This used to be my go-to place for no-chip pedicures because its close to home, they were reasonable and did good work. But after 3 recent nightmares, I am DONE. #1 THEY HAVE MICE! I saw 2 running across the floor there last night. So ladies do not put your coats or purses on the floor because you could wind up bringing home an unwanted pet. (I called the Village today to report) #2 I stopped in for pedi around the holidays. Tina was my tech and I am not exaggerating when I say that my pedicure took 2 HOURS . And it was just a basic no chip ,nothing special so its not like I was being pampered the entire time. By the time it was done, my body actually hurt from sitting in that stupid uncomfortable chair for so long. She literally took a half hour to just remove my polish (which as with all no chip is always drilled off) and didn't even do that great of a job. #3 I went back a few more times and had decent service and went back in 2 nights ago. Sadly I got Tina again. I thought, ok maybe last time she was having "a day". Nope, again, basic pedi took almost 2 hours and I was literally the last customer left and most of the staff had left already. I got home and my toes felt sticky and fuzz was sticking to them so the gel polish hadn't even cured even though she used the UV light (which probably was cheap or bulb was weak). So I had to go back the next night to get it fixed ( I have a full schedule so was irritated that I had to make the time to go back after being there 2 hours the night before). Of course they summoned Tina up and she took me back to redo the polish. She told me to pick a different color since it was probably the polish since it was glitter (which NO-I have been getting gel nails for years on my fingers as well and I know better). I seriously had no desire to even argue-plus honestly I am not too picky about my toes in the winter ) so I picked another. It was literally a polish change and I WAS THERE ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES! Again it took her at leas a half hour to drill off the polish. It was during this time that I saw the mice that I mentioned and I REALLY wanted to GTFO. In the end, it took me 2 visits and almost 4 hours to get a no chip pedi. I don't have time to waste like that. So I am done. As I was bent down to put my shoes on, there was a horrible smell coming from the area around the tub on the chair next to mine. Almost a musty, moldly smell. So needless to say based on what I experienced they do NOT clean anything properly and the place is rather dirty as I started to really look around. They really need to get a good health inspection and I am hoping that my call to the Village will prompt that. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. From the moment I sat down it was a horrible experience. I was suppose to receive a no chip manicure and I'm not sure what I walked out with. Had to ask them numerous times to cut the cuticles (which he wasn't gonna do). When I was done my nails looked like a hot mess. I either had nail polish uneven or not covering parts of my nails. I've been looking for a nail salon and decided to try Happy Nails as it's relatively close to my home. I've been three times and each time was satisfied with the service of the nail technician. I left my third and last visit today with an unsettling experience. When I went to check out the price was slightly higher than my last in which I received the same service so I questioned the difference. A worker at the front, unfortunately I didn't catch his name, tried to explain the difference while he was yelling at a new employee along with being extremely short and obviously agitated with me for even inquiring. I tried to no avail to explain to him that I was a relatively new customer and just wanted to understand what I was paying. I was then with a dismissive tone told to talk to the manager. When I choose a new service provider, ie. nail salon, beautician, I'm a loyal and regular patron along with highly recommending it to others. First time going to this spot. I called yesterday a day before to schedule appt for 10:30am. They told me $60 and above depending on tech. I was surprised they got me in fast with tech as i arrived at 10:36am so kuddos there! The tech Lyly was nice however I wanted a pink and white full set. She proceeded to push pink powder with gel white polish. I had it before and it's cute but I wanted the pink and white powder as that's what I asked for. I figured she didn't really understand or it was extra work she didn't want to do. I wasn't gonna argue or make a stink so we proceeded. She spent an good hour for the full set and they came out nice square French tip short. When the guy came around and ask for feedback I was honest and her demeanor changed but at this time my nails were completed. Was I satisfied yes, was this what I asked for no and tip,customer service goes a long way for me. I got this coupon from their website 15% off new client special that you could redeem for 1st time customers however when presented they seemed confused and therefore couldn't accept however if I wrote review I would get a percentage off which I did with QR code also I used cash got more off. The total was originally $55 but with doing the review and using cash it ended up being $49 and I gave $50 cash no tip and I will not be returning or recommending to anyone. I usually go to another nail salon however they are closed on Sundays and 2 of my nails came off and 1 was very loose( after 3 weeks) and I couldn't wait another day and was desperate so I came here. I haven't been to a nail shop in over two years. I finally go & I get a nail lady that doesn't even understand what I want. I asked her multiple times for a small red heart with the initial "H" & didn't get the "H" & got this ugly red heart. I asked for a simple square nail with French tip and the French tip lines are very messy the white wasn't cleaned up right & I paid $75?!! That is outrageous. Also the nails on both the left and right hands don't even seem to be the same shape. The right hand nails are wider than the left hand. I will not be going back to this place ever!!!! Returned to get it fixed and the "manager" scolded and questioned as to why I didn't know the name or number of the color. He said I need to take picture of nail-polish because these things happen. Two of my nails ruined when tech tried to remove a fake nail by tearing it off by hand until someone came over when he heard me say ouch and then told him to use a liquid remover. Two stars only because I love my nails (dip powder manicure) The decor in the place is very elegant and beautiful however the gentleman that did my pedicure did not do a great job, I had to ask for him to use the tool that resembles a cheese grater. I HAD long natural nails, and got an acrylic overlay. After they applied the acrylic they proceeded to file my actual nail from the bottom and completely damaged my natural nail. I grew my nails out for months for them to lose their length in seconds. Some had V cuts where they were only filed from the middle. I called to ask if this was normal and the manager responded with "we're busy right now" and hung up. This place is a literal sweatshop with unprofessional staff. read more

Absolutely the WORST nail salon with the WORST nail techs in history! My teenage sons took me for Mother's Day to treat me to a suprise mani/pedi. I asked for a French pedi/mani and David proceeded to paint my nails completely white. Then when I corrected him, he just painted the tip and I had to request that the pink clear layer as well as the top clear coat layer of clear be added. He did not apply cuticle oil until after it was mentioned. 1 day with the mani/pedi and the polish was coming off and I believe that's due to the fact that he continually added acetone to the bottles to thin out the polish. I truly appreciate my sons but this was a total waste of money. I would not recommend anyone spend another cent in that place. COMPLETE TRASH!!!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. Then have the nerve to try to upsell you on this bs service when they don't even know how to do the basic stuff.... RIDICULOUS! read more

I frequent this place quite often. While I am a very patient person, on my last visit I just needed a pedicure. They sat me in a chair and told me my technician will be there soon. As I waited over 40 minutes with no technician or even water in the pedicure bowl, I asked other technicians if they could find out what was happening and I was told they don't know. I saw other technicians finish other clients hoping I wiild be next, they simply walked past me and ignored me saying "excuse me". I then put my shoes back on and walked out. I came in for Full set & Pedicure. When you come in the door you have to sign in and inform the machine and a service person on what you come in for. I was assigned to someone who didn't do full sets. I was unaware she didn't do full sets until she finished my pedicure and took me to her booth to start my nails. She put my hands in water and cut my cuticles (Manicure) which I didn't know why she was doing it, I'm not the professional so I let her do her job. Until she started to pain my natural nails the color I had on my feet, I stopped her before she could even start the first nail and told her I came in for a full set. She got upset and said I asked her for a manicure.. I didn't. I asked her to assign me to someone who can do what I came in for and she insisted I pay for the service of manicure Hannah did my Full set. She did really good job on the shape and timely manner.
