This is my favorite sushi place to go because I don't eat fish. I only eat vegetarian sushi and they have a beautiful yam sushi roll as well as a mango sushi roll. I seem to have trouble finding vegetarian rolls and if I do find them at other places, they're never the quality of this one. The ambience is very small. I picked this spot cause it was 10 minutes away from my friend's place and it had pretty good reviews overall so I had high hopes for it, but was left disappointed. I had my phone out with my order receipt so I was just waiting for them to be done, but then a man who looked like the owner, walked out from the back to take a look around the restaurant. We made eye contact so I told him I was here for an online order. Showed him my phone and he didn't say a single word throughout the interaction and just pointed to the furthest table by the front of the restaurant and then just walks away to the back of the restaurant. I walked over to that table that he pointed at and looked at the packaged order and saw a receipt attached to it with my info so I just grabbed it and left. This interaction alone rubbed me the wrong way. It's my first time here so I didn't know what the process was for online pick ups and even if it wasn't my first time, he could've been more inviting and not be so rude and unfriendly to a paying customer. Anyways, I brought the food back to my friend's place and we unpacked everything and started to chow down. The rolls looked pretty, but not one single item stood out to me. It was all very very bland. :/ Out of all the rolls, I think the Lion King roll had the most flavor but the salmon on top of the roll was so tough and dry, even with the sauce on top. Not sure if this was an off day for them or not but like I said, I'll definitely not be coming back because there's plenty of other better sushi spots around here.
