Very clean and simple store. Not to much of selection but it a good place to pick something fast. There service is very simple which I like. They let you pick what you want and look around with out having to be rush and get out of the store. read more

I would recommend this place to anyone I know. Super friendly owners, even gave us free water on this hot day!

This is such a cool place. The owners were very helpful when we were choosing fish to go with the ones we already have. They had such good variety and selection of fish. We will definitely be coming back here for our fishys read more

The quality and price of their fish is very good. I go around to a lot of LFS in the area, and I usually cannot find a better deal than what they have. The fish I have bought from them so far have been healthy, and have even outgrown some of the same species I've bought from other stores. The couple at the store is always nice and friendly every time I go, and I have yet to walk out of their place without a free bottle of water. read more

Family run store. Honest, helpful, and caring. They really want you to enjoy the experience of having an aquarium. They were very patient and understanding with our family as we chose our fish and plants for our first aquarium. Great selection, competitive prices, and kind owners. read more

Been going to the store for about a month creating an African Cichlid environment. The initial 10 gallon setup was good. They replaced a fish that died the same day. At no char ge. They are friendly and helpful. Although, their pricing is high. They do not offer any discounts. I bought one small fish and one bottle of water treatment for $18.73. Otherwise, they have a good selection of product. Look for sales situations. They have a nice selection of equipment, chemicals and furniture available to customize your experience. I have been happy with them thus far. Unfortunately, I need to find more competitive prices. Customer service is good. English can be an issue. read more

Lonnie and Mel are such nice people. Always kind and helpful. There fish is very high quality and their prices are the absolute best around for both fish and dry goods. A really cool 300 gallon tank and a wall of saltwater fish and inverts. They have great live rock and everything you need for the hobby. I go out of my way to come here. read more

Best place to buy fish ever!! Lonnie and Mel, the owners are so nice and helpful. When I walked into the store I was greeted with a bottle of water. That never happens anywhere. Their fish and product prices are the best and can't be beat. I have compared prices from several stores and happy pet fish always has the lowest. They have a large 800 gallon saltwater tank in the middle of the store filled with so many different fish. They have a large selection of saltwater fish and freshwater fish but I'm only into the saltwater fish. If they don't have the fish your looking for, just let lonnie know and he will order it for you. If your looking for a great price with a large selection, this is the place to go. read more

Good place, fishes are healthy and great price. The owner is very nice and honest.

Lonnie the owner is very nice and more importantly he is knowledgeable and if he doesn't know he will tell you he doesn't know. Price's are competitive with any other fish store but quality is above all others, I only buy my fish from Lonnie. If there is something i want i just tell him with in a week he will have it in the store. I read a review looking for discounts because they bought 1 fish and 1 bottle of supply's, C,mon. You want discounts come back every week after week talk to Lonnie then you get your discounts. My only complaint is their lack of coral he has an amazing 800gal tank with just amazing fish, but no coral. Maybe a frag tank in the future, he recently put a lil reef in front of the 800Gal but it leave much to be desired. Overall great place for all your supplies and fish. If you are ever hot and in the area stop buy he almost always gives me an ice cold bottle of water. Gerry0625 read more

GREAT little store that, although small, is well stocked and has a very good selection and good prices. Asian couple are super nice and extremely helpful. We were told they could get us most any fish if we just let them know. All fish tanks super clean and well maintained and all fish look very healthy!!!! Very happy to have found this little jewel of a store. read more

I really like this pet store. I have been here 3 times in the last 6 months. I have purchase aquatic plants, various small fish, frogs, and a pump with bubbles dispenser. I almost waisted a ton of money at petco trying to figure out which pump and tube and bubble maker would be best. I finally walked out of petco with nothing because the employees were all busy and then when I did get an employee, he started reading the labels and was about as knowledgeable as I was. At Happy Fish Pet they are so helpful and nice and love to work within your budget. I walked out with what I needed plus extra fish for $20. read more

I've gotten 2 Clownfish, 2 Regal Tangs and a Puffer from Happy Fish Pets. The fishes have been great and healthy. Small location but Awesome selection, great price, healthy fish and friendly owner. You can't go wrong. read more

cool place to get some fish, they have a little of everything. they have more saltwater variety though i'd say. not too much african cichlid or discus if that's what you're into (i am) but anyway, the husband and wife are very cool and will help you out. i bought 2 pieces of driftwood that were priced at about 14 each, told him i only had 20 dollars and he was like "thats okay!" i also bought a light fixture from them, brought it home, set it up worked like a charm, i was being dumb and i was turning it on and off like a dummy and the switch came off, took it back to him and he fixed it! awesome! if you're in the area check out happy fish pets for yourself! read more

This place is great, the Ma and Paps owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. For all Reef enthusiasts they specialize more on fish, rather than coral. With a good variety of salt/freshwater fishes that always seem so active and healthy and eat very well. I drove to 5 shops looking for a red fuzzy dwarf lion-fish, and lastly found it at their store! and bought a powder blue tang as well. The man definitely knows his stuff and acclimates the fish very well at his store, most of them are fed on New life pellets and are very alert. When i went to the register his wife even gave me a free cold bottle of water to drink since it was hot. If your looking for the perfect fish, save your time driving all over So-Cal, chances are they'll have the healthy fish that your looking for. read more

Lonni and Mel are Awesome! I have taken broken protein skimmers and other parts in and Lonni has fixed them at no charge. They always greet you and treat everyone like friends. I am really impressed with this place. It is really well run with the sweetest couple that really bend over backwards to help you. I came with my kids on a hot day and they gave us all bottled water to drink. The place is super clean with healthy stock. I especially love their live plant selection which can be difficult to find. The plants are gorgeous and well-priced. I bought some Amazon Swords that were over 12" with beautiful bright green color ($6). My new go-to aquarium store! read more

Great little local fish shop with healthy fish at excellent prices! My go to place. Owners are very helpful and friendly.

Lonnie and Mel are fantastic. I've been stopping in every time I need something "fishy" for several years now, and they never disappoint. They have always been about helping out the customer regardless of the level of knowledge in the hobby. Pricing on everything is very affordable, and more than competitive. There are times when I stop in alone and our conversation includes them asking about my wife....who isn't even with me! Come to think of it, I need some QUICK START...I need to stop by there today. read more

Lonnie and Mel are fabulous. A lot of time helping to educate us. They run a first-class shop and the customer service is appreciated! It's a pleasure to do business with a family-owned shop rather than a big box store with unknowledgeable employees. read more

This has got to be the best store in so-cal. If he does not have it he will order it if he does have it the prices are so good you leave feeling good about your purchase. Lonni and his wife Mel will welcome every person that walks in with a smile and a greeting. They are never to busy to answer any question you might have. I have had such a great experience here I continually drive in from riverside county. As many of you know it is not always about pricing it is about fish health and one look at his stock and you will know you are at the right store. read more

I love this fish store, I drive here from a couple cities away. They have a broad selection of fish sw or fw, prices are the best I've seen, and they're friendly. If they don't have the fish you're looking for they will order it. They'll get it by the end of the week, no extra charge. Make sure to check out their 800 gallon tank, with huge tangs.
