However, there are more negative than positive and this is not a station I frequent. First of all why does yelp refuse to change the name. It's not Racetrac, it's Raceway. When asking yelp to change they reviewed it and left it the same. So if your looking for Racetrac you will not find it. So there are two listings, same address and my reviews identical. There is often debris in the area, not significant, but enough. The clientele at this fueling station would rather throw down trash by the pumps then put it in the can...go figure. The pump I most recently used had a missing enter button. That is an issue when it is required for a response to hit "enter" and your unsure where it is. I also like to use AMEX and they do not accept it. What is more frustrating is they do not have signs saying what they do accept. So when it said see the attendant I had no idea why. The attendant was with a customer and talking on his wireless head piece. I would not have been happy if I was that customer. He informed me NO AMEX. If I'm in the area okay if I must. But I will not go out of my way.

I went into the store and purchased $45.00 worth of premium gas a bag of chips. I went in instead of paying at the pump because my debit card and bank account was hacked 2 weeks ago. The night before this incident, the last time my card was used was me purchasing gas at the pump. I completed my purchase, walked to the passenger side of my truck, which will automatically unlock as long as my key is on me. The truck unlocked, I put my purse and my chips on the seat and closed the door. Little did I know, I had just locked myself out of the truck. I finished pumping my gas, walked back in and asked the lady behind the counter, if I could use the phone as I had just locked myself out of my vehicle. She did "Not" hesitate to hand me the store phone, I called my husband to bring the spare key....no problem!!! She even allowed me to stay inside the store because it is in the lower 50's and it's cold outside. She was very nice and I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart! So you may be asking what the problem is.......I decided to walk outside and wait on my husband, I had been waiting on my husband for over an hour. My hubby did tell me that he was just leaving the hardware store and needed to go home first to retrieve the key to my vehicle. I walked back into the store and asked one of the two men that was standing behind the counter if I could use the phone? The first one said no and then he asked the other one if I could use phone and he said no! I explained to him the situation and also told him that the lady who was previously here had allowed me to use the phone, he still said no because it would cost the store for me to make a local phone call! A young man who works for Fed Ex over heard the conversation, I turned around and asked him if I could use his phone and he said no problem mam and gave me his phone! I called my husband and he showed up 5 minutes later. By this time I was furious! So, I can patronize your business but you could not help me, a women, by myself, all of my belongings locked up in the truck and you couldn't patronize me enough to let me make a phone call! I will "Never" patronize this Raceway again!!! I'm so done! Thank God my life wasn't in jeopardy! I am so sad that in this day and time that we can't be here to help one another in a time of need! Another great 7-Eleven experience! This may be my new favorite store…read more The 7-Eleven Rewards App offered me an added discount this week that was nearing the end of its window. Leaving Wegman's I searched for a 7-Eleven on my route home that had the lowest price. This station was the closest one. Taking my normal route out the back of the grocery store parking lot onto Columbus Street, I referred to my GPS as normal to avoid traffic problems. Expecting it to send me across Virginia Beach Boulevard into Aragona Village, I was surprised that it directed me to continue on Columbus until the road became Cleveland Street. Well OK, there must be traffic. So I followed the path. How surprising it was when the 7-Eleven quickly showed up on the northeast corner of the intersections of Cleveland & Aragona. The location was just west of the spot where Columbus becomes Cleveland. The station was clean and well maintained. It was built in the design of the newest 7-Elevens. Even though it's in a somewhat "off the beaten path" location, the pumps were quite busy at the late afternoon time I frequented the store. Others obviously had discovered the station, since I can't envision that it would be the normal route home for many individuals. My 7-Eleven Rewards gave me a 12 cent discount. Instead of the store's $2.94 price my gasoline cost $2.82 a gallon. So convenient was the ability to complete the entire transaction and receive the receipt on the App. There was no card swiping or choosing gasoline type required on the pump. That's all done on the App. All I had to do was to fill my car with gas. The cold groceries I had just purchased were kept cool because of the quick and easy fuel stop. This 7-Eleven is the perfect stop after visiting my grocery store of choice. I'll be returning quite often.

I was told rudely that they don't have public restroom. I beg her because I couldn't help myself anymore. But unfortunately I was turned away and so rudely. I wish that they will never go through what I went through. Thankfully I was able to hold it until I get to another gas station. Pitiful.

When I was still working Sam's Club was my warehouse of choice. Shopping there at least once and…read moreweek and purchasing all my fuel there, it felt familiar and comfortable. I knew where everything was located. I bought all my eyeglasses in their vision department. They had great prices, frames and service. Since I've been retired I've kept my card but do much less shopping there because of the distance versus a rival warehouse store. There are items that Sam's carries that I can't find anywhere else. Their low calorie fudge bars are amazing. Fruits are excellent as are the large containers of thin sliced deli meats. They're perfect on Sam's rolls that come in large bags and stay fresh long periods of time if kept in the refrigerator. Heated a few seconds in the microwave before use they taste as fresh as when bought. The two items are perfect together as ham or roast beef rolls for holidays. Don't forget about the warehouse size bags of Sister Schubert frozen yeast rolls. It never hurts to browse the clothing and books. In fact, browsing the entire store might turn up items that are newly stocked. The location is on the southeast corner of S Plaza Trail facing Virginia Beach Boulevard. If you continue across the Boulevard , S Plaza becomes Little Neck Road. Fill up with gas and you're on your way. Thank you Sam's for all the decades of convenience in purchasing.

I was glad it wasn't overly packed like it can be sometimes in there. They had some ham and cheese croissants for breakfast that looked good, some new dips and whatnot. The take and bake section was looking a little skimpy, so I guess we came to late. There weren't any samples either, so I'm not sure if they don't do that on the weekends. I've been waiting to get a card because their normally out, so fortunately they had some this time. The customer service representative was nice. I'm so glad no cell phone salespeople stalked me through the aisles like last time. Lol. It was pretty peaceful without that. There were a few meats that were on clearance and the veggies and salads were reasonably priced. There were a few new things that caught my eye. The deep dish pizza looked good. If my freezer wasn't so full I would have gotten it... The self checkout is pretty simple. If you're paying with cash you will have to go to a different register for a cashier to check you out. They also have rewards you can earn which I wasn't aware of. I was tempted to get a slice of pizza when we left ,but I was a good girl today. Lol. There was a little line, so I passed. Exit the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel at the first exit heading east, towards the beaches. It will be almost immediately on the left on Shore Drive, the road you exited to. For those of us that are locals, exit Northampton Boulevard (Hwy 13) to the east on Shore Drive, the last exit before the CBBT. It is almost immediately on the left, just beyond the new Chesapeake Beach Fire & Rescue Station. The pricing is comparable to the nearest gas stations, Wawa & Kroger. But I think the access is easier, especially for travelers. The station is clean, safe & well lit. I've never gone inside. So I can't speak to that area. I'll definitely use the Sunoco again in the future.
