This 7-Eleven was in the right place at the right time…read more Those of you who know me well know my panic level that comes with being low on fuel, especially if not in my part of town. So my stress level went into the red zone when my car went from 31 to 19 miles until empty. I had been looking for a 7-Eleven because I had rewards points but at that point any station would do. The gas station is quite conveniently located on the NW corner of the intersections of Kempsville & Centerville. It was an easy "in & out" if traveling south on Kempsville Road. The gas pump area was clean & up to date. I didn't go inside because I was already late for dinner with friends. The cost of gasoline was about 10 cents higher than the 7-Elevens located in the NW area of Kempsville where I should have stopped while running errands a few days earlier. Andddd.... My rewards discount had expired the prior day, But at that moment in time I would have paid any price. After I filled up with gas I felt my Blood Pressure decrease dramatically. :) Thank you 7-Eleven for being exactly where I needed you to be.

I went to this location solely to heat up my food for lunch, they have just about all your needs when it comes to food, snacks and beverages you may desire without having to go in the large supermarkets that have long lines and waits ( well not at this moment in time with this pandemic sweeping the nation ) but you see where I'm going with this!. I excluded a star because this location is difficult for me to maneuver my work truck in and out of the parking lot because it's considerably smaller than other locations.

Just got my prescriptions from the drive thru and the woman working was so nice. I asked if they…read moresold Flonase in the drive thru and she said not normally, but they weren't that busy so she went out and grabbed me one. It was very sweet. I will say sometimes it takes quite a while to get your prescriptions, so be smart about what time you go. For instance, 5:00 is peak time and The line is always long. But if you go at 8:30, when I just went, it'll be very quick. Also, if you go to Walgreen a lot, it's definitely beneficial to be a reward member. You save a lot of money and you get discounts.

I've never had a good experience here but I haven't had a bad enough to leave a review until today. My husband had a prescription sent over from telehealth on Sunday. He called first thing this morning to ensure it was received. It was an antibiotic and steroid that needed to be started ASAP. He was advised that they received over 55 prescriptions so understandably they couldn't give him a time of when it would be completed. However, he called again around 1pm to check on it. He was advised it had been filled and was ready for pick up. They have a CB lunch break from 1:30-2pm so around 2:15pm I waited in the drive thru line for about 20min with 3 hungry kids to pick it up. When I arrived at the window I was advised it wasn't filled and to go wait in the parking lot or swing back around (even though no one was behind me) and wait another 15min while they fill it. I asked why we were told it was ready and I was met with a short tone simply saying "he wasn't" I was irritated and asked if it would really take 15min... the response was that I needed to move along and go wait somewhere else for 15min and no one told us it was ready. I took the kids home and then went back to get the prescription. I waited for a couple cars. One took 15min at the window (I did time it, so I'm assuming they refused to wait elsewhere) the other car was just 2 min. I was able to get the prescription on my second visit. Although I was able to get what I needed this time, the interaction was short and definitely did not leave me with a desire to return. We've found another pharmacy to try for our prescriptions going forward, I don't mind driving farther for better service.
