Fabulous company that really cares about the dogs!! We have used Denver Dog Joggers for years for our Lagotto Romagnolo, Luca, and can't say enough good things about their staff -- from the well-trained, professional, reliable, conscientious, passionate runners to the attentive administrative folks. I am particularly impressed with the communication following every outing: a written report that includes the route, distance, photos, and notes. I don't know that we'd do without them! read more

My dog was accused of being aggressive and snapping at a dog walker. I was in the room when the dog walker came in (he reported that I was not, which is totally false) and he said my dog was aggressive. Because of that they decided to end dog walking services for us. When I did call and discuss the situation with them they offered to come out and reassess our dg but they also threatened that they could call animal control if they decided it was needed. I declined their offer for reassessment because I do not want animal control to be called on my dog based off of completely false accusations. I saw everything with my own eyes and even interacted with the dog walker when he came in and we gave my dog treats together. After which he continued to report that my dog was aggressive. My dog is not aggressive. Period. End of story. On top of that they do a summary of the walk and as part of the summary he did not report any issues at all. BE AWARE and BE CAREFUL if you are not there when they are walking their dog, they could report false situations. read more

The service these folks offer is terrific. We did a trial run with Chris, who said our dog, Rameses, was the 'perfect candidate' for the service, and it looked like everything was set. However, our dog is skittish, due to having suffered terrible physical abuse as a pup, so I made the following request of Jacob, who'd noted a surcharge might apply: "I'm sure that you will understand that my priority is the well being of Rameses, so I would need to feel that whoever is running with him is a 'fit' before signing off on a primary runner designation. And for that matter, I would not simply 'hand him over' to a runner I'd not had a chance to meet, and would want to observe the dynamic between that runner and Rameses. I'm quite willing to pay extra to make sure all three of us are comfortable with the situation!" Too much to ask - sad to say, this was enough for Jacob to decline service. So if your pup has been abused or traumatized and might not be comfortable with a stranger they've never met to show up to run with him or her without spending a few minutes to warm up first - even if you're willing to pay for it - don't look for understanding, let alone, compassion from this service. As Jacob made clear, traumatized dogs don't fit his business model. read more

I have used Denver Dog Joggers for about 18 months. Initially I needed the service because I broke my foot and then decided to continue after I recovered because my now 3 y/o 102 lb lab rescue loves running with Kristen. He was hyperactive and reactive when we started with the service. He's now calmed down to the point of being manageable. This dog jogging service has contributed to his improvement in behavior. I highly recommend them especially if you have a high energy dog. read more

This is one of the best dog walking services I have encountered in 10 years. We just moved from DC and I was so stressed out about finding a new dog walker and I am so thankful for Denver Dog Joggers. They are incredibly organized and professional and you can tell they genuinely care about their clients (furry and human). We utilize their service 5 days a week (2 runs and 3 fast walks) and my dog, Archie, is SO HAPPY. The scheduling and payment system as well as the daily reports they provide are amazing. read more

The DDJ team is AWESOME! My pup gets a 30 or 45 min run 1-2 times per week while we are at work. It takes so much stress off of us knowing that he's not just sitting at home alone all day. They have a really great scheduling system too! A dog walker is almost the same price so it really makes no sense to not hire DDJ. They take him no matter the weather (minus if it's too hot). They also leave you a fun note/summary on the website so you can check up on his run progress. THANKS guys! read more

Denver Dog Joggers is an amazing company and a life saver!! They are the only reason we feel so comfortable leaving town and leaving our dogs at home - we know our dogs will be able to get out of the house, have fun, and be in trustworthy hands. Each of the runners is so caring, knowledgeable, and flexible. I love that they're willing to go with the flow in terms of what our dogs are feeling up to - if our one dog for whatever reason doesn't want to do the walk, they will cater to her and just hang and give her love and affection while still also meeting the needs of our other dog. The owner Jacob has consistently been so communicative and helpful in trying to make sure our random and specific dog-jogging needs are taken care of! We are so grateful for DDJ and we will continue to recommend them to every dog owner we know! read more

These people are great!! We have a reactive high anxiety shepherd mix who gets walked every night with her elder statesman lab brother, but she needs more. Rain or shine, these runners show up between 8 and 11 on Tuesday's and Thursday's and she gets her run on for 30 minutes. You can set your schedule online and make changes as you need after the initial meeting. Highly recommend!! read more

Denver Dog Joggers has been amazing and given us peace of mind with our pup. First they came out to meet our pup using social distancing but was very important to know that they were a good match and that my pup liked them! I was surprised at the knowledge they have in regards to giant breeds and appreciated their training tips. I love the journal they send with pictures and gps map- makes a long day a little more bearable! Really appreciate they went out of their way to secure my home when I left the back door unlocked and it was open! Really appreciate knowing my pup is in good hands! read more

I happened to stumble on DDJ through a quick google search. We were going out of town for a couple weeks and I hated the idea of leaving our dogs pent up in a house without good exercise to keep their minds calm. Scheduling with this company is absurdly easy; it's all done through an internet portal. They show up, run your dogs, take pictures, and leave commentary about the experience. As an owner, you can check in, look at pics of your pups, and rest easy knowing that they're well-cared for. I would recommend this company to literally anyone who is committed to getting their dogs out during busy weeks/times of life/vacation. The owner came by to run our dog for the first few times to get a feel for their personalities, pace, and needs and it was evident how good he is with dogs and what an expert he is. These guys are legit. We may be moving soon, and losing them is going to be one of the things we will miss most. read more
