Custom 36" x 24" x 12" external overflow frag tank with frag racks.

I ordered a tank on Monday afternoon. It was finished on Wednesday night and I picked it up Thursday morning. They did an amazing job great communication and I'm super excited to set it up. I recommend if you're looking for something custom with great quality to hit these guys up. Thanks again Advanced Acrylics.

Lightweight and good quality. Because of it being made out of acrylic, it's really easy to handle and move compared to glass. They also make fish tanks custom made if needed. John is brilliant with accommodating with budget and working out the prices and needs for a fish tank. Pleasurable to talk with as well, 100% would recommend to anyone who needs a fish tank!

The custom made 120 gallon acrylic tank that John made for me came out beautifully. The tank was skillfully made and the materials used all appeared to be high end quality. He updated me on the progress of the tank while I was waiting and it was completed within the 2 to 3 weeks time frame that he stated initially. The ability to have it custom made based on my preferences and the quality of the tank itself was worth the price of the tank. I plan on recommending John at advanced acrylics to my family and friends who are also interested in getting an acrylic tank.

Upon opening it, I found it meticulously packed. Styrofoam surrounding it, all corners protected by hard cardboard, and everything shrinkwrapped to prevent scratches. I don't think UPS could have damaged it if they tried! The container was flawless. I couldn't fine ANYTHING wrong with it. Their craftsmanship is amazing. All gaps on the doors were even, everything cut and glued with fine attention to detail. Their product is hands down in another league when compared to other off the shelf high end brands I've used, but what really stood out to me was the great service they provide. I was updated with progress pics, payme t was easy, and John was extremely accommodating with all of my request. While it's very rare to find a good product that's backed by great staff, rest assured, Advanced Acrylics is definitely one of them.

Reached out to John on OfferUp for a custom size acrylic tank for an upgrade for my ambystoma, that needed to fit on a stand with non-standard dimensions. He was really quick to reply and work out pricing, and the turnaround time was really fast! I'm sure my project is small potatoes compared to some of the massive pieces they make, but I'm glad their company does small projects too. Picking up at their shop in Orange was really easy and they helped load it into my car. Would definitely come back for future tank needs, custom or not. Thanks!

BUYER BEWARE. Very shady seller / company. After going to reviews, I can confirm that the testimonials from those who have had a negative experience are indeed true. I purchased a small ATO from Advanced Acrylics (~$200) online a few months ago and have not received it since. No tracking number was ever provided to me when the item was shipped until I contacted customer support (John). We later found out that UPS "lost" the package. An investigation has been opened: however, John has been unresponsive and in-cooperative in handling the case and giving me back my refund for this mishap. I had been patient for months and given him alot of time to resolve this but nothing has changed; hence, why I am leaving this review to warn others. Overall, I would not recommend doing business or purchasing anything (especially high ticket items) from this company because if something goes wrong they / John will ghost you and leave you in the dust with no support. Also their phone number does not work / does not get answered so the only way to contact them is through email which rarely gets replied too. read more

John did it again. Told him I had a deadline for a tank with short notice. He got right to cutting it that night for me. 64x30x20 with custom overflow and return inlets. Also a custom 40x23x20 sump. totally crushed it. He sent it out in a week. I live on the east coast so freight shipping takes a week or so That's why I needed it done sooner than later. Couldn't ask for better customer service from him. Hope to do more business with him soon. I send him all my customers for tanks. Built a great relationship with his company. I have never complained about how my dog is groomed till now. I took him in and made my request like always. A schnauzer.cut short. Leave the ears long and trim the belly clipped short. When I picked him up I was running late for an appointment. After the appointment when I got home and took a good look at my dog I was surprised to see the cut he had been given. It was not the usual clean schnauzer cut. He looked terrible. It appeared as though they started to groom him and stopped in the middle of the cut. His underside left long his chest uneven. This was definitely not an $85.00 haircut. The next morning my dog had to be taken to emergency for a medical emergency. They ran test and advised me not to expose him to any other animals till his test results came back. As soon as the vet called and said my dog showed no signs of being infectious I went to Angels to explain they had not done what I told them I wanted. I explained because my dog had been taken to the vet for a medical emergency and I was advised not to expose him to other dogs till his lab work came back. The owner started to insist it had been three weeks since we were in. I stated it had been 1 week and 2 days. I showed her my bank app clearly showing the charge 1 week and 2 days prior. With an attitude she picked up my dog and headed to the back. I told her associate to ask her to tell her, she can get mad at me all she wants, but not to take it out on my dog. I was assured she would not. My grand daughter picked up my dog and when she got him home and I saw what the groomer had done I was so upset. I could believe she had taken her attitude out on my dogs hair cut. His underside was not clipped short and even. There was a gouge by the clippers center on his chest hair around was uneven. One side long than the other. His ears are to be left long but now were short.? This woman has been grooming my dog for the past 4 years and has always done a pristine job. I've never had a reason to complain. I've been very happy with her work until now, and because I went in to ask her to correct the problem. She got very upset and did a worse job. Not very professional!

He had amazing communication the entire time and it only took 2 1/2 weeks from the time I called him till the time it was in my living room. He let me custom design EVERYTHING about this. The quality is absolutely AMAZING. He hand polished the whole thing, got rounded corners, just ridiculously beautiful tank. I'm so in LOVE with it. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I search a lot before I made the decision to use them for my custom Frag tank, sump, and ato. They were not the cheapest but from the reviews and the pictures that I looked at they looked like they would be the Best bang for my buck. So I talked to Jon and we went over my specifications and exactly what I was looking for and I wanted to do the custom red and black theme... They nailed it and knocked it out of the park!!!! They made everything custom to order which took a couple of weeks and it came in the mail and everything was beautiful and then I noticed that there was a small crack on the bottom of my 40 inch long sump. It was packaged very well but yet still had a small crack. I called John and showed him the picture and he apologized and immediately built me another one and had it shipped out to me in seven days without any questions asked. So with that being said I am a loyal customer because the build quality was top notch and their customer service was as well. if you're reading this and wondering don't hesitate just go ahead and get it and you will be glad that you did. read more

John and his team deliver high end products. The quality of my ATO reservoir I received from them is 2nd to none. Great, timely communication from John. I would buy from them again. Plans to order a custom sump from them in the future. Update 7/20: Shortly after receiving my ATO reservoir I went on vacation for nearly 2 weeks. When I returned I came back to a very wet floor. I tried to get ahold of John to let him know my issue. I called all the numbers listed for the shop multiple times and no one ever answers the phone. I then sent multiple emails to their customer service email and even sent emails through shop pay. I did not receive a response until I submitted a purchase request for the same reservoir. My brief conversation with John seemed productive as he stated he was going to send me a patch kit to try and fix the leak. A month has gone by and I have not received anything. I still am unable to reach anyone customer service or otherwise. Unfortunately, the quality of their product matches their customer service. read more

Omg this company is not to be messed with!! Do Not Do business with this company! I spent over $9,500.00 with this guy John and he promised to take good care of me. I have been trying to give him a chance to take care of this problem and he keeps telling me yes I will send someone over to fix it but he never shows up. He's a liar and does not honor his word but do not do business with this guy or company people. Our aquatic life is our passion and for this to happen is ridiculous! Scamming people. I recently made the transition from freshwater to seawater tanks and got a lot of recommendations to go visit advanced acrylics for my hardware. To my noob eyes, they looked like any other reef tank supply site, but after extensive research, I ended up purchasing my sump (rimless cube), ATO (auto top-off) and my dosing tank from them and couldn't be happier with the quality. But more impressive than the quality, was their customer service. I had a some questions about the the sump and the shipping time and was helped by Sherylinn at customer care. Literally answered all my questions within an hour. Plan on going back to them for all my hardware... I definitely made the right choice with Advance Acrylics, they make top notch products at a very reasonable price. John made me a masterpiece of a custom sump and SHOWROOM tank. When the products arrived, I was blown away at the detail and craftsmanship that was put into the products. These guys really care about what they do and it shows in their work. My products were made to my exact specifications and communication with John was great. On multiple occasions I changed the sump and tank design which I know is pretty annoying but John worked with me, he never got annoyed and even helped me improved upon the design of the sump/tank. This is my second attempt at the reef keeping hobby so I am trying to get everything set up the way I want from the get go. I have had a great experience with John as he not only dealt with my constantly changing needs, but help me receive a product that was exactly what I needed. I bought both the S125 - Diamond Series Sump with adjusted compartments and the ATO111 ATO Reservoir. This time I'm going with a 96x36x24 display tank and 72x24x16 custom sump. He is always very responsive and willing to answer any questions. I highly recommend these guys! They built me a 60 gallon cube reef tank with white back and bottom. I've been trying to get white from every builder in my area with no luck.
