They come out and check that everything is perfect a week before installation so there's no surprises. And thank goodness they did, they found multiple things that the builder didn't do and we found out we were not ready for the appliance installation. Then after things were corrected by the builder, they sent a tech out again just to be sure the appliances would all go in smoothly, before delivery. I really like this proactive approach. As a designer for many years, I appreciate this extra attention. K&N Sales has this perfected and they make sure it will be done right. They were also VERY quick to replace a dishwasher that was not working correctly from the factory. The kitchen looks and performs great, and Justin put together a great price package, (better than 3 others). Very personable all around. Highly recommend.

(Austin Location) - Good enough sales/showroom help. Terrible customer service and communication…read more Totally missed the equipment arrival date(s), items not available for weeks and when your building a house, these are all to important. Equipment install was absolutely terrible, installers were not prepared nor did they even consult the instructions, didn't clean up their mess (wood and metal shavings specifically). Water line was incorrectly installed, ice maker installed improperly. Be prepared to either take delivery with your truck/trailer and install yourself and take a meticulous inventory of your items because of the tail light warranty, nobody will return your call after the sale.

I had browsed for months while looking at appliances / furniture and enjoyed the the hunt, despite going to multiple locations looking for quality versions of everything. This location is in Gulfgate, which isn't the nicest area of town but is also among the most quiet at least during the daytime. Like most American Freights, the store wasn't busy and there was plenty to see. Each week there were different appliances on display, but the couches and dining sets looked to be the same each time I visited. The customer service was good at this store. They didn't hassle me ever and kept it real the whole time. I found the selection was decent despite things changing up every week. The key was to find something that looked near new without paying anything close to retail. After several weeks, I found a stove that looked fairly good and fit the dimensions of my kitchen. Retail price was $2800, but I scored it for just about $1,700 with a $120 delivery + hookup fee (#1). The unit works exactly as advertised and the blemish was tough to spot (#2) but I was satisfied with my purchase. I am already on the hunt for my next appliance and hoping to land a good one soon. _____________ (#1) This will be a different review entirely. (#2) Some small scratches on the inside.

Stopped here to grab some gardening supplies after getting some plants from Houston Garden Center…read more I was able to easily find what I needed and bonus, it was in stock. One main complaint is that the cashier in the gardening center was on a FaceTime call while she was checking me out. Like, she would be talking to her friend and I would think she was say something to me. I honestly don't think Home Depot would appreciate that she is taking personal calls WHILE on the clock... WHILE checking customer out. Needless to say, I was in and out quick with what I needed.

I had a pack of screws that I realized were the wrong size. I had bought several other items, so I handed the screws to the employee. When I looked up, he had already opened the pack and started counting them. It was a two dollar pack of screws, and as someone who has been a Home Depot cardholder for more than seven years, I've never seen anything like that. I asked him was he counting the screws for return and he said yes. I told him this had never happened before and asked why he was doing it. He said it was because he could. Long story short, I ended up returning the screws and refusing to finish my purchase at his register, especially after he insisted that I slide an item over to him even though he could reach it himself. I went to another counter to complete my purchase. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had at Home Depot. All this over a two dollar pack of screws. Unbelievable.

Something that should normally take no more than say 10 business days took as I said two months. Really! The whole time I had to do the follow-up and chasing down the sale rep as to the status. So, what happened!? Well my original order was for two, but only was was placed or ordered. An error on their part, and can't explain what happened. Then the other toilet was ordered and the toilet arrived but the tank came with broken lid, so that had to be ordered. Then they ordered that and that was hung up in Dallas and they said a big mess. You get the point! Just a major sh...t sh...w! Don't think I'll be going back because the customer service sucks with a capital S, cause I ended up doing the service reps job! Personally I should give them 1 star, but the price offsets the hassle, but not really. Highly recommend when you place the order you have it sent to them for receiving and not direct to your home, because then you'll have to deal with the manufacturer rather than let Pacific Kitchen manufacture defects or broken items.

Pacific Kitchen & Home is affiliated with Best Buy, but they will claim they are not a Best Buy…read morecompany (at least this is how the sales guy expressed to me). I really like Eric Brooks, he was a great salesman. Problem is that his management is terrible. They promised they meet/beat competitors pricing, but when I brought valid competitors pricing based off of either the website price or website price and a coupon I had from moving (Lowe's/New Egg/Best Buy/and several others), his management said they would not honor it. They worst part is they said it in a very condescending manner. The lady reminded me of either the Wicket Witch of the West or the David Spade "no" goat commercial. The male manager was a guy who probably learned management skills at a JuCo and thinks he is ready for C-Level Position @ a Fortune 500. If you don't want to match prices, don't offer that service, or put only the companies and manners of how you match it on a banner so consumers are not wasting their time. Also, you could say it in a more hospitable manner. Their loss, of about $7,000 in sales & a 5 years warranty plan. Went to Lowe's today and they took excellent care for me at the price I was trying to get Pacific Kitchen & Home to just try to match for the best Washer Dryer Samsung sells. I was still unsure of which Samsung French door fridge I wanted, but Lowe's even had an open box Fridge that was in perfect condition that was just opened today so I snatched that one up. About a a $4k fridge for about $1,800. Thanks Pacific Kitchen for messing up our sale so Lowe's could take good care of me. Lowe's 5 year plan was even cheaper than the Pacific Kitchen's plans significantly for all 3 appliances. I would give 0 stars for the experience if that was an option.
