Took my pup in for some irritation he was having around his eye wrinkles. His eye wrinkles are sensitive to changes in weather and moisture. Dr. Thomas recommended a foam made for yeast and skin infections. I noticed the irritation in his wrinkles improved after the first two applications. The solution she recommended can be purchased directly from the vet, in-store or online and the bottle will last for several months. This is a great solution for my pet and his sensitive skin. They finally took me in a room at 8:15. The nurse came in an took her vitals and said the vet would be in shortly , at 8:45 I noticed my dog was not responding so went to the front desk and told them something was wrong with Tiny and finally the doctor came in and they took her away. I finally decided to have her uthenized because they informed me she would not make it through surgery. I think if they had treated this as an emergency she would have been saved. They took too long to see her. I am devastated too lose my sweet little Tiny.

We wanted to address the behavior early rather than let it become more established, so within about six weeks of it starting, we enrolled her in a board-and-train program. We ultimately decided to put both of our Aussies through separate programs: both females, one five years old and the other about a year and a half. The difference has been night and day. Both dogs now have reliable recall, walk calmly on leash, and for the first time, we feel genuinely confident having them off leash. They no longer react to wildlife or other dogs on hikes, the fence running and excessive barking have stopped, and they can calmly sit with us at outdoor cafes and other dog-friendly public spaces. The "place" command has been especially valuable. They can settle calmly for extended periods, which has been a true game changer both at home and when we're out with them. Most importantly, both dogs seem more confident because they understand what is expected of them. My husband and I are also much more consistent and aligned in how we communicate with them and provide the structure they need to be successful. We've enjoyed continuing to work with them every day and building on the foundation Juliet provided. The overall atmosphere in our home is noticeably calmer, more harmonious, and far less frustrating for both us and the dogs. Juliet has also continued to follow up and check in to make sure the dogs are doing well, which is something you don't always see once a training program is finished. It's a tangible sign that she genuinely cares about the dogs' long-term success, and it has reinforced for us that this was absolutely the right investment for our family.

I have 3 rescue dogs. I absolutely love them to death. They are the sweetest, most loving animals…read morehere at home. Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. I was taking my dogs to LDP for 20+ years and spent thousands on overnight care as I travel a lot for business. In October 2025 one of my dogs was injured while at daycare and the way the injury was handled was unacceptable. During a meeting with the new owners, they explained "they were not trained for such things". They did the right thing and paid the $1000 vet bill for my dog which was incurred when I returned and found his wound to be severe and close to infection. I am told since this incident there is a policy & procedure manual created for the employees and owners and training has been done to avoid an incident like this in the future. Please ask to see this document as the same employees are still working there.

The vet told us he does not have cancer & said the nose looked like it was scraped pretty deep by a razor or a clipper. It's the fact that you or whoever groomed my dog weren't transparent with what happened when I picked him up. Instead you guys tried to cover it up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dishonest & shady business. I am putting my review here to let others know so their fur babies don't come here. My dog Yuki came out of his groom with part of his nose shaved off (See attached pictures). I noticed that his nose was extra shiny when I picked him up like they tried to cover their accident up with ointment. We didn't think too much about it as his nose was still black. However, over the next few days, whatever they put on him wore off & you can very clearly see the deep cut on his nose as it turned very pink like the raw skin was exposed. When I reached out to the business to ask about what happened, rather than owning up to their mistake and being transparent on what happened, the owner recommended that we visit our vet because she claims the cut looked like cancer OR that he may have cut it coming out of the kennel. CANCER OR KENNEL?! First off, this cut mysteriously appeared right after his grooming appointment and what kind of kennel has sharp edges for his nose to be cut THIS deep??! The least she could have done was own up to their mistake and apologize but we received excuse after excuse so now we have to resort to a negative review to warn other people out there not to bring their fur babies to this business.
