Sean, the owner of this store is the absolute best! We came here 2 days ago, and have decided he is now our official LFS! Sean not only greeted us with professionalism, but also helped answer ALL of the questions we had, giving us extra tips & tricks to upgrade our new tank. Although we did not purchase our new tank from him (but wish we did), we did end up purchasing additional equipment from him, all of which were fairly AND reasonably priced. Sean's store has a great variety of coral & fish selection; if you want something but cannot find it in the store; he will help special order it for you. Even though we just met him 2 days ago, we already special ordered some stuff from him, and cannot wait until he has them in stock! Sean is personable, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and an honest businessman. When we asked about something we needed, rather than pitch us a sale, he directed us to Amazon, letting us know his price was the same. Wow! We have been to many fish stores, and no one has ever directed us to Amazon! We will definitely be coming back and just wanted to give Sean a shout out. Small local business. Sean the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. His systems are always very clean or sometimes he is working on them. However, it's just him working there; so it is a lot to maintain. Lots of acropora, acans, lps in general and wonderful fish. If you want something he doesn't have he is always willing to order you the fish of your choice. Been coming here for a couple years; I drive 30 mins from my house just to see what he has. This place has become my go to for the past year now and I don't plan to stop going any time soon. Shawn (the owner) takes truly inspiring care of the stuff he has in stock and is constantly getting in beautiful coral/fish/inverts that I've never seen before. Friendly and knowledgable owner! Sean provided a lot of insight on how to care for my tank and tested our water to make sure all the levels were in the normal range. He quarantines any new fish he brings in and keeps everything very clean so the fish is healthy. He answered the 10000 million questions I had as well so thoroughly. The owner of the store is fantastic! I stopped in to see if he had any aquariums on display for purchase and he did not. But we struck up a conversation and started talking about dimensions and he indicated that he could get me a custom low iron starfire tank. So I ordered the tank, then we started to talk about plumbing and now I have custom hard color coded plumbing being installed with the tank. He worked with me every step of the way from selecting equipment to how I wanted the plumbing to function. I never felt upsold at any point, and in fact I was the one who kept coming up with new ideas that I wanted for the tank, and he was able to make it happen. I highly recommend visiting his store and striking up a conversation if you don't see what you want. He can sell you brand name aquariums at better prices than you can find online, or you can go custom and get exactly what you want at a lower price. Not only has it been a pleasure working with him, he has taught me many things I did not know. If you are not having a question about what fish, corals, tanks, or equipment that you want, then you are not utilizing in my opinion what makes this store great. Wow! To start off this review I am incredibly grateful to find a great fish store. It's about 30 min away and happily love shopping here then any other local fish stores near me. He is really helpful and well Knowledge about the reef hobby. I'm so happy he offered to quarantine my fish that had ick. I really appreciate him for doing that. It's my first time ever seeing a store so clean and very organized then any other local fish stores. He makes you feel very welcome to the shop when you step in. This place is AMAZING!!! I found out about the shop through instagram and let me tell you this store is my go-to for anything saltwater related. The store is the cleanest store I have ever been to and all of the tanks are kept up very well. They have everything from tank additives, fish tanks, reefing equipment, and some of the best selection of fish and coral out there. They have very good pricing and everything is very high quality. Amazing small business! I stopped by today for some freshwater plants. Fish all looked super healthy and happy. They had a great selection of saltwater fish and freshwater fish. They didn't have a sign and I almost left if I hadn't called. Thank god I called because it was one of the best mom and pop shops I've seen for a salt water fish store. I stopped by to grab some fresh water plants and some driftwood. (Which they had) Warm greetings, friendly faces and a great experience all around.
