This place is horrible and have the worst customer services. I went a few weeks ago for gel manicure and brows. The lady who was taking care of my nails did a horrible job. Before she finished, I let her know that whatever too coat she put on the nail made the coat bubble. And it needed to be fixed. She took off the polish and did them Again, and once again it happens. Now I'm upset because I have to leave and I've been here for over an hour to get my nails done. I proceeded ti ask for the manager. He comes over, I begin to let hi. Know my issues and in mid sentence he walks off. Now I'm over it, the disrespect was at a all time high. I go to the front desk and the manager tells me I should be Lucky he was going ti help me. I'm not sure why he things a paying customer should be lucky. A big Asshole. I'm paying and tipping You and I'm not satisfied with the service. And he has the nerve to say I should be lucky. That need to shut this place down. I will never go back again. read more

I was going on vacation and needed my nails done. My usual nail shop was booked so I decided to try Happy Nails out. I only had an hour and to my surprise Sharon was able to do a no chip mani and pedi in an hour. She was very thorough and neat. I will definitely be returning. read more

I went here on Sunday May 23rd, for the first time. The nail shop was overly crowded. I got an overlay on my nails and a pedicure with no chip. It has been one went since getting the work done, and the polish on my nails are chipping. The polish on 4 of my toes fell off. I paid $80 for this trash. People save your money and go somewhere with quality work. If this is the type of service they are providing, then their prices need to me drastically lower. This place is TRASH, I can't say that enough. If i could post pictures i would. I Would NOT recommend, very trash!! read more

Just sharing my experience. My sister and I treated ourselves to mani pedis. First time out during a year and a half of the pandemic figured we'd do something nice in honor of graduation. The gentleman that helped me was very nice but had a very hard time understanding me, which didn't matter we got through it. The problem was the nail color application and the customer service after. I was very unhappy with the final outcome of my nails which was one color but I didn't have time for a fix because I had to run to work so I left. I came back the very next day half hour past opening time and was ignored at the door, when I was finally asked what I needed I expressed the problem and was told to come back at 7pm. I express I could not but could come back earlier or the next day and was ignored. I asked if I could please return for fix and was ignored, when I started talking again the lady at the front station became very irritated and raised her voice and said "I told you you come back at 7pm" and I said "I'm sorry I told you I can't is there anyway you can please help me at all with this problem?" She ignored me once more. At this point I should have walked out but was appalled at being yelled at in front of the salon and not a single sorry at least for the inconvenience. Honestly if the lady would have been profesional or at least simply nice I would have left and called it a day. I asked if I could please talk to a manager and she said she was the manager and yelled "I'm busy you come back at 7 or you no come back again!" I apologized to the girls in front witnessing everything because I could tell they were so uncomfortable and left. Needless to say I won't be recommending or returning and ask if the owner sees this please work with your manager on better customer service and provide more training to the nail techs. read more

I went in on Mother's Day and was greeted and seated immediately. It was a little busy so they had 2 people taking care of me but they kept me aware of what they were doing the whole time. Pro did a great job on my ombré nails, I've gotten several complements and even had someone ask to take a picture of them. There seems to be a bit of a language barrier with one person there but that's not a problem for me, I think people just need to be patient. I liked the work enough to recommend the shop to my friends and even take my mom as a birthday treat. read more

Disgusted !!!!! I have never been so insulted in my life . I've had two bad experiences here with the tech PRO and after the last one I will never be back , my family won't be back either . The nail tech PRO is extremely unprofessional and rude . He has a terrible attitude and rushes through nails. When you I asked to him to fix my ombré on one nail that didn't match he began getting an attitude and loud . The fix involved adding a tiny amount of acrylic and would have taken a few seconds . He told me that how it supposed to look and that he wasn't going to fix it and preceded get loud. I told him that he needed to finish my nails and that I didn't get this treatment in oakbrook and wouldn't be back . That send him through the roof and led to him mocking me repeatedly and slamming things !! I always tip very well and try to remain professional . Probably the first time I haven't tipped for a service . I'm disgusted !! These people moved into our community and treat us like trash !!! read more

The first time I went to Happy Nails I got a mani, pedi, and wax and the customer service was great! My first experience was so great that I left a pretty hefty tip. I honestly felt like I finally found a new spot for my nails and I was excited to go back. Today, I went in for a fill in, I wanted the same color, style, everything. The male nail technician that I had was apparently the technician that I had the first time but I couldn't tell because the second time around, his customer service was very poor. He started to shave my nails down too much and I KINDLY let him know before he started on the third nail that I didn't want to change the shape and repeated that I just wanted a fill in. He went back to fix the nails and continued with the rest of them. It seemed like he was still taking them down too much so I offered to show him a picture for reference like the first time. He got very defensive and literally told me "I didn't mess up the rest of your nails so I'm not doing them again". As a paying customer if I asked to have my hand redone he should have considered this or atleast handled it better. From that point on out I could tell he had an attitude by the way he "finished" the service. He only gave me ONE COAT of finishing gloss and unplugged the curing machine too soon, my nails were still sticky. I literally had to ask him to replug the machine so that my nails could finish and because he only did one coat of finishing gloss, I left their spa with DULL NAILS. I did nothing to warrant the type of service or (lackthereof) that I received and I am highly disappointed with today's visit. I ended up going to another nail spot to finish coating my nails because I didn't want to go back and risk another negative experience. His behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable! Unfortunately because of this, Happy Nails has lost a loyal customer that could have brought them alot more business. I will look for a new nail salon with better customer service. ETA: Upon reading the other reviews, it looks like alot of other customers have had the same distasteful experience with the same guy. His name is PRO. Do not waste your money to be disrespected at this place. read more

I got a no chip manicure didn't even last me week ! The nail tech even told me I'm going to add another coat so they will last but I can't believe it didn't even last me a week read more

Beautiful shop but poor customer service! The men would talk about the clients and laugh at them as if know one knew they where talking about that person. I'm not happy with my no chip or pedicure and I told Kevin to fix it and he said it's okay, well no tip for you and I will not go back. read more

I am just hoping the business owner sees this.... I called around 1015 and asked if I could come in at 11 for a fill. The woman on the phone said "yeah come in" and hung up. When I arrived at 1045 I chose my color and waited. I asked the tech "how long?" She said "when I'm done with her" (the person she was working on) ... ok "when I'm done with her" does not answer my question. I ask again "ok so how long" she responded "5 minutes" (mind you when she actually ended up finishing her it was 25 minutes) anyway, upon the second time I asked.. a man I was not talking to says "you don't have time?" I said no I live close so if it's 20 minutes I'll run home and come back. Now another lady appears and says she'll work on me (this lady was very polite and did a great job) while she was working on me this man says again "oh she doesn't have time" How rude is that? Was he really that mad I asked how long? And why did you need to bring it up again. Very unprofessional. Sorry my day doesn't revolve around getting my nails done and I would like to know how long I would be waiting. I just hope the owner sees that man caused them to lose me as a customer as well as my mother, sister, and friends. read more

This is by far one of the most unprofessional places I've went to to receive a horrible service. I called to ask if they accept appointments considering that I had to be at an event later that evening they said yes and I proceeded to book with them I scheduled a time for 4:30 so as I walk in I told the lady sitting in the front and she handed me a ticket which I was confused by because I made an appointment. We waited a whole hour before getting serviced and on top of that they were being extremely rude. They were rushing and on top of rushing we didn't get what we paid for the man named pyro is beyond rude and disgusting To women. He was grabbing my hand very aggressively and was getting an attitude for simple questions I had due to the fact that the dip powder wasn't sticking to my nails. This is by far one of the worst experiences I've had in any nail salons. read more

I went to this salon when it first opened to check it out. What a terrible decision. Upon arrival I requested a mani-pedi, got a price, was seated and work was started. At this time a different price was quoted. So a discussion with the tech and the check in lady ensued, with the check in lady claiming that I had requested a no chip manicure. Not knowing what that entailed, since the manicurist had already started, I let them do the no chip manicure. The nail tech, Tina cut off 2 of my cuticles completely, then she fried the skin on the back of my hands with the UV light. Not all of the damage was immediately apparent. But I went back to report it to the salon and was summarily dismissed. I have seen 3 doctors for the damage: 2 fingers with swelling where the cuticles used to be, the uv light dried out aged looking skin on my hands, 1 nail that no longer grows. The service was horrible, the practices were shady, and they showed no concern for the irrepable damage they caused. They should have been shut down but turns out it doesnt seem to be anyone's responsibility to monitor them. They dont deserve a 1 star review but that is the lowest one available. read more

I tried this place for the 1st time over the weekend. I gave the nail tech clear instructions for what i wanted done for my daughter nails. I went to sit down and returned to him doing something totally different. His response " this way is much better" referring to using a dip powder versus a nail polish! That was the first strike for me. 2nd, the work was rushed and horrible. Acrylic missing from the sides of the nails. I had him fix it only for him to not fix it! I showed him again and he attemps to fix it a 3rd time, this time polishing over dip powder. The outcome, still the same! I spoke with the manager whom acknowledged the nail tech was rushing and he asked me to come back tomorrow. I was totally pissed off by how they handled the situation. Not to mention, they are very over priced and charge a 3% service fee. I returned the following day and asked that they soak off the set and re do it however the manager said he would charge me $20 for a soak off even after he knew the issue first hand. BTW I also explained to him the situation and he was familiar with me being there the previous day. I then requested a refund of which he refused. His response was " I gave you $5 off". A pure fkn joke of a nail shop! I wouldn't dare recommend this place to anyone! Nail tech Jason read more

Very bad service , Pro definitely had an attitude and was very unprofessional ! Sloppy work ! Older guy tried to trick me into getting a higher price pedicure . They talked about me for hours in their language and made me feel very uncomfortable . Don't go here ladies , save your money for elsewhere . The 20% off services is a scam . read more
