I recommend this cozy, sweet smelling spot for a wide variety of tea while chatting with a friend about a favorite book. Friendly service. Snacks/ treats available.

Lovely little tea shop offering an extensive variety of loose leaf teas and tea accessories, as well as a cafe to try various drinks and some bakery items. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and will help you find your perfect drink. There's also the option to get a smaller portion of their loose leaf teas to try out. Looking forward to trying more of their teas in store and at home!

What a lovely little spot. I remember when the were down the street it was a jewel box of a store. They moved into what was Tru Yoga (the moved across the street) The husband and wife team behind this great tea store are lovely and gracious as is there staff. You can buy all sorts of loose tea, try some tea flights either hot or iced . Make sure you try the hibiscus iced tea it's delicious and caffeine free. They have a loyal following a plus. Check them out. Parking is street.

Such a lovely crew at Happy Earth Tea who are passionate about their vision and tea! I loved the Hojicha iced latte with a touch of sweetness- so refreshing and I'm already craving more! There's indoor and outdoor seating- tons of options to have tea there or purchase tea leaves and products. Am so glad I came across Happy Earth Tea and look forward to future visits!!

Happy Earth Tea is a MUST! This is one of the best tea places I've even been to. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The staff and very knowledgeable and friendly. They feature many different varieties of teas, chais, matchas etc. they also have a store where you can purchase your own tea favorites, teapots, water bottles, honey, cookies and more. I love the little tea bar, cafe which also features outdoor seating. I order the iced Happy Hibiscus- which was a 10/10! Next time you're in the South Wedge- check them out!

Niraj and Mary are beautiful people with big loving hearts. I am a huge fan of all varieties of tea. I have Irish roots somewhere in my DNA is a love of tea time. Love the black tea blends for afternoon. Green tea blends for bed time. Their tea is all natural and you feel so good drinking it. You are supporting tea growers who care for the land and leave it better than they found it. Enjoy the joy of tea time.

1000% recommend. This place knows what they're doing when it comes to tea! High quality whole leaf teas, brewed at the correct temperature depending on the type of tea. Happy earth tea is a delight! Soothing music, super friendly owners, you feel like family when you walk in. They also have lots of teas and beautiful tea accessories for sale. If you love tea this is the place for u!

I don't usually get beverages when I'm out and about unless it's a social event. I came with a friend on a Saturday after lunch and loved how warm and inviting this place is. There's a lot of little cute things around the store, like the miniature animal figures all over the counter. I got a Chai and watched them making it. It has freshly minced ginger out of a food processor - that's why you do get a strong ginger taste. The spiced flavor didn't taste diluted at all. It was a lot of Chai though. I was happily full afterwards haha.

Yum, yum, yum! I stopped in here after a trip to the bookstore with a friend. It is such a cute store with many fun options of loose-leaf teas to buy. I ordered the Masala Chai with oat milk, which was one of the specials. It was a bit pricy at $6 for a small cup. As soon as I tasted it, I did not care. It was the best, smoothest, creamiest chai I had ever tasted. I am still thinking about it! My friend loved her drink as well! We will be back here again in the future!

Wow, this shop was incredible. Amazing tea flights for $10 with wonderful education and background on each tea. We tried the oolong and white tea flights. There is also a traditional pu-erh tea pouring for $13 for 5 steeps. The whole atmosphere is incredibly calming and several customers were there enjoying a cup of tea and reading a book. There are lots of wonderful tea appliances and tools to purchase and peruse, if interested. Looking forward to coming back and sampling more!

This place is fantastic! It would feel essential even if all they did was sell loose tea - which seems hard to find at any local grocery. But the selection, the packaging, the atmosphere - a virtual ode to the experience of tea in many ways. So glad to have it in the South Wedge.

    Gyokuro Green Tea, $7

Introduced to this place by fellow Yelpers, and prior to getting notoriety on CNN's top Tea Houses in the World, LTB is a must-go for those that want to divulge in caffeine, conversations, and culture. The shoppe boasts a modest, but welcoming interior with a staff reflecting those aesthetics, and that's a wonderful thing. LTB is the embodiment of "peace" if I were to describe this place with one word. Usually on Sunday mornings I find myself placed here with tea that tastes the way I love it: easy breezy and Japanesey. I've tried several unique teas but I find myself always going back to the Gyokuro Green Tea. The umami is so strong and robust I forget that I'm drinking a tea; i feel like I'm drinking a meal. I absolutely love this tea. I would like to buy a pack and brew it at home, but I just have a sinking feeling that I could never make it as well as the Tea Specialist here. Just a few minutes in, you can see her passion and depth of knowledge of her product, which may rival that of the owner! If I have a question about a certain tea, or process, there's no guessing: she immediately grabs a reference book to seek that answer for the benefit our knowledge. RESPECT. Though this is primarily for tea, and you don't want to eat something too strong to throw off your appreciation for the flavor profile, I hope that they serve food beyond just pastries from the Red Fern. Despite that, being open less than a year, I'm hugely impressed with this place. I look forward to seeing how it grows.

I always like to look for espresso specials and we were not disappointed by the selection. My fiance got The Snug with maple syrup and molasses bitters. I was too afraid to try any drinks with bitters (I hate how it tastes in cocktails) but I took a sip of The Snug and it tasted great, I would definitely try that next time. I had the B.B.L. latte which had banana syrup, it was more on the sweet side but not overly sweet (I would avoid it if you don't enjoy a sweet palate, try a latte with bitters instead!) It was something unique to try and I was happy with my choice. There was also plenty of seating which is always a huge plus in the winter in Rochester. We had no trouble getting a table. I should also note that there was a very limited food selection here -- about 3 baked goods offered. So if you're looking for food and coffee, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Overall I would happily try out Ugly Duck again! I'm curious if they have outdoor seating in the warmer months.

I'm not sure I'd consider this a good place to study, but it's a nice place to catch up with friends or take a pause outside with a good drink on a patio. The seating inside is somewhat limited, but the patio is beautiful. The buildings will provide natural shade in the afternoon. Parking can also be difficult and limited.
