I got two pedicures with Titi and Ana and they were the best pedicures I've ever had!

great customer service, but made hella mistakes with my nails, they're crooked and uneven. would only go to them to do my toes only. other than that they're okay. i would only recommend getting your feet done here and getting your nails done with a nail tech to prevent weird-looking nails. they'd also would whisper under their breath in a different language since i was correcting them about my service. read more

Formal Complaint Regarding Disrespectful and Demeaning Treatment at Happy Nails I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding the disrespectful and demeaning treatment I experienced at Happy Nails. After receiving eyebrow and eyelash services, I went to pay my bill, which totaled $74.06. I paid $62.05, and that amount was deducted from my bank account. I then transferred additional funds between my accounts to cover the remaining balance of approximately $17.00. However, the salon canceled or voided the transaction. When I asked why, I was initially told that the payment had not gone through. The manager then stated that the transaction had been voided. My daughter witnessed what happened and explained that I only needed to pay the remaining balance. She also pointed out that the $62.05 had already been taken out of my account. I showed the staff my banking information as proof of the transaction. I also saw that PayPal had deducted $17.00, and I transferred that amount to the account I intended to use to complete my payment. I explained to the staff that, regardless of the remaining balance, I did not understand why the transaction had been canceled when I was actively trying to pay. Instead of receiving a respectful explanation, the manager told me, "You don't have no money." I found this statement extremely disrespectful, embarrassing, and unprofessional, especially considering that I was providing evidence of my transactions and attempting to resolve the payment issue. My daughter took pictures of the charges and transaction details, which showed that the $62.05 payment was still processing. When I asked for a receipt, the staff became passive-aggressive toward me rather than addressing my concerns professionally. I left this experience feeling disrespected and demeaned. As a Black customer, I am deeply concerned that I was treated in a manner that was not only unprofessional but potentially discriminatory. No customer should be made to feel humiliated or belittled while attempting to pay for services. I expect customers to be treated with courtesy, fairness, and respect, regardless of their race or financial circumstances. I am requesting that the owner or management review this incident, clarify the handling of my payments, and address the way I was spoken to and treated. I have documentation of the transactions, along with photographs taken by my daughter, to support my account of what occurred. I hope this complaint will be taken seriously and that appropriate action will be taken to ensure that other customers do not experience similar treatment. Sincerely, A concerned customer read more

am extremely disappointed and offended by the way I was treated by the manager during my recent visit. While I was explaining that money had been withdrawn from my bank card, the manager responded in a demeaning manner, asking me whether I understood something and insinuating that I did not have money. Her tone was unnecessarily loud, disrespectful, and embarrassing. I was simply trying to explain a banking issue, and I deserved to be treated with dignity and respect. As a Black woman, I found this interaction deeply offensive and racially insensitive. No customer should be made to feel belittled, stereotyped, or humiliated when attempting to resolve a concern. The manager's behavior was deplorable and completely unacceptable. I have been a customer here for four years and see Emma weekly. My loyalty to this establishment makes this experience even more disappointing. I never expected to be treated this way by management, especially at a business within our own community. It is particularly concerning that experiences like this can contribute to Black women choosing to take their business elsewhere and sharing their experiences on social media to warn others. Businesses should be building trust within their communities, not creating situations that make customers feel unwelcome or disrespected. I expect this matter to be taken seriously. I would appreciate a response explaining how this incident will be addressed. My concern is not simply about a misunderstanding involving my bank card; it is about the manager's conduct, the manner in which I was spoken to, and the lack of respect I was shown as a paying customer. After four years of supporting this establishment, I deserve better. Every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect, regardless of race or financial circumstances. read more

I have been coming here for 6 years for one reason only: Emma. She is an incredibly talented, charismatic, and professional eyebrow esthetician. If this review were just for her, it would be a million stars. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff and management make this place entirely unsafe and demeaning for the Black community. The front desk is racially biased, belligerent, and deeply disrespectful. Today was the absolute last straw. I watched them completely mistreat a regular Black customer--someone who is always chic, demure, and keeps to herself. While she was paying, the cashier accidentally canceled her transaction on the tablet. A child standing nearby even called him out for hitting "void," which made the cashier give the kid a nasty look. The cashier then lied and told the woman her payment didn't go through. When she politely showed live, pending proof directly from her bank account and asked for a manager, things got ugly. Instead of resolving the glitch, the manager got indignant, hostile, and started screaming at her. The customer remained completely calm, even mentioning her Master's degree to de-escalate the belittling language they were using on her. The manager then started shrieking, "You don't got no money! We don't want your money, get out!" The customer ultimately had to pay twice just to leave in peace, and the manager arrogantly shouted that she didn't care about a bad review. Watching a professional, elegant woman be publicly humiliated and robbed by management because of the color of her skin was sickening. I stood up and walked out right then and there. My peace of mind is worth more than a beauty service. Emma deserves to work somewhere that matches her talent and treats human beings with basic dignity. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Last month I had no chip for the first time instead of dipped nails. Two nails chipped and broke. This time I decided to go back to dipped nails. After a couple of days one entire nails' polish fell off. Two days later in the morning another polished nail fell off, that night another on the other hand. Now I have lifting on several fingers and chipped nail on one. Never in my years of manicures have I had such results. Very disappointed and my hands are embarrassing. read more

Absolutely disgusting service. My two friends and I came in asking for regular manicures, yet we were each charged $74. While I was checking out, a man who didn't even do my nails briefly looked at them and then rang me up for a no-chip (gel) service--which is NOT what I asked for. There was zero communication about pricing or upgrades during the appointment. I later called to question the charge and was transferred multiple times, only to be told that my simple French tip design was an extra $22--again, something that was never mentioned beforehand. To make things worse, I was told to come in person if I had an issue, and then the employee hung up on me mid-conversation. Being overcharged is one thing, but the complete lack of transparency and disrespectful customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been a customer here for almost five years and have always scheduled appointments for eyebrow tinting--confirmed by years of text messages. Today I drove 30 minutes to my appointment only to be told they "don't schedule appointments for eyebrow tinting," which is completely inconsistent with my experience. The lack of consistency, communication, and respect for returning customers is extremely disappointing. After years of loyalty, I expected better. I will no longer be visiting this location and encourage others to be aware of their unreliable scheduling practices. People of Color STOP GIVING THIS PLACE BUSINESS. RUDE RUDE RUDE read more

I visited Happy Nails on 6/14 for a regular manicure and pedicure. The technician was friendly, and everything looked fine when I left. However, after a short nap and a quick shower that evening, every bit of my nail polish peeled off in sheets. It hadn't even lasted 7 hours. I returned the next morning when they opened and explained what happened. Instead of standing behind their work, I was told they do not guarantee regular polish--even though it failed in less than 7 hours. The manager was dismissive and rude, and while they offered to "try" to fit me in, there was no real effort to resolve the issue. If a salon can't guarantee a basic manicure will last even one day, they shouldn't offer the service. Poor quality and worse customer service. I won't be returning. read more

Got an acrylic overlay and no-chip polish, acrylic started lifting 2 days after and most of the polish was peeling off. The original nail tech was wonderful it was unfortunate the nails didn't last. I went in to get them fixed and the owner was extremely rude. A different nail tech, Kim had to fix them but was extremely rude. She rolled her eyes after every question I asked. I apologized to Kim although it ultimately wasn't my fault the nails had to be fixed. Overall, very disappointed. read more

Three days into my vacation my nail polish totally came off several toes, not chipped. During my pedicure something was added to the polish when she did my second foot. I have never had this experience. When I returned from vacation I contacted the manager and was informed of the 10 day policy and was told I would have to pay to get my toes re-polished with $5 discount. I stated I had the picture to show the date of the missing polish and that I had just come back from vacation. She did not care and tried to explain because it was regular polish and not no chip. Sometimes something is added if polish too thick. I will never go here again. Bad business and if you have a problem they can care less. Also when asking to speak to a manager there is a screening process to decide if you can speak to the manager- poor customer service! read more

I just did a polish change and DANNY didn't put a topcoat on my $25 no chip gel polish. I called up to the shop and was told I could come back, but I don't feel like driving back up there. My toes polish is also black, because it stuck to my shoe, because he didn't dry long enough. I had a really disappointing experience at Happy Nail Bar. I came in for a lash service that I was not happy with and politely asked if it could be corrected. Instead of being met with understanding or professionalism, I was treated with rudeness and complete dismissal. The worst part of the experience was the staff member at the front desk. I waited about 20 minutes before being acknowledged, only to be told to "check back in," which meant waiting even longer. When I asked for an estimated wait time, he avoided answering and repeatedly told me to "just wait," offering no clarity or courtesy. His attitude quickly became disrespectful--rolling his eyes, acting irritated, and even telling me "you talk too much" when I calmly asked why he seemed upset. I remained polite the entire time and simply expected basic customer service and respect as an adult. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespectful behavior made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this place based on how I was treated. read more

Micky always dies a great job on my nails & feet. She takes her time and is very creative with designs.

I used to go there regularly, but they have a problem with staffing. There is a very high turn over; every time I find a technician I like, they quickly leave. I have notice that the manager/owner can be rude and condescending, not only with the customers, but the staff as well. Terrible! I have had a very upsetting experience at this salon, the lady who did my nails was very harsh on my nails and did not even cut my cuticles nicely! the design I wanted on my nails was a very simple star and they couldn't even do it properly. This nail shop was the best experience I had so far with nail shop hunting lately good service and great customer service/hospitality

I was recommended this location to take my sister for her birthday. While the birthday girl loved her total experience, I unfortunately can't say the same. I will start with the good. I requested the Tropical Deluxe pedicure ($72) which I enjoyed. My issue came with my nails. The same guy that did my feet, was assigned to do my nails. I was like great. When discussing what I wanted done I requested powder dip and also coffin nails. I was told I couldn't receive the shape I wanted because I wanted them short (even through the pervious salon I went had no problem doing this). I them requested round shape and was talked into square. He then went to apply the no chip polish; I stopped him and reminded him that I wanted powder did like I stated. He told me that it was powder. I let him finish; know damn well the difference between powder and no chip I didn't want to make a scene and ruin my sister's day. I will give them another chance with a different tech. read more

Now I know why I stopped going to this shop. I thought I would give them another chance- big mistake! I'm being generous with 2 stars. The tech was nice enough, but the tips with dip he did are terrible. Not to mention he nicked the cuticles on 4 of my fingers. He did zero shaping - even after I asked him to fix a few. Lastly, it's very strange vibe to have other techs come over and just watch over your service and stare. No plans go back. Only perk was 15% off before 3 pm if you pay cash. However, not worth it as the quality and skill of the tech I had was poor. read more

Walked in, was asked to sign in. As I went to the machine, the same guy (3rd time) starts pressing buttons on the screen. I had no idea what he did, and as I told him to stop, he did. But this was the 3rd time. Their front staff says he does it all the time. You go back to get your service and they hand you a list of services- with no pricing. Last time it was $55 for a pedi. This time? $70. Same thing. Mgr came and said sorry, ge will talk to guy. Everyone kept saying sorry about his behavior. Never again. read more
