So I wasn't sure how I would feel about this spot that has drawn such praise. Tonight I was gifted a barbecue sandwich with coleslaw on the side from this Janaf area location. It was the best barbecue sandwich I've ever had. The barbecue was perfectly prepared with a sauce that had a little bit of a kick, just enough hot to really add to the taste. The pulled pork couldn't have been better. It had absolutely no hint of fat. Normally I order barbecue without a bun because the bun overpowers the barbecue. Not so with Cook Out. The bun was small & flat and the barbecue itself was the main course of the sandwich. The coleslaw was perfect. It was prepared without all the sauce that some restaurants apply in an over abundance.
