Forewarned, the location is a bit hard to spot as it looks like a residential home, but rest assured it's Koi Outlet. We needed to refill Hikari in a large bag. We couldn't wait for an on line order. Glad we decided to make the drive to Koi Outlet. Greeted by a very friendly Gent. He showed the options in food. His store is well stocked with pumps, fitting, nets, fish food. But it is small so bet you just ask for what you need. The ponds are stocked with brilliant fish of superb quality and of various sizes. We get our zen just watching them swim around. We have found our new supplier. Support local small business.

Of all the Koi fish places, I enjoyed this place the most. David, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable about anything to do with Koi fish, ponds, and raised koi beds. He was extremely friendly and honest. You could tell he took great care of his Koi. All the ponds were very clean and there was so many Koi to choose from. The price range was from $3.33 and up. He also sells the baby 1 inch koi fish and pond filter/pump supplies. He even sells pond liner and wire tops to cover your pond to protect from predators. I am definitely coming back once my Koi pond is ready! He does have a small parking lot directly in front of his place. Place closes early at 4pm, so make sure to go early before 4pm.

My family bought three koi 2x$20 and a $35. Immediately upon arriving at this establishment the gentleman said hello and was very attentive and helpful. Upon selecting the fish the gentleman helped us select and bag the koi very professionally. We greatly appreciate this business and highly recommend it. Thank you koi outlet.

The owner is really nice and has some good quality koi. I really like how easy it was to see the fish and shop. Great prices too. I think he breeds them, they had a lot of really young ones. What I really appreciate is how helpful he was in getting me the right products for my sick koi and explained how to administer the meds in a bath dip. He took a lot of time to help me diagnose and get the right stuff. Actually persuaded me to buy a less expensive product that was more appropriate.

His koi are healthy and gorgeous. A testament to his knowledge.

My husband and boys decided we needed a Koi pond in the back yard. After getting it all set up we found ourselves at the Koi Outlet. After getting a wealth of knowledge we went home to finish the project and prep the pond for the Koi. We went back 2 weeks later to buy the Koi. One of my boys chose a fish that the owner didn't feel would be "pretty" as it matured so he suggested our little guy pick another. He was so honest with us we will continue going back. Our koi have been in the pond for a few days now and look great!

The owner seemed very nice and offered us free Koi food samples. Stocks were limited though. Hopefully they'll have more next time.

I called ahead of time to ask what fish would be best for the tank setup we have already and the staff members were so knowledgeable and patient with our kiddo while he chose the fish he wanted. The store lowkey looks like a mad scientist's lab, but in the best way! The tanks were clean and there were obvious quarantine procedures taking place. They have a beautiful and expansive assortment of freshwater and saltwater fish and other marine animals, tank equipment, and aquarium/tank decor. The staff member checking us out gave us a little discount when he heard the purchases were for our kid's birthday. My son loves his new fish and I'm so glad we decided to go to CK instead of a large pet store corporation! Huge shout out again to the staff! I highly recommend getting your aquatic needs fulfilled at CK Fish World!

Unfortunately, he's noticed inconsistent customer service. At times, the staff--especially who he believes may be the owner--can come off as rude or dismissive. There have been instances where he felt ignored while waiting for help, which can be frustrating as a returning customer. That said, not everyone there is like that. He mentioned that the woman working there is always kind and respectful, and there's another male employee who is helpful and provides great service when he's around. Because of the inconsistency, it's hard to fully recommend the shop, but when you do get help from the right staff, the experience is much better. Hoping they can improve overall customer service to match the good experiences we've had with certain employees.

I have purchased beetle larva from them at the Reptile Super Show in Pomona. It is definitely a much more unique reptile/exotics shop than the other ones that are in somewhat close vicinity in SoCal. As far as I know, this is the only physical location that specializes in a diverse range of hormone free pacman and chaco horned frogs. There's a wide variety of morphs, colors, and sizes. They are also the ONLY physical shop I know that has such a wide variety of invertebrates. I know some shops have tarantulas and maybe some death feigning beetles, but that's it. Jamjam has those and so much more! There's various beetles as well as their larval counterparts in various stages of development, along with any supplies that you may need to allow them to thrive imported Japanese beetle jellies, their own mix of flake soil, leaf litter, bark, etc. They also have different praying mantises as well (first time I have seen them sold outside of a reptile show), scorpions, and some really neat air breathing land snails that I have never seen before. I love the swirl patterns they have and I'm for sure going to come back for them. They also have have a wide range of affordable isopods too. Much cheaper than what it would be if I were to order an entire starter kit and the actual isopods online. I love the acrylic set up with the substrate, leaf litter, bark, and charcoal pieces in them with my new little orange guys. Additionally, they have feeders available: mice, mealworms, waxworms, tilapia filet, crickets, hornworms, and a lot of different feeder roaches available (discoid, lobster, red runner etc). Aside from the East Bay Vivarium up in NorCal, I haven't seen this level of variety of feeders, which, as an exotics owner, is very exciting! As they're still setting up, the reptiles they seemed to have when I visited were hognose snakes and some, what I think were ball pythons, but I believe that they'll be having some geckos and other reptiles as things move along. And if you also have a furry friend at home, they have bandanas, collars, leashes, and dog accessories as well. Another thing I loved was how informative, friendly, and helpful the owner is. He answered all my questions, gave tips and tricks, and gave really good husbandry advice. As this is somewhat of a niche hobby, I love to see that. They're in the process of getting everything situated, so I'm really excited to see what will be in store (and hopefully what will be in my room) in the future!
