I knew where everything was located. I bought all my eyeglasses in their vision department. They had great prices, frames and service. Since I've been retired I've kept my card but do much less shopping there because of the distance versus a rival warehouse store. There are items that Sam's carries that I can't find anywhere else. Their low calorie fudge bars are amazing. Fruits are excellent as are the large containers of thin sliced deli meats. They're perfect on Sam's rolls that come in large bags and stay fresh long periods of time if kept in the refrigerator. Heated a few seconds in the microwave before use they taste as fresh as when bought. The two items are perfect together as ham or roast beef rolls for holidays. Don't forget about the warehouse size bags of Sister Schubert frozen yeast rolls. It never hurts to browse the clothing and books. In fact, browsing the entire store might turn up items that are newly stocked. The location is on the southeast corner of S Plaza Trail facing Virginia Beach Boulevard. If you continue across the Boulevard , S Plaza becomes Little Neck Road. Fill up with gas and you're on your way. Thank you Sam's for all the decades of convenience in purchasing.

I was glad it wasn't overly packed like it can be sometimes in there. They had some ham and cheese croissants for breakfast that looked good, some new dips and whatnot. The take and bake section was looking a little skimpy, so I guess we came to late. There weren't any samples either, so I'm not sure if they don't do that on the weekends. I've been waiting to get a card because their normally out, so fortunately they had some this time. The customer service representative was nice. I'm so glad no cell phone salespeople stalked me through the aisles like last time. Lol. It was pretty peaceful without that. There were a few meats that were on clearance and the veggies and salads were reasonably priced. There were a few new things that caught my eye. The deep dish pizza looked good. If my freezer wasn't so full I would have gotten it... The self checkout is pretty simple. If you're paying with cash you will have to go to a different register for a cashier to check you out. They also have rewards you can earn which I wasn't aware of. I was tempted to get a slice of pizza when we left ,but I was a good girl today. Lol. There was a little line, so I passed. The lady at the door checking receipts was really nice! Very upbeat and smiling! Check them out!!

I got a two piece spicy chicken tenders box with a side. I like that they have regular or spicy to choose from and I picked Mac n cheese as my side and you can choose a dipping sauce for the tenders. I was surprised at how good everything tasted and you actually get two whole pieces of chicken tenders! Almost every where else the "tenders" are just cut up strips of tenders. And the Mac n cheese was pretty good for stovetop Mac n cheese. It was a simple meal but it was done right. I will definitely comeback and try their other chicken meals

The turkey sausage sub tasted rubbery like it had been reheated/microwaved too long as well, the 1 roll was the only thing that tasted edible. Probably because it required no cooking! The quality of cooking has gone down so much that i won't risk driving across town for bad food again. Royal Farms, your chicken has an excellent reputation for being the best. There is no working hard to get the fruit off the core. Slice around the perimeter and just pull the sides apart, leaving only the core and no residue. They are absolutely perfect. Among my purchases was the Costco sized box of the Premier Protein Pancakes that I'm eating on my high protein diet. They come to packs of three and are soft, fluffy & yummy. Included in my food tracking is the 16g of protein that each serving of 3 provides. The final purchase today was one of their store prepared Kirkland Signature entrees. I thought my voice might have improved enough to eat out tonight. But I still have to strain and don't want to risk the progress. Costco's CHICKEN ALFREDO is prepared using their rotisserie chicken. It is made the perfect meal by adding frozen green peas, which make for a balanced meal. Delivery is especially beneficial. Thank you Costco for being my "go to" for some of my favorite foods.

My daughter instantly noticed the shake and smoothie machine and told me I had to try it out since she's had it before. The concept of the machine was super cool. You select the cup of shake or smoothie from the freezer, place it in the machine, select your level of thickness, then the machine turns it into the drink. I chose the Oreo flavor and it was very tasty. Once we ordered our chicken from the kiosk, we paid for our meals and chatted with the staff about Royal Farms. She shared with us the perks of signing up for the Royal Farms Rewards Card and how it helps you save on gas, among other benefits. We then grabbed our chicken to go and I must say, it was much better this time than the last time! The chicken was very fresh, crispy and flavorful. We got 10 wings for $9.95, and they were WHOLE WINGS, not buggalo wingettes. And they were so huge, honestly we never saw wings this big..... And we got a bunch of tenders, which were also huge!! We ain't talking standard burger joint tenders. Oh no. The chicken is very lightly fried, crisp, and not oily. Very impressed. It's one of the few times in our family's history where all 5 of us agreed a food was awesome.
