This is an amazing aquarium store with beautiful fish, and basically everything you need for an amazing aquarium. I'm sorry I didn't find this place sooner. And they also have free parking at the rear of the business. Anyways, Chris told me how and when to bring my fish in. They were very detailed with specific packaging preparing the fish for an overnight flight to Florida. The fish arrived within 18 hours all alive and happy to be in their new home in Florida. They have a big area in back with…read moreclaw machines to entertain the kiddos and some toys have envelopes attached w/ gift cards and other gifts such as tanks, pnw frag rags, long fin clowns, etc. You can entertain your kid here for hours and maybe they'll win you something lol. If you follow them on IG or FB the owner does "live coral sales" which is fun. I got a bubble coral, acan, and some Lepto frags here. I recently started my reef, and I usually only get coral from other hobbyist via fb groups or marketplace BUT this store is actually a really good price and all the pieces I got here have flourished in my tank. I feel like a kid again when I come here. Also it's spacious and very clean!! All the staff is really nice. Btw parking is TRICKY . They have a personal lot in the back but drive in slowly bc it's only one tiny lane to go in AND out.

We made the mistake of not quarantining the new fish before we put them in our tank. A few days later all of our existing fish started disappearing and those who didn't die are now covered in either ick or velvet and will die soon. DO NOT SHOP HERE. The new fish has also now died (~1week later). I have a well-established tank (10+years) with three other adult fish who haven't had any issues, and we closely monitor our water conditions especially after that first fish. I can only conclude that this place is selling sick/poor quality fish. Not worth the risk when the store refuses to take accountability for the quality of their product.

She showed me a variety of products and explained each one, along with her personal favorite. There was no pressure, the fish looked well kept with a decent variety. Everything was reasonably priced they have a a SALE section for what looks like used equipment large tanks etc. which is nice to see. They have lots of rocks and other decorative things along with a handful of different live plants. I also saw the betta that people keep talking about. They are in similar containers to those in Petco or Pet smart. They looked in a lot better condition to those in big commercial stores. It's difficult to keep male bettas in larger tanks it's uneconomical for a pet store, so these are in smaller containers but they look well kept. Overall, good store I've only ever been greeted by the older lady but every time was a good experience. I will continue to support them. However, when I was ready to purchase them, the employee informed me the price was "incorrect" and attempted to charge me a higher price without honoring the advertised 25% discount. I waited for a manager or owner to return my call, but unfortunately I never received one. Needless to say, I left without the two angelfish I was excited to bring home. I really liked this place and wanted to continue supporting them, but this experience was disappointing and left a bad impression.

Salt water is $2 a gallon, twice as much as the going rate. Young lady, the shop proprietor, informed me they are more geared towards nano fish, shrimp and plants. Which is odd because there is only a handful of stocked nano tanks upon entry and 2 plant tanks nestled in a corner in the back. Most stock is mass produced and imported from Southeast Asia. Store has so much potential with its large footprint. Try Nolan's Aquariums or Reef Tropical for a well stocked cichlid section, that's mostly bred and raised in hard Southern California water.

The tank soon got overtaken by algae and angry fish. Finally decided to just have a pro clean it up for us and called up Bay Ace Aquarium and we're very glad that we did! The communication was prompt, clear, and easy. They arrived on time ready to go and respectfully removed shoes upon entry every time they'd come inside of the house. Our tank cleaning seemed to have clocked around 1 hour and a half as it was pretty bad. Definately going to be doing our fish a solid and contacting here again to help maintain again! Thanks!
