to them, YOUR PET WILL BE LEFT ALONE FOR THE REMAINDER OF YOUR TRIP. Needless to say, this is phenomenally distressing. I don't have local family here in the Denver area, so I depend on PROFESSIONALS I hire to do their job and make plans for when they can't. 4. They only take cash - no checks, no credit cards - for reasons one can only guess. It's very inconvenient to the customer, but they have their reasons for not wanting anything but cash. (I'm an accountant. We refer to cash-only businesses as paper-trail avoiders). I get that, but when you pay cash in advance, and they take the cash but don't visit the kitty as promised, well, there's a word for that. Not a good word, either. All in all, very distressing, very unprofessional. They may be great with dog walking if you're home, but if you depend on them when you travel, you do so at your own peril.

I hired Josh and his team for watching my pups while I'm out of town sometimes on the weekends. My apartment is always in great shape when I come back from being out of town, and my little fatties are well-fed and well-loved. I don't have to worry about them booking up way far in advance, which is really nice. It's been very easy to schedule last-minute appointments and make changes when needed. Last time I was out of town, my flight back was canceled because of bad weather. I called Josh, and he personally made sure to check on my dogs a couple more times until I was able to get back the next day on a later flight. My only complaint (and it's a very minor one!) is the functionality of the site on which I book my appointments. It's not the most user-friendly. But I'm willing to deal with that small detail to get excellent service from Updog. I highly recommend them!
