This place does get busy after lunch when everyone that works around the area gets their boba fix so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. Same menu, same cute decor, same customer service like before, but there might be limited time specials (pictured below). Now I once reminded everyone that I'm not always into loose leaf milk tea on black pearls and ice; but if it's for the limited time special, I only have just one. The drinks here: yummy. The ambiance: sketchy and not the best location. On one visit a homeless man came inside and started throwing tissues and bottles everywhere and dumping liquid out in the trash can. I had already ordered so I was just watching him from afar while the singular worker made my drink. The worker seemed to avoid looking at him so I'm assuming this kind of thing happens really often. Their service is honestly not bad though -- on multiple occasions I've come in a large group and they're always great about taking huge bulk orders and making them in a timely fashion even with only 1-2 workers. I'm sure they're used to do that too since this area is super close to all the corporate buildings in Fidi so it's the go to boba spot for all the corporate folks on their boba break. Because of that, the lines here can get really long so it's probably best to come here not when it's corporate boba o clock (which in my experience is the couple hours post lunch). This is my second time going to this store. My first experience was quite poor but I decided to give the place a second chance. My first experience was a couple months ago on a hot San Francisco day. I decided I would go to Happy Lemon and get a drink to cool off, I should have figured that everyone and their moms would be thinking the same thing. The line was very long, over 10 people were in front of me, with just ONE barista on duty. She was doing everything, she was on register ringing up people as well as making drinks for customers that ordered online/in person. I do not fault the barista at all, she was doing the best she could, but I think management definitely needs to work on their scheduling. I could see the frustration in the baristas face, and I'm not even mentioning how hot it was inside of the store for the barista. This is a clear example of a corporation taking advantage of their employees, they just don't want to pay for an extra person!! Yesterday, I decided to give them another chance. I placed an order through the app at 1:25pm with an estimated pick up time of 1:35pm. At 1:27pm I received a text saying that my order was received. I got to the store at 1:35pm only to see a sign on the door saying they would be back at 1:50pm (see pic). My lunch break was only until 2pm, if I would have known that the order was going to take a long time - I would have not ordered. If the store is closed for whatever reason, the online orders must also be closed. There shouldn't even be a way for people to order. TLDR - I doubt I'll be giving them another chance. read more

Another Happy Lemon shop has just opened! Located in the first level of the new Salesforce transit center. They had a 2 day BOGO sale on all drinks on 9/29 and 9/30 from 12-8pm. The first 100 people on the first day got a free key chain and a tote bag on the 2nd day. 4 purchased drink maximum allowed per person. Because of the location, you can expect some traffic during lunch time and rush hour. Parking is also difficult. Unsure about the hours yet as they usually have BOGO on weekends and I didn't see it posted anywhere. Got here at 2pm on a Thursday and the line was very short. My ordered drinks were: 2 X Salted Cheese GT, strawberry GT and a mango matcha. All tasted like the other locations. Unfortunately pretty hit or miss with the quality here. I don't visit often because for the price, I rather go somewhere higher quality. But when I'm lazy, this spot is convenient for me. I usually order online/doordash for pickup and I haven't yet had an issue with slow service like others have noted. The main problem is that the boba is never properly cooked. It's always a mix of some undercooked/hard in the middle and some fine. They also don't always have every topping available, so I'll pay for a premium topping online just for them to tell me when I get there that they don't have it and I end up needing to sub it for a topping that would've cost less originally. A hidden gem, especially if you're new to the area and visiting the Salesforce Park!! I love happy lemon! Big fan of the boba drinks, tea drinks, and slushies. The snacks (baked goods) are pretty good, especially the waffle. The ladies are always super nice. The drinks come out really fast. The location is clean and airy. It's part of the new trans bay terminal (and right below the salesforce park). It's right across from Philz, and behind Natoma Cabana. It's also directly across the street from 555 Mission (where there's a small urban park too). Because it's literally below the Salesforce Park, we always grab our drinks and take it upstairs to the park and hang out. My go to is the oolong tea with boba (less sweet). The slushees are also super tasty and not too sweet. My favorite is the lemon slushie which comes with lychee jelly. Yum They deserve so much more love. I've never seen such blatant rudeness in any shop. No wonder the store had barely people coming in. The staff uses a very rude tone when being asked and when I gave tip after I ordered, her tone suddenly became friendly. And then a woman from outside was asking how to get to the park, she got annoyed. I couldn't believe it and just stared with the woman who got the rude answer. And then 2 men came in waiting to order. The staffs were in the kitchen and kept on talking, and one of them saw the customers and yet continued to talk her coworker. I am usually a fan of Happy Lemon but this location is terrible. This place is always understaffed and the drinks are hit or miss. I visited this location on March 1st around 12:20 pm, once again there was only one person working in the store. There was one customer ahead of me, the girl took the gentleman order, then stopped to make his drink. Now she could've just taken my order at the same time since we were the only ones in the store, but I understand that she was by herself so I just waited. She made the previous customers drink, then instead of taking my order, she just starts to wash the blenders. Never looks my way, never says hello, I'll be right with you, just completely ignores me and continues to clean. After that I just left, this was my last time visiting this location. I only frequented this place because it's conveniently located at the transit center, but the service here is god awful. read more

Rude asf. The two girls working at around 4pm on feb 28 need to leave some manners. My friends mobile ordered their drinks in order to not order at the register seeing that there was one person behind the counter. Another girl was in the back washing dishes, totally understandable. She ordered at 3:58 PM and waited 15 minutes before asking if the drinks were ready. The girl washing dishes looked us up and down and said 'you need something'? We disregarded the fact that she was being a little rude and asked if our mobile order was ready. Which by the way was just sitting on a counter while both girls were chatting in the back. She picked the ticket up and said 'no ur order will be ready at 4:30' keep in mind there were no other drinks in the queue, and no one was standing in their lobby. I don't understand why 1 she had to be rude about it and 2 why she couldn't just make it instead of standing around. Other girl however was nice but the one with a pink hair was rude.
