It's usually pretty packed due to base traffic but service is quick. They also added the self check out registers. That location is the only one I've seen them at. I haven't been to this particular Wawa in years, especially since the shooting that took place here. There is a sign courtesy of the Norfolk police department posted that actually reminds you to lock your car up. I gave this store a second chance and what a mistake it was! I need to pee and the bathroom is just disgusting. Pretty sure there's a homeless woman in there getting high. I'm grabbing for toilet seat covers and engaging my quads in a deep squat to avoid actually sitting on the toilet. Great mini workout! I'm done quickly and now I'm thirsty. Since I use the app, I get lots of little rewards. I'm shopping around town and I noticed I had a free soda on the app. So I go into the store and there's not one single cup in sight. I go to the register and smile at the cashier. I greet her and ask where the cups are. This miserable person glared at me and grumbled that she had to ring me up, etc. She literally grabbed my phone right out of my hand to scan the app because it was apparently too much work for her to get out of her chair and extend her arm to scan my phone. How rude! So much for minimal contact! I finally get my soda three pours later because the worn down soda machine apparently needs servicing or the carbonation needs to be replaced. This store is dirty and nasty. Never again!

I've been getting gas here for years and have also come over a few times for lunch at subway in a pinch. It does get pretty busy during the lunch rush due to all the people who work nearby but otherwise it's pretty easy to get in and out of. It's located right near the primary hangars near the stoplight at buildings V-82 and V-64. So it's centrally located. Recently, I ran in to use the restroom and saw some things like sandwiches and salads to go and hot dogs. All looked appetizing to me and an easier grab and go item for lunch if the lines at subway are super long. This is a great spot if you're close to it for what you need if it's gas and snacks. Note: they sell car washes with gas purchase and if you do choose one, you save $.20 cents per gallon. However the car wash is located at the larger gas station by the actual NEX off Admiral Taussig Blvd so keep your receipt.
