Walked in on a Friday, ordered immediately with young lady. Ordered a mango yakult smoothie with 25% sugar. It was expensive $8.50 and mango boba was more jelly than boba. Chewy. Place was cool, chill.

Eh one of my icky pet peeves is bathrooms at food/ drink establishments...not having soap to wash hands with in the bathroom really is a big yuck for me. I already bought my drink so gotta wait for it and will be popping in my straw to the drink real carefully since I didn't have soap to wash my hands with. I wonder how the workers handling the bubble eggs and drink making stuff are being careful with their hands and keeping it clean. This is how tummy aches can happen. I normally go to Tea Top for my boba but got lazy and parked near here...so decided to give it a try ba walk behind this store.

So tasty! I'd never tried a bubble waffle before coming here, and it was delicious! The first time I tried the original waffle with the puff cream, and the second time I had the original waffle with the taro puff cream. Both are very good! I had extra taro puff cream leftover and took it home to eat with fresh watermelon...it was a great combination. Note that it does take a while to get your order if you get a waffle. I'd say no more than 10 minutes though. Their drinks look amazing too. Seating area is sparse, but they had some decent-sized tables.

Don't drink these lemons unprotected or you might get lemonades.

If Selena Gomez came here, she would TAKI TAKI LEMON These lemons are so happy Pharell should do this RAPPY LEMON Barbi's getting naked and she's moaning "AYY PAPI" LEMON Posing on the couch and being a THIRST TRAPPY LEMON Now she just came over, gave my butt a SLAPPY LEMON I think that she wants me to give her a TAPPY LEMON I do that so much she's getting kinda FLAPPY LEMON But now I'm gonna make her happier than a HAPPY LEMON WHAT! This is Katy's best Boba shop, and one of the world's best Happy Lemons. Trust me. Would I lime to you? So if we really wanna go one step further than what we already wear to Boba places, then I should bring my date here with both of us wearing nothing but Cling-Film. I guess then it'd be renamed "Saran Wrappy Lemon." Happy Lemon is Barbi's all time fave Boba chain, and this is one of our favourite Happy Lemon locations in the world, and the reasons why are easy to define. They make their drinks perfectly, whether it's milk tea or the wonderful Blended lemon tea, and Barbi's all time fave, C2, Fresh Squeezed Lemon Black Tea. They make wonderful waffles and have beautiful decor, and perhaps best of all they have some truly amazing owners who are personable, genuine, and friendly, and make some of the best products you can find. A lot of their employees are absolutely gorgeous too, to the extent where I think they pick good looking people to work here on purpose. And when the girl some of you know and love insists on me taking her here and getting her fave Lemon Black Tea, then for me and any boys (and probably girls) in the place, it becomes Fappy Lemon. The owners are super super friendly and always made us feel at home from the first time we came here. We literally will never come to Katy without coming to this Happy Lemon for a drink, and usually for a waffle. They're located literally right across from H Mart in a great location, and hopefully will continue to be one of the most thriving Boba shops in Katy because they deserve to be. If it were in the largest city of Minnesota, it'd be Minneappy Lemon. And it'd sell sodas too. Not just small and large, but Mini Sodas. If it were in the capital of Maryland, it'd be Annappy Lemon. One of the friendliest and best quality Boba shops in the world. From their magnificent drinks to their wonderful ownership, from the lovely employees to the regional manager based in Cali who puts the midas touch (or the Lemon-Yellow touch) on all of the Lemons under his guidance, this is top notch all the way, and there's a reason that their are lines out the door on any given day of the week. Well, the reason is that the shop is so small and is take-out only, but there's another reason too! And that is, it's just so good! Be careful what you order. Some of these drinks are so sour, that when she drank them, Ronda Rousey changed her name to Ronda Sourey. We like sour drinks though, and we like Ronda too, and any girl with muscles like that, or like mine, or bigger. Or I guess for me that should read "any girl", period. Of all the chains in the world, Happy Lemon is one of the very best, and is probably my fave boba chain that originates from China. They have extremely authentic taste worldwide, reminding me of the way it's done in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and I've tried these all over the UK is well, and they were just as good there as the American versions. If you haven't tried Happy Lemon yet, get over here and try it immediately. It might change your life. Now I'm gonna finish this review and make it SNAPPY LEMON I can't write much cause I'm feeling CRAPPY LEMON If I wrote for Hallmark, I'd write all SAPPY LEMON But when we want Boba, we go to HAPPY LEMON If I was an infant, I'd wear a NAPPY LEMON Tried to bring my feelines here, but they were CATTY LEMON Hamilton likes it, says it's I'm young, hungry and SCRAPPY LEMON And the only Lemon that we want is HAPPY LEMON WHAT!

Loved the service that was provided when my daughter ordered the mango yogurt drink and was advised the drink runs sweeter. We normally cut our sugar level but for the worker to warn us ahead of time was nice. The place was nice and clean and a couple of good photo op spots. The drinks were delicious and I highly recommend it!

i go to happy lemon katy all the time and it seriously never gets old. i always get the strawberry shortcake smoothie, it's so good and you can actually taste the strawberry, plus it looks super cute. i'm always asking my dad to take me, and he already knows my order by heart lol. the area is really cute and has such a happy, lemony vibe. the staff are always so sweet and welcoming, it just makes the place feel extra nice to visit.

Jasmine Lemon Slushy- too citrusy & made the tea very subtle. 2/5

Happy Lemon is one of my favorite boba spots & I'm glad they've decided to have one in Houston not too long ago. This location has a 5 star rating unfortunately it's my least favorite of the 3 that they have in Houston. I've been here twice & both times it's just been average & nothing special. Here's what I ordered. * Jasmine lemon slushy- as expected it was citrusy which is understandable but subtle in terms of tea flavor. I also get that lemonade is suppose to be sour but they need to add some more sugar to balance out the sourness of the drink. This one was just pure intense acidity. Definitely was not refreshing as I thought it'll be. 2/5 * Jasmine green tea- I'm going to be very critical on this one because it's just the basic jasmine green tea, so you're suppose to taste a strong tea flavor; unfortunately it was very weak. 2/5 * Okinawa Fresh Milk- Textbook. Good amount of sweetness & tasted exactly like your ordinary brown sugar milk tea. 4/5 * Strawberry green tea- while it does taste refreshing, the tea flavor was nonexistent. I've had this at the Bellaire location several times & the green tea was strong. 2.5/5 I was informed by the manager that if I wanted more tea flavor to request it the next time which I will, but in my opinion you're suppose to have a good amount of it to begin with. Overall, service is good but the drinks were underwhelming. This location has more space so there's seating inside. The Bellaire location is more of a to go. I will give it a 4 instead of a 3 because the cashier & the manager were very nice & took time to hear my feedback. Will I come back? Yes, if I'm in the area.

Trying to choose a place for boba in this area is overwhelming. There are so many. This one attracted us because of its name. I got the mango tea with mango boba. Little did I know there were little pieces of fresh mango at the bottom! That made this tea so much more refreshing. I did not go inside so I wouldn't be able to tell you the atmosphere. I had to stay in the car with my son. I noticed there is one closer to me, I must try that location next!

D5. Boba Milk Tea w/ Puff Cream
    Brett N.

Why 5 stars? Because the mango lemon slushy could not have been more refreshing. --- --- --- We initially planned to grab boba elsewhere, but after eating lunch in the same plaza, we decided to just walk over to Happy Lemon, one of approximately 14 boba places in Katy Asia Town, and we were certainly happy about this decision. We love boba tea, but most places are mostly serving up the same thing. That is not the case at Happy Lemon. While I considered ordering something more typical, I couldn't help but give into the temptation of the Top 10 sign at the counter. Many of them were interesting, but what caught my eye was the mango lemon slushy. I don't always love lemon, but I was willing to live dangerously. Great decision. This was one of the most refreshing drinks I can remember consuming. It was the absolute *perfect* mixture of tart, but sweet. Perfect. My wife ordered the Boba Milk Tea with Puff Cream. Again, something that was definitely different from the norm for her. At first, neither of us were super impressed by it. But it grew on both of us. I'd describe it as the halfway point between milk and a milkshake. We don't live nearby, but after one visit, I'm a big fan. I still don't understand how so many boba shops can survive in one plaza, but I don't ask questions. I just enjoy all the boba.

I was introduced to salted cheese after trying Happy Lemon for the first time in California back in 2018... I haven't loved anything tastier since then. Being the first in the world to create the salted cheese topper, Happy Lemon proudly boasts "often imitated, never duplicated", which stands true. Anytime I get to come out to a Happy Lemon, I always order the same thing-- the Jasmine Green Tea with Salted Cheese. Trust me, you won't regret it. There's something magical about this drink. Starting with the base of the tea itself, Happy Lemon brews delicious, quality tea you can actually taste. Next, they'll mix in the perfect cream ratio to the tea to the craft the perfect milk tea. Finally, the salted cheese topper is added to the top with a dash of matcha.

This location is new and I love the fact that we have one now in Katy! Facebook announced that they are having their grand opening BOGO event on November 27th and 28th. We tried the Original Bubble Waffle with a side of salted cheese dip and an order of Green Tea milk tea + salted Cheese. I have never had anything like the dip before, it's lightly sweetened and has a texture like whipped cream. It's definitely addictive, I'll have to try it with other flavors of waffles next time. The drink was really good. The layer of salted cheese really goes well with the green tear milk teas, pleasantly surprised. You can smell the delicious waffles when you enter those doors. It's a good place to hang out with friends and they have tables throughout. There is also bar still seating at the window. The owners and the staff are very friendly and they gave me solid recommendations from their menu. I'll definitely be back to try their other delicious waffles and dips as well as their other drink selections. I really like drink menu. They have flavors that really set themselves apart from all the other tea places in the shopping center.

First tried Happy Lemon in SF and was so excited to hear it was coming to Houston! The service here was fantastic and they were very efficient. There was a small line when we got there that moved fast, and it took only 5 minutes to get our drinks! A1 - Green Tea with Salted Cheese 4/5 If you like cheese drinks, get this! It was the perfect balance of sweet and salty, and the green tea flavor really shines through. Forgot to add boba but that would've been the perfect compliment because the drink is a bit plain without it. D6 - Ube with Taro Balls and Taro Puff Cream 4.5/5 Perfect for all purple yam lovers! The chewy taro balls are my favorite part. Bubble Waffle with Salted Cheese Dip 5/5 Super crispy, warm, and not too sweet. The dip is addicting! Other recommendations: - Boba Milk Tea with Puff Cream - Okinawa Milk Tea Got 75% sweetness for all drinks. Definitely recommend giving this place a try. We will be back!

I had been watching this one being built for a while and was especially curious to try it since this location has a full bar, which adds a really fun twist to the traditional coffee shop concept. I stopped in for lunch and decided to sit out on the patio which ended up being the perfect choice. The atmosphere was relaxed, bright, and inviting with a nice open feel that makes it easy to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in and everything moved quickly and smoothly. I ordered the guava mimosa and it was SO good. Light, refreshing, and honestly the perfect daytime drink. For food I had the chicken avocado wrap and substituted the chips for truffle fries and both were SOOOOO good. The wrap was fresh, warm, and packed with flavor and the truffle fries were absolutely worth the upgrade. I love that this location keeps the cozy Buzz and Bites feel while also leaning into a slightly more elevated vibe with the bar and patio seating. Between the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the great food and drinks, I can already tell this will become a regular lunch spot now that it is so close to our office.

The casual, open space was inviting and the place was spotlessly clean. However, the customer service was just average. I wanted an egg and cheese biscuit with gravy and asked if I could replace the bacon in the Bacon, Egg, Cheese Biscuit with the shiitake mushroom gravy. However, the gal at the counter said no so I ended up ordering the spinach, egg, and goat cheese biscuit and had to order a side of shiitake mushroom gravy. She wouldn't even let me switch out the goat cheese for cheddar cheese. Needless to say, service was not the most accommodating or helpful. My lunch date ordered the chicken and waffle and gave it a 4/5 rating. The chicken was crispy but the waffle was more on the dense side. The biscuit was also dense, more so than fluffy. It was baked golden brown and had a slightly crispy exterior which was the best part. The inside didn't pull apart into delicate layers. Instead, it crumbled when I forked through it to get a piece. I'd give it a 4/5 rating. I thought the shitake mushroom gravy was very good and give 5/5. I'm just happy they make a vegetarian-friendly gravy. I also like that have fresh squeeze orange juice on the menu.

The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. As someone who has worked as a server before, I would never speak to customers that way. It felt unnecessary and rude. To make things worse, when our food arrived, I noticed what looked like a small metal piece (possibly a wire or bristle) on the plate next to the bacon. We were seated and given a tour of the menu and some suggested options to try. Once the order was placed and the appetizers arrived, the chef came out, introduced himself and spoke to us what we liked best and answered questions about each item. He also came out after the mains were served to make sure everything was being enjoyed. We ordered a few sampler platters for appetizers, as well as oxtail, antelope and ostrich for the mains as we wanted to get a taste of everything. There was nothing that didn't taste amazing! This was the first time we tried camel, kangaroo, antelope and ostrich. We were surprised at how flavorful each of them and the other items were. The adventure was topped off with a slice of the most amazing key lime pie, courtesy of the chef. We will definitely be returning!

Don't judge a restaurant by the outside! Judge it by their menu…read more Table for 2 and our baby for Mother's Day Brunch. $42 per person for a 3 course brunch, sign us up! $55 for premium experience, even better! But wait, there's more....... The exterior could definitely use some work. Host stand plopped outside. Inside felt a little crowded. Wine cellar-ish. Mother's Day, a bit chaotic for all restaurants. Took 10-15 minutes to be greeted after being sat. No big deal, I get it. Santiago was great. We did the mystery mimosa experience which was fun! We go to order our food and BOOM!! This is where they get you. It was all a lie. A very deceiving menu written in a way where you think you're going to get oxtails and jollof rice plus appetizer and dessert for $55 per person. Because that's a great price, not really a deal, just a great price. WRONG. Santiago had to clarify that it was $55 EXTRA ON TOP OF $42 PER PERSON. SO $97 PER PERSON FOR OXTAILS AND JOLLOF RICE, AN APP & DESSERT. RIDICULOUS! TOTALLY DISHONEST AND DECEIVING. Write it as $55 additional per person, so everyone knows what they're getting into before they reserve their table. Because Santiago admitted everyone he served that day was shocked at the additional cost. Not wanting to ruin my wife's FIRST Mother's Day, I brushed it off and still continued with the order. Appetizer: tequeño & empanada. Bland, came out cold and after our entrees came out. Entrees: Oxtail & Jollof rice. I loved it. Flavor was great. Just wish there was a lot more. For $97, you expect to have 6-8 large oxtails and a side of rice. What i got was 4 very tiny oxtails and a full plate of rice!! Peri peri chicken & jollof rice- flavor was nice and smoky. But again, for $97, you expect more than 2 avg size leg quarters and a full plate of rice. Dessert: They were out of key lime pie by noon. I saw the cheesecake, it was a thin plain slice, so we opted for their seis leches cake. It was not good. It was not soaked enough, very dry. The reason the score wasn't lower was because service was great, the entrees tasted great and they gave each mother a single rose and Mother's Day card which had a pin in it that said best mom ever. Which made my wife's day even that much better. Thank you Chef Casey. But I don't think I would visit again solely based on the deceiving menu and small portions that are not worth the additional cost.

My wife loved the farmers breakfast. I ordered extra grits because they were so good! My only complaint was that the glasses for water were a little dirty and the water bottle came out with some stuff floating in it. But not a big deal. If you want a good brunch, then head over here. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles by both the managers and the wait staff. The team was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I loved is that there's seating both indoors and outdoors, so you can enjoy the beautiful weather while dining, especially this time of year when the holiday decorations are up. The restaurant is perfectly situated right in front of the central green space so my niece could play within view while we relaxed and enjoyed our meals, a total win-win! Now, about the food... Everything we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS and packed with flavor. It's hard to pick just one dish to recommend, but if I had to, I'd say the cauliflower bites were my fav and are a definite must try. Perfectly seasoned with a little spicy kick. The beignets were another standout...light, crispy, and not overly sweet; plus it came with a little dipping sauce. I had the kale and mushroom pasta dish which was heaven for this pasta-loving girl. It was fresh and full of bold flavors. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite (and the added shrimp were HUGE). Don't forget to grab a matcha latte. I had the lavender flavor and it was the perfect balance of sweetness. Highly recommend as well.
