So glad I found this place- Dee was great and did an amazing job. They have a ton of color options and different styles you can get (like cat eye), and their prices are very reasonable. I have gone to a lot of carrollton salons . Just trying them out to see what kind of job they can do on my nails. Been to One on Kelly , several in Josey lane , hebron pkwy , Keller springs everywhere . But I keep coming back to this place . Just 15 days ago I had to get nails done early morning before a meeting so I went to this other place off Kelly because I could not get in at Happy Nails because it was last minute so I went to one on Kelly and Bush . Paid 65$ and they left a pretty sloppy rushed job on the cuticles . My finger Nails made it to 15 days . I went today to HAPPY NAILS and got This pretty blue and matching toes and you know what the ladies are slower but meticulous on nails . They dont rush and they take care of each finger/toe leaving customer satisfied. They take pride in ther work read more

I would give them a 5 BUT I deducted one because the decor inside is pretty old and I'm sure whoever has been here would agree they need some remodeling. I don't get my nails done ALL the time, but when I do, I am EXTREMELY picky about every little detail. I get my nails done by Jenny here. She is awesome! I always get pink and white acrylic with gel. When Jenny does my nails they do not lift AT ALL! Even after weeks and weeks they just don't budge. Even when I try to remove them, they're just stuck to my nails. THAT'S how good she is. Of course, I always remind her to make sure they do not lift because I am constantly washing my hands. Get gel put on your nails if you love your nails looking nice and shiny. If you only get them buffed, they begin to look dull fast. Be sure to ask for Jenny when you get your nails done here. I'm not sure how the other ladies are at doing nails. read more

The nail polish was smooth and shiny, but when I checked my nails on my pedicure the nail tech did not take enough time to file and smooth them out, so I have jagged nails on smooth polish. In addition, the initial soaking water was really cold, and after mentioning that it was cold, they adjusted it, but it was at a maximum of lukewarm temperature. Then, during the pedicure the tech adjusted the water again, but now it was the opposite, at a scalding hot temperature. Sorry to be a hater, but my nails aren't so happy at Happy Nails. read more

Good but can be better. $35 for just getting dip powder nails with no manicure of any kind whatsoever is a lot. And the two times I've been they grazed my cuticles deep to the point where it hurt for days. But the nails looked great and it lasted long. read more

So not even worth doing my nails!!! I got the clear, natural looking NexGen Nails and a Deluxe Pedicure. She wouldn't listen, she kept telling me that's how it is supposed to be, they do things that charge extra without asking and the lady who did me was pushy and rude about it. She didn't get my cuticles, clip, or shape my nails before the did my NexGen so they are all jagged and uneven and each nail is a different shape and a different length. When she was grinding the powder smooth she kept putting the flat end of the grinder against my cuticles instead of pushing my cuticles down before using the dip and several of my fingers are sore and my cuticles are sensitive. The underneath of my nails feels gross and when I asked her to fix it since she just did the powder and ground them she said that I need to just wash my hands and that it is just dirt. There was clearly hardened powder under my nails. So she got the drill ground the underneath of my nail once again AGAINST MY SKIN and several of my nails are BLEEDING around the cuticles and underneath on my nail beds! Then she did the deluxe for my toes and it barely lasted any longer than a regular one and not only did she rush through it but when I told her my toe nail was uneven she said that it was just my toe. Excuse me? I know what my nails look like when they are done right and this is beyond not it! The one I usually go to the time is the massage and the spoiling and my They don't include painting the nails in the total time it takes to do the pedicure. I went with my mother in love and after they moved her to the tables to do her nails they sat an older woman in her seat and they didn't sanitize her chair they rinsed it out with water and. I they did not have plastic covers. Don't come here for your nails. They aren't worth your money! I'm going to my nail salon, Allure Nail Spa in Flower Mound, tomorrow so they can fix my nails that I no longer have. read more

I go back to college tomorrow and decided to get my nails done on a whim, I walked in around 10am this morning and I was taken care of immediately. Dee did my nails and WOW they turned out perfect! Not to mention she was incredibly funny, sweet, and thorough. The whole process took around an hour (which is normal) but Dee checked in with me after every step to make sure I was satisfied with her progress. Not only was she professional, she was personable as well which REALLY sold this experience for me. She's been a nail tech for over a decade and you can tell by the quality of her work. I specifically signed up to post this review. My wife had an AWFUL experience here. The water was incredibly hot, the chair massager didn't work, and her nails were bleeding profusely. She felt pain and burning that day and the next day. It's been 4 days since she got them done and the pictures of the damage are attached. You can still see how bad of a job they did. And they charged her 5 bucks extra for changing her nail color. I could have bought an entire nail color bottle with that amount. They speak in their language making the customer experience even more horrible. I highly caution you before you go here! read more

So I got a Manicure here back in December. Meme did a fantastic job on my nails and took extra care to make sure they came out looking amazing. I'm so impressed with her diligence and time she took on them. They even had two customer come in minutes before they were about to close and still offered service. Overall very impressed, and she still offered the discount they were having on Nexgen nails even though the promotion didn't start for a couple days. read more

My usual nail tech was out of town so I decided to try out a new place. I pass this place everyday and decided what the heck. My first sign that this was a bad idea should have been that it was 10 am on a Saturday morning and the place was empty. I walked in they quickly got me seated for my pedicure and immediately started pushing the deluxe package which I declined and another tech came over to do my manicure while my pedicure was being done which I dislike very much. The pedicure was one of the most rushed half done, poorly filed, sloppy polished pedicures I've ever had. I brought in my own polish which they couldn't paint with because it needed to be thinned out for a smoother finish. The manicure wasn't any better I still have cuticle that needs to be trimmed and the edges of each of my nails is unpolished. Of course this is probably due to the fact that I didn't upgrade to the Gel manicure that they kept trying to sell along with the eyebrow wax. I'm giving 2 stars because everyone there was really friendly but I can say all nail salons are not created equally and this one is very outdated in their technique and definitely needs a face-lift. read more

I was a regular customer at Happy Nails from 2001 until 2011. At first, I was pleased, and went there for fills every 2 weeks. They also do threading & waxing. I because unhappy after my fake nails stayed on too long, & they never recommended that I remove them to let my own nails "breathe." This caused a severe fungus to develop, where I had great pain on/under all of my nails! I had them removed, and then decided it was time to change to another salon. I had to leave the fake nails off for several months, so my nails could heal. The nail techs at the new location recommended that & worked closely with me to get my own nails healthy again. Their pedicures were "average." The new place I go to now gives great, relaxing pedicures. Another thing I disliked about Happy Nails is that many of the techs were always encouraging me to get "more" services that what I asked for. I know it was so they could make more money. They were deceptive, because they asked, "Do you want paraffin wax?" or "Do you want gel nails?" They would ask over & over, even tough I told them, "No." That was very irritating. It seemed that they were always trying to make another $5. They would ask about adding a service, but never quoted the price, unless I asked them. In my opinion, this is NOT good business! I debated about giving 2 stars or 3 stars, and decided to give 2. Thinks started out well in 2001, but by 2011, the service was not so good. read more

I have been getting my nails done at Happy Nails for 7 years...My job relocated to Carrollton in Feb 2004...My nail tech at the time, which I had been a customer to for 5 years, was in North Richland Hills Tx...so I was looking for a place close to my job...One day during lunch I stumbled across Happy Nail...Michelle the owner greeted me at the door and ask me if she could help me...I explained to her that I was in need of a solar fill but I was very picky about who touched my nails..she listened...gave me her card & said I will fill your nails...& if you are not satisfied you do not have to pay me...I turned around...looked her in the eye and said "okay"...that was 7 years ago...I have sent 100's of people to her because my nails are HER advertisement...needless to say Michelle was paid for the fill and tipped...I live in Grand Prairie Texas and I drive to Carrollton to get my nails and feet taken care of...Will I stop?
