While driving through the area I stopped in here to use the ATM and restroom. Wawa's have the best ATMs as they're free of fees. Also, the restroom here was actually somewhat clean, so that was nice. The parking lot was busy, as was the inside. Just the typical Wawa. read more

Wawa has been so great... in other areas! Not so much here. No cups at the soda fountain, horrible customer service... I haven't been to this particular Wawa in years, especially since the shooting that took place here. There is a sign courtesy of the Norfolk police department posted that actually reminds you to lock your car up. I gave this store a second chance and what a mistake it was! I need to pee and the bathroom is just disgusting. Pretty sure there's a homeless woman in there getting high. I'm grabbing for toilet seat covers and engaging my quads in a deep squat to avoid actually sitting on the toilet. Great mini workout! I'm done quickly and now I'm thirsty. Since I use the app, I get lots of little rewards. I'm shopping around town and I noticed I had a free soda on the app. So I go into the store and there's not one single cup in sight. I go to the register and smile at the cashier. I greet her and ask where the cups are. This miserable person glared at me and grumbled that she had to ring me up, etc. She literally grabbed my phone right out of my hand to scan the app because it was apparently too much work for her to get out of her chair and extend her arm to scan my phone. How rude! So much for minimal contact! I finally get my soda three pours later because the worn down soda machine apparently needs servicing or the carbonation needs to be replaced. I like to open my WAWA App and get whatever I'm wanting to eat and drink, pay from my phone and within a short time my order is hot and ready for pick-up. I ordered a chicken cheese steak. When it arrived the bread was so soggy I had to eat it without the bread. Chicken noodle soup was more broth Than chicken and noodles. I counted 6 noodles and 2 pieces of chicken. Won't order again. read more

My wife and daughter's go-to gas station in Norfolk. Each time I've gone, they've had a constant stream of customers inside and outside, especially in the mornings. I like the visible signage, 20 gas pumps with free squeegees/paper towel stations and the free air station in the Chesapeake Blvd corner. But paralleling the awkard entry points to the main store, I don't like the air station's (in)accessibility, not to mention that it's broken 50% of the time or has a long line of slow users the other 50% of time. Need diesel? They have it. Also sell food items ordered through kiosks inside, along with restrooms. Be prepared to be approached by peddlers, beggars or 'local organizations' fundraising. I don't mind but it's worth mentioning. read more

This used to be my favorite Wawa in the area to go to. Used to be. Now I avoid the place because you never know if it is going to be open or not. The lines there are always long. Trying to order food takes forever due to all the delivery service orders they are making when you try to order in store. Last time I went there for a sub I ended up waiting almost half an hour due to all the grubbub and doordash orders they were making before they got to mine. And they almost never have sizzlis when I stop there in the morning any more. They never seem to have enough people working to be able to actually offer the services that Wawa offers. And this doesn't seem to be an issue with any of the other convenience stores in the area, or any other Wawa I normally stop out in the area. Just this one. It's just super frustrating to visit there when half the time I stop by they aren't open, and the other half of the time when they are open they are out of whatever I stopped there to get. I don't know what needs to change, but something does before I will be going there anymore. read more

This panini is a joke. Southwestern chipotle chicken my butt. Dry as a bone, no "salsa", no "creamy chipotle sauce" like it says on menu. Husband is on lunch break and ran up there and I won't have him waste his time running back there when they messed up. I have been going here faithfully since it was first built. The store is clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful, I'm currently a student teacher and this is where I always get my coffee during the school week (I go to 7-11 on the weekends because I believe it has better flavors). They currently remodeled the store and it looks great. My only gripe is that the parking lot could be cleaner, and there are always soliciters on the outside. One more random thing is that I wish they would bring back the peach mango and strawberry banana slushees they had when they first opened up. Went to Wawa this morning to get my day started. arrived at 5:10 and there were zero sizzlis out. I asked the cashier when they would be out and she had asked the food people. She told me that they hadn't started yet and they wouldn't be out for a while. I googled when Wawa's breakfast starts and it says 5 AM, which makes sense because the past times I've gone at the same time, there was tons of options. Did not start my Monday off to a good start. The little he/she who waited on me or should I say didn't wait on me allowed someone to just walk right in and go to the front of the line then start laughing about it.!! Honestly the biggest waste of space. Should never expect much from food chains. Im not understanding how hard is it to make a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich. Or for that matter just follow simple instructions. There was a point to where this wawa was one of the best in the area. Now its just full of dumbasses trying to collect a check. This Wawa is on E. Little Creek Rd, so yes, its ghetto as hell--but guess what? They boast all the same benefits as non hood rich Wawa's, i.e., some of the cheapest gas in the area, awesome made to order sandwiches, $1 sweet tea that will be amongst the best you've ever tasted in your life, free air for your tires, and long ass lines that you're going to wait in because no other gas station comes close. I love Wawa, and even when you put it on a street as rough as E. Little Creek, I'm still going to support them, lol. WARNING!!!!! I went to get a gas at the pump when a guy asking money for gas so he can get home. i know this is scam. I told the guy to call his mom or friends so they will help him. He Become argumentative. He walk away then another guy from the left asking me for money so he can buy a sandwich. Both of them are in their 20's.
